Shingeki no Kyojin review
Before delving into spoilers, I should say that Attack on Titan is a lot more nuanced than it appears on the surface. The story starts of very simple. But over time, as elements are introduced and the world as well as the cast of characters expands, it becomes a very intricate, thrilling and gripping.

***BEWARE OF SPOILERS FROM HERE ON!***

Attack on Titan is a series that has defined a part of me — through discussing it almost every single day for months and months... through anxiously waiting for a new chapter to drop so it'd stir the topics up a bit or finally give answers to the mystery-boxes.
Writing this review is terrifying because of how special and important this series is for me, in terms of my investment in the characters and the narrative, as well as the friends made by conversing over it.
And although Attack on Titan's latest arc, which also is the final arc, has been problematic in the way it's told the story, namely — how it has jumped from one plot-point to another, instead of slowly unrolling all of them in a one continuous flow — despite that...
I can't not say: Attack on Titan is brilliant.
And it's been so since the beginning.
At first the story purposefully draws people into having a certain mindset. But that's later revealed to be a small and narrow outlook which was shared with the characters, and that was essential to make the readers empathize with the situation the characters were in to such a degree, that it'd seal any other possible way of looking at the situation off. So when the characters were challenged in their understanding of the world, so were the readers.
At first it's just droplets of information continuing to pose questions about what is really going on in the story. But they're easy to ignore or interpret in a way that melts them into the preconception.
Then the characters start to encounter a lot more overt signs that everything isn't as it seems and find contradictions between what was their common-knowledge and what they actually see in the world.
And that results in a culmination which totally shifts the entire narrative to a completely new page and perspective. The premise of the story evolves side by side with the characters when they learn more about their surroundings and themselves. The lingering questions and clues all begin to make sense.

When you find out what Attack on Titan is truly about, at first, it may seem alienating due to the contrast it has with the story up to that point. But in truth, alien would be one of the least likely words I'd use to describe it.
What Attack on Titan shows in its last two arcs is so eerily real and close to the "real-world". The situation the characters find themselves in is something that could happen and has happened to people.
It's believable and impactful. And because every character has their own story, viewpoint and understandable mindset, it's nigh impossible to confidently call anyone right. But it also feels wrong to call them the opposite as well.
It's the ultimately morally grey story. There's no certain culprit who could be blamed for the situation in which the characters find themselves in. It's the outcome of many decisions which were taken by characters to try and have a place for themselves in the world. Who is in the wrong? Who is the villain? Who is the monster of the story? There isn't a clear answer to any such question. It's all up to the readers to decide what they see as the best path in the circumstances. It might be angering, it might make anyone feel powerlessness or sorrow... and achieving that was the intent of Isayama.
Attack on Titan is a masterpiece, it's a story that I definitely wouldn't call simple entertainment, although, it's fine to think of it as such, since it's just really entertaining too. But, if you haven't read it, please do, or not. I mean, it's just... fantastic, at least in my opinion, y'know

NaNa review
NANA is definitely one of the best mangas that I've ever read. There's something about it that makes it very different from other ones, so I personally think it's a must-read. Anyways, my review may contain some spoilers, but I'll try my best not to reveal too much.

Story- 10
The first thing that comes to mind when I think of NANA is how incredibly realistic it is compared to many other mangas. It starts out very normal like any other shoujo/josei manga; introducing the two main characters who both happen to have the name Nana. It pretty much follows the life of these two girls as they meet on a train to Tokyo, and then later decide to share an apartment. It may sound a bit dull and boring, but the story always draws you in and makes you wonder what would happen next. Personally what I think is best about the story is the realistic aspect of it, since I've always loved serious and realistic mangas/animes. After reading so many silly mangas with unrealistic story plots, I found it very refreshing to read something completely different. In fact, it's so realistic to the point that I find myself wishing that it wouldn't be so realistic, since NANA definitely isn't your happily ever after story.

Art- 7
Well, I hate to say this but the art of NANA isn't the best. It's not that the mangaka is a bad artist or anything, but the style of NANA just doesn't appeal to me very much. I also don't really like how some of the backgrounds seem as if they are a completely different style of art. Sometimes it looks as if the characters are standing in front of some wallpaper rather than in the actual place so that kinda bothers me. On the other hand, I love how much detail the mangaka puts in the characters and their clothes.

