Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 's review
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007, past the mouth-full title, the story definitely has, what I believe, an original twist. Cool, silent and deadly, Detective Kuze is the star detective in the police division, it's a given that he gets on the bosses nerves but overall, an interesting character. As we get to know Detective Kuze, what looks like a dumb-broad comes into the scene, although she's a main character and yeah, she's a great help to the investigations, she gets on my nerves.
We follow these partners-in-crime, or should I say, anti-crime, as they go solving crime after crime. The art is pretty good, there is an faint effort in adding details however ALL the faces (and necks) are disproportionate which however way you look at it, how ever hard you try; you can't ignore it. Although there is an effort to make a good story with exceptional illustration, it doesn't fully achieve that but there is definitely an effort made by the crew to try to achieve that, the story's good but the fatal draw back was the illustration. Did I enjoy it? It was okay, a passing mark but not 'wow'. |
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 's review
I liked the Shoujo genre, I am an avid fan of romantic stories (to fill the empty of my single life), and however, this is my first experience with a typical work of the trend more popular of the genre. A straight relationship between two being almost divine with the characteristic draw of this trend, fully detailed and densely decorated. Because of this I have certain expectative that, since nor, I confess, the work didn’t correspond.
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 is a manga that I unknown at all but it’s highly ranked and scored in the MAL top, checking the mangraphy of the author, Eiri Kaiji, its notable as always has moved by the same creative trend. Obviously is the first work I read of the author. The main characters are Kuze and Fuyuki, each one has a respective background that delimits which are going to be their thematic, being the confrontation with the past in search of future and dealing with the feelings to have the bravery of accept the future. Typical thematic and easily applicable to narrative about couples, since reach each one require the support of each other. And that’s important because is, without a doubt, the most attractive element of the works, the interaction and bonding of the main couple. Since the start the extreme personalities of both make mutually supply the lacks, the scenes and exchanges keep the rhythm and interest (at least a basic level, at the begging), mostly because each one is strongly defined in their bases. Fuyuki is the cute and innocent girl, Kuze is the cold prince, we known that expect of each one and the manga give to us, wholesome without be facilists, again, at least, at the start. Of once is valid to clarify than the rest of the side characters are just little ornaments for the individual stories, none has real weight in the narrative. The context is of police and reflects on the structure, a buddy cop. Chapters turnaround of some murdered / threat / kidnapping with our main couple growing up in their relationship while they are sorting out it, of the most solid structures of the history in human narrative, need a key concept, innovation. There is attractive in the variety of the cases and their solution, its need to guarantee success. Unfortunately (for third time) at the start can be attractive in basic levels, but once the reader capture the sequential structure of the resolutions, none result moderately unique, in fact, of all the cases presented not a single one arrives to highlight. Its notable just were focused to serve to the couple, don’t exist outside of theirs. It´s getting worst considering the few duration of the manga to make generated so weariness. The development of the couples is the waited one, something not necessarily bad, because is care of it, happen little a little, in the expected ways by the right ways, and really need this, although both principals are tolerable at first, don’t show new characteristics or facets. Even worst the background of Kuze, their approach needed be more exciting. The draw is very detailed, with environments full of multiple topics, setting correctly all the sensations than remits the relationship. The layout is simple and effective, accord to the narrative. The more I liked were the cover pages, where exhibits fully their abilities of composition. I feel it than could be more, yes, reach and argument the message, in mediocre ways considering the trends that count of. Simply don’t pass of an acceptable work in a disputed genre, a romance more of fairy’s that humans. |
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 's review
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 is a very exciting and brilliant manga. In some parts it seems very interesting and you want to find out more. The drawings and the character's features are very matching and associate with the story very much. The story and plot itself is very well written. Some scenes have almost nothing to do with other scenes, but once you read it to the end of the chapter or volumn or read the little notes left by the author you'll understand it.
I recommend this story to girls and people who want a heart throbbing manga to read. I hope this review encourages people to read this manga. Just saying I personally have read it so many times I've gotten a bit tired of waiting for the next release. |
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 's review
Oh, oh, I did not expect to read this one, ya know. At first glance, I honestly hate the art, I feel like I can’t stand it. It took me like another year after discovering it just because I ran out of manga lol. Now I’m really glad I got through it and able to read this one. The art gets better each chapters and now I find them very pretty.
All I can say is this one is really not at all like what I’m expecting. I thought this one would be a heavy, serious, lack of romance type, but surprisingly not. With those amount of skinship, it’s totally lovey - dovey. The whole journey feels like those tv crime-comedy series, just with lots of romance. The story and how it’s concluded was done beautifully. I was kinda hoping the main story gets a bit darker though, since it would be exciting with the tense and so on. If you’re like me, hesitating at first, then I recommend you to just go on read this one. It’s so good. This one is really typical shoujo. Those manga type that you can re-read once in a while. |

Story: 8
The story was told in a perfect pace - not too slow or too fast. Every chapter had it's own investigation or 'theme' and they fit together pretty well. Also there is romance included but it's not the primary plot but it completes the story. Sometimes there are quite funny moments. Art: 10 I really liked the art of this Manga! It has this kind of 'old' feeling to it, but it's really sharp. Both Kuze & Fuyuki are really good looking and the art style really suits the story. Character: 9 All the main characters are well done, background story is explored in the course of the story. Everybody has his own kinks and flaws and that makes it all even better. Also i really liked that Fuyuki is a sharp woman and not too naive like many other 'main girls' in other mangas. Enjoyment: 9 I really enjoyed everything about this manga, even the ending fits it so well! It's sad that this manga wasn't licensed, i would definitely buy it if it ever gets licensed here. |

Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 is a gem.
So I’m an avid shoujo manga reader and I only rate something 10 when it completely moves me in some way and 007 successfully does that. I’ve read it a couple of times and it moves me every single time. Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 literally translates to Special crime investigation department 007...Its an infamous 4th level department that usually deal unusual and small small cases passed down from other divisions Fuyuki joins this department and is partnered with Kuze, a bishounen detective. Kuze is one of the most handsomest leads I’ve ever come across. He’s simply A+++ in all aspects I can’t stop talking about him but well you’ll understand when you read the manga! Fuyuki has a special power called ESP where she can read a person’s last memory by touching the person andthis is how she helps solve the murder cases along with Kuze. The art is great. If you’re picky about art then only the first 2-3 chapters may seem to have a bit older art and Fuyuki’s face looks a bit off. However seriously don’t let that discourage you and drop it because the art becomes really nice after that. The story is great too. Nothing seemed forced and the only complaint I have is that I wished it had more chapters Plus Kuze and Fuyuki’s interactions are gold especially the reaction of public to their PDA’s are so hilarious And their interactions always makes me feel things lmao, my heart- If you’re into shoujo manga and are searching for some great romantic manga then definitely give 007 a try! Hope you like it too ~ Happy Reading :D |

{ Warning : May contain spoiler ! }
You have been warned , so if you don`t like spoilers; please leave if it`s not convenient for you to read Spoilers . Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 , is a story about crimes , investigations and something similar to it. A 17 - year old girl named , Ichikawa Fuyuki , was sent to join the team Special Crime Investigation Department 007. She was partnered with the most handsome detective Kagami Ichirou or Kuze for short. Fuyuki is not just a normal girl , she has powers , where she can read / see the last person`s memories , so she is a really big help in their department - also , their chief and the other staffs really likes Fuyuki because she is really cute and beautiful . Fuyuki , likes Kuze (I think she does though). And kuze likes to tease Fuyuki a lot , like in the first chapter where Kuze was on top of Fuyuki Story - [8] The plot or storyline was great ! Not to mention , it`s not super Romantic -- somewhat like "Light Romance" to be described. Each chapter has different stories , I mean different investigations or so. Art - [8] It was great , the mangaka`s drawing was great as it is. Kuze is really handsome and Fuyuki is very cute ! Character - [9] The characters base was also great , not too cocky. Plus their traits suits them really well , so their images is well - matched to their personality. Enjoyment - [9] Not much to say , as I have already said a lot above :D Overall - [8] 8 is fit to be the final score , but as soon as I finish reading the series , I might change the scores and so -- but this might get finished too long , or I might wait too long; because this has just been published not too long ago. So I everything is said as of now; Sidenotes - I recommend you to read this manga. You`ll get hooked to this one once you read the first chapter , and see Fuyuki and Kuze together :D |
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 's review
7.5/10 This was a very sweet story, and I enjoyed reading it. The interactions between Kuze and Fuyuki were both comedic and heart-warming. While the story borders on cliche moments at times, I believe that adds to the charm of the story. Personally, the art style really suited my taste. The character designs, for Kuze especially, give me 90s vibes which really suit my taste. Despite enjoying this story overall there were some aspects of it that could use improvement. I believe that Fuyuki and Kuze's backstory could have really been developed better. While I did find the conclusion to Kuze's troubles to be satisfying it felt very quick and anti-climatic. Additionally, the pieces just felt like they fit together 'too' conveniently in regards to Kuze's 'villain'. However, how they concluded his character arc wasn't too bad. On the other hand, I was vastly disappointed in Fuyuki's backstory and how they concluded it... it felt too easy and almost cheap because of how easily she got a happy ending ( when clearly her situation was very complex). I would have rated this higher if the author concluded the manga and Fuyuki's backstory better, and covered it with more chapters. There were plenty of chapters with that seemed to be filler where they just went off to cases ( which has its own charm) but some of those could have been used instead to address Fuyuki's issues. |
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 's review
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 is a refreshing bit of shoujo manga--for me, anyway. The fact that most of the story is completely unrelated to a school setting is pretty uncommon for the genre, and the morbid/action-packed career of the leads is also unconventional. These contribute significantly to the "originality" of the manga, and I can recommend it on the grounds that it will at least have different subplots/story arcs than most of its peers (if you're like me and constantly fall into reading stereotypical shoujo series).
It's also unique in the respect that you don't have to deal with pointless romantic rivals. The main theme throughout the series is that Fuyuki and Kuze are meant for each other, as each can provide the support and understanding that the other needs. It's so prevalent, even from the outset of the series, that I don't even have to qualify it as a spoiler. In fact, the early development of their relationship goes somewhat unexplained, and I blame the author for not taking more time to flesh out those early stages (I originally thought it must have been written by a man to take so little effort). But the speed of it all can be quite satisfying if you are currently super-done with series taking 50+ chapters to show ANY kind of relationship progress. With this series, you get lots of flirting, hugs, and kisses throughout. It can be silly and absurd--so much that I would laugh from embarrassment at how unrealistic a situation was--but you can't deny the appeal of two attractive characters having strong chemistry. I like straightforward characters, too, so the forward behavior of Kuze was fun for me, and Fuyuki's complete disregard for her own beauty was a relief from the tropes of insecurity or semi-oblivious behavior (i.e. I prefer "geez Kuze is attracting attention" to "~oh my, why is everyone looking at me~**is it because I suddenly became beautiful?? ;*" or "ugh I can never compare to my hot male MC! I need to go on a diet!!!!"). You just get to enjoy the fact that they're good-looking, along with literally every other character in the manga. Overall, I recommend it as a quick shoujo read. Get in, get out. Enjoy the blatant romance. |
