Anonymous is a mysterious nonbinary enigma who seems to not try to be too intimately attached to anyone. Whether they are a normal human or something more magical is left vague.

Anonymous has also mentioned they are aromantic, and don't experience romantic attraction. They say this is separate from the fact they aren't very connected to others.

They're also ultimately okay with being viewed as male or female by others, but don't view themself as one or the other.