Character- 10
I'm not giving this section a 10 because I think all the characters are perfect and love them all to death, but rather because there is at least one thing I don't like about almost all the characters. That may sound weird, but the reason why I like it is because of how realistic it makes them and how it makes you able to relate to them very easily. I can easily imagine all the characters being real people, and almost all of them are very well developed. Another thing I like about the manga NANA is how the mangaka isn't afraid to put in traits like selfishness and possessiveness and have the characters realize those traits in themselves. I don't think I've ever read another manga that had that, so I was pretty impressed when I first read those parts.

Enjoyment- 9
I really don't have much to say here...all I have to say is that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this.

Overall- 9
Okay, I'll just be repeating myself here if I say how much I enjoyed it, so I'll just add a few things here that I didn't put up here. So another thing I like about NANA is how it makes you think a bit about life in general. The things that the characters say sometimes made me realize some stuff, and now because of NANA I think I can understand people a bit better. :3

Recommendation-
I recommend this manga to people who like realistic plots that have a bit of humor in it. But if you're someone that likes fairy tail plots, happily ever afters, perfect princes/princesses, or couples that have no problems then this definitely isn't the manga for you. And it's also for an older audience so please don't read it if you're really young. o3o

Fairy Idol Kanon review
After making a ton of recommendations, it's time I made my first review on this site— and why not begin with a late-childhood-favorite that doesn't have any reviews yet as of this writing?

Fairy Idol Kanon is a fun musical-themed fairy tale that was Mera Hakamada's first manga series. While people who know of her are more familiar with her GL works like The Last Uniform, I've always known her for this underrated gem of a children's manga. This is one of those manga series that I really believe deserves an anime adaptation— lots of funny scenes, cute character and outfit designs, some nice morals, and lots of potential for more development and such.

The story has a simple premise: three elementary schoolgirls who like to sing become idols with the help of a fairy princess from a musical kingdom in need of help. It can be a bit slow to get to the beginning of their musical careers, but the buildup is rewarding once we see our main antagonist and the story gets really interesting.
There's lots of funny scenes and cute outfits throughout the story, but we also get a bunch of dramatic moments and some development in world-building and characters. This series surprised me with some of the more dramatic parts and with how much I got hooked into it as a kid, and I'm still charmed by so many things in this story, like some of the morals touched on about having fun.

The art in this series is all right, with lots of very round and cute drawings throughout, and the two chapter splash pages that are in color are pretty decently colored. There are some inconsistencies here and there though, like how some characters have different shaped faces or eyes in some pages, so I don't blame people who may feel that the art is the worst part of the series. But the simple art style is still enough to win me over, and it really works with the more delicate-feeling panels. Screen tone is used very nicely in some pages too, especially with the very light or soft-looking panels.

The characters in this story get some levels of development, but they were still very enjoyable to see! The main character, Kanon, may be a bit Mary-Sue-ish with how amazing her voice is, but she was still a very enjoyable protagonist in my opinion, since she still had her flaws and optimistic personality addressed.
Her friends are fun to see too, with Marika being the more stern but realistic one and Kodama being the cute, knowledgeable fangirl. Their agent, the fashionable Pierre, is easily the funniest character in the story and I can totally see Hakamada and her assistants' enthusiasm with drawing him. Their cute fairy princess friend, Alto, is funny too and I always smile when I see her smiling (too cute!!).
The girls' rival, Julia, is pretty bratty and proud. I realize with reading more idol manga that this is a pretty typical rival with these types of stories, but I still enjoy seeing her emote and being absolutely hilarious with her pettiness over the main characters.

Overall, this series is a fun read and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good idol story, fairies, or just some good light-hearted children's tales. The story is very nice considering its short length, and the characters are fun. The art is simple and sometimes dwindles in quality, but it is very pleasing to the eyes on the series' best panels. This series totally deserves an anime adaptation, considering its visible appeal and the simple fact that music doesn't translate well in a visual-only medium. I hope anyone who is reading this enjoys Fairy Idol Kanon as much as I did and has as much fun as Kanon and friends in the story!

