I love this manga so much that I've actually reread the manga over three times. This manga has everything that I was looking for: romance, action, tragedy, laughs, and a main female character who actually tries to put in an effort to improve! It has some mature themes in it however so I would recommend this series only to readers 16/17+

I have read the whole series of this manga thrice or more already (in assumption), but I have never experienced being bored by it.
The story is really great even if you reread it for how many times you want, the crispiness and beauty of the story is still there. The characters are all fun (even each of their back story is quite amusing, it will really entertain you). Overall, the impact is so great. Me---giving it full marks might be too much, but I just can't forget how great this manga is. It's cute, funny as hell, and at the same time the politics and historical aspects of war is present. |

Story - 5 (mediocre)
Art - 9 (great, I love the coupling I've made. Yeah, IKR, I'm a Fujoshi so what? Character - 2 (dreadful) Enjoyment - 1 (pathetic) overall- 4 (decent) 1st 50 chapters was awesome, I might have rated it with a 10. But the remaining were a total s***. I was controlling myself not to curse anymore due its patheticness. I finished it hoping for a great comeback. Aw geez, now that I think about, it was really a waste. grr >.< Super stupid heroine, chaotic conclusion, and again, stupid heroine. At Least it was consistent on its heroine being stupid and has tons of bishies even older bishies (drools haha). I guess that's it. I enjoyed it coupling bishies with the older bishies together. Well, you can't deprive a Fujoshi THAT from a wasted gem like this. *sigh.. |

I love this manga series! I feel so sad that I finished it already. :'(
This manga series should be a hit for every person who loves romance/humor/action manga! It surprised me when I first started to read it. I felt so mesmerized as I read, I couldn't get the words "Tail of The Moon", out of my head ( LOL did I just rhyme there?)! Usagi and Hanzo (the one who doesn't have blond hair), are over all my most two favorite characters out of this series. Them two... show how love can be formed and not broken. It really was cool at first that Hanzou was so strict, then when he got to know Usagi better, his heart softened. It's a lot like Inuyasha in some ways. But "Tail of The Moon", is not all about romance. Like I said earlier, it has humor and action in it too; so it makes it more exciting as the story goes. This story takes place in feudal Japan (warren era, aka in the past). It goes on about this one girl who is obviously horrible when it comes to being a ninja (because she can never get out of kiddie class), so her great grandfather tells her to go marry Hanzo, Hattori and have children with him. When she gets there, Hanzou rejects her, because he's not interested in getting married. Of course the story will get better than the plot has said. I believe that this series won't die out, it's too dang good. ;) |

I find it pathetic how at the begging the female protagonist has to struggle just for a guy who doesn't give a crap about her and OMG it really ticked me off when he throws her out just because she didn't want to do training. Why doesn't Sara just make it clear that she doesn't feel that way about him. I just doesn't have the patience and time to just watch a girl hopelessly try to show her love. The beginning was a really downer for me.
Overall I don't this is a bad manga it's just not a manga suited for people like me. |

Story - 8
Tail of the moon is about a girl named Usagi who is unable to do rigorious excercies. Her great grandfather decided that the one task she was able to do was become the bride-elect of Hanzo and marry him. The story is more of the romantic type but it also includes a bit of adventure and humor. The story progresses at a steady pace and it will keep you hooked till the very end. It seems very simple and non-creative at the beginning but as the story progresses it gets more complicating and interesting. The plot line does a eally great job at hidding the intention of the characters motives. You never know how the story is going to turn out, which makes the story all the more exciting. Art - 7 The artist put a great amount of time creating the characters and their looks. It is clearly identifiable when you look at the drawings. She expecially puts alot of detail into the facial features and their clothing of the characters. One problem that I have with the drawings is that the first time I saw Hanzo, I thought he was a girl because of his hair and long eyelashes. Characters - 8 Their are quite alot of important characters in this story but they all have lots of times when they are in the story so you won't forget who they are. Also, their personalities are very different from one another, even the brothers, which makes them all unique. ------------------------------------- I really enjoyed this manga and I would recommend it to people who like romance mangas or people who like a little adventure. |

i really loved this manga series. it has officially become my favorite manga series ever! i really wish it would be made into anime. that would be amazing. i wish usagi had learned her ninja skills better and not just near the very end of the series though. thats the only thing i would change if i could change something about the series. i must say hanzo is the hottest male manga character i have ever seen. i fell in love with him at first sight!>

This manga....ah...what can I say about this particular manga?...well for starters I can tell you thats Its worth your time reading and maybe buying the whole series. It may disappoint you If your not so into the whole ninja love thing. I can tell you that I wasn't at first but I managed to give this a try and truth is Im selfishly in love with the ninja type stuff now. It was this manga that made me. Its about a young female ninja named Usagi who has yet managed to pass to be a full-fledged shinobi/ninja. Her grandpa sends her on a request due
to her much led frustration or much more a task or a must to marry and bare Lord Hanzo`s babies. Though theres one problem that sustains this task is that Hanzo has no interest in marriage or Usagi herself!...or is it because of his mysterious feelings for a certain princess..?
Usagi goes through many hardships and competition trying to win Hanzo`s love for herself and while on the way Hanzo slowly opens up to her and accepts her. And thats where Ill stop for this summary as I dont want to give out to much. Did I get you interested and off your seat?..hopefully I did. In all together the art and characters were split out splendidly I adored the awh and ooh scenes in this manga. It wasnt just romance in the whole plot action and comedy were tossed in to spice it up..and maybe add a dash of drama? Usagi and Hanzo`s love is what Id say a one in a kind..If you can consider it that...Hanzo`s frozen heart slowly starts to melt and softens as he learns more and gets closer to Usagi. Their love makes my heart flutter and sometimes makes me want that kind of love, that kind of special connection with someone. As I want to say I give this an out standing 10/10. I give it two thumbs up and you wont be disappointed with this ninja love adventure! |