Kitarubeki Sekai review
From the man who brought us Astro Boy, Buddha, and many other acclaimed works, Tezuka Osamu brings us Kitarubeki Sekai, or better known as NextWorld. Nextworld is a story about the epidemic crisis of the Earth coming to an end. Threatened by an unknown substance our heroes Kenichi, Rock, Dr. Mustache, and many other faces try to save the world and prepare for the worse, as they face tribulations of war, greed, fear, and other obstacles along the way in this 1951 tale by Tezuka.

The story is told in a series of non-linear events, where the world is soon coming to an end, and being invaded by aliens. Human nature displays its gruesome nature, as fear and greed causes the nations to go at war with each other. In the meantime our cast of characters all find themselves in different situations as they try to do what they can to survive this epidemic. Tezuka uses a non-linear style to tell his story. At times the un-parallel events come together greatly, but at other times the fluidity of the story runs amok. The transitions between certain events is executed poorly, but it doesn’t take away from the overall style of the story.

The cartoonish style that Tekuza uses in his story adds to the light humor of this Sci-fi story. The looney events that he has when he displays the chaos depicted in his story really brings out the best of his characters and surrounding settings. At times though, the cartoon-like style does overwhelm his panels as there is too much going on in such a small panel. Although at times the cluster of events in one panel would overwhelm it, there were multiple moments where the art would definitely shine at depicting the great fantasy world that Tezuka had built for this story.

Nextworld is definitely one of his more vibrant works. Full of overlying dialogue and at times spontaneous events. A manga full of cartoonish and non-linear ingenuity, which displays a fun and adventurous story waiting to be read.

Maou Dante review
(NO SPOILER REVIEW)
You might have found this manga when looking into the Devilman universe and Go Nagai's works, that's how I found it. This review is based only on Maou Dante, as I haven't read any other work by Nagai. I you don't want to read this looong review, skip to the end where I give my final thoughts.

STORY: A really different story to what you might've ever seen. This is a short story, you can find various versions with different amount of volumes, but they're all (mostly) the same. I will explain why "mostly" in the art section. A controversial plot for it's time, Go Nagai portrays a different angle between the battle of "Good and Evil". While the story is interesting, certain aspects of the plot are pretty goofy, and it might be hard for you to take it as seriously as the manga portrays it. Also, like most of Nagai works (which I haven't read, but know of), this is full of gruesome deaths and blood everywhere. BE AWARE, this manga doesn't have an ending.

ART: I'm not a fan of Nagai's artstyle. It might have been okay in the 70's, but today it's really hard to like it if you don't look at it retroactively or with an open mind. The strongest point of this manga's artwork is by far, the backgrounds and the giant monsters, which are full to the brim with detail. The weakest point is,of course, the character designs and overall style. Horrible aesthetic plus a laughable anatomy, even for a product of it's time, anatomy as bad as this one shouldn't have been okay.
There are different versions of this manga by different publishers that vary between the amount of pages and volumes, but they're not different enough to be dissatisfied with if you read a "lesser" version. The 2 volume version is the original, while the 3 volume version has some colored pages, some entirely new pages it also takes away a few pages entirely, not many, maybe like 4 or 5) and fixed character designs. By "fixed" I mean that Nagai redrew some panels that looked terrible on the original, like character expressions, clothes, shading and anatomy. I read both versions, and this fixes are more than welcome.

CHARACTER: I have no positives or negatives when it comes to the characters, none of them get enough development in the span of 2 volumes to make an opinion off.

ENJOYMENT & Overall Opinion: A short and easy to read manga that presents an interesting story (Albeit, a little bit boring in my opinion) with a subpar artstyle that is only good in the "kaiju battles" and the backgrounds. Would only recommend it if you plan on reading the entire universe of Devilman mangas, considering "Maou Dante" as a proto-Devilman story.
There's a Remake of this called "NEO MAOU DANTE" with better art and an actual ending, considering this version doesn't have a proper ending at all. I recommend reading Maou Dante before going for Neo Maou Dante.

Dead Tube review
This review is spoiler free (well if you have read at least the 2 or 3 first chapters of this manga)

Story (8/10):
I think this manga is really focused on the young internet users, and the progression of the ... youtube community.
Everything is going darker, deeper, more trash, because the feeling of experiment with things, new concept, is easily fading out. Suicidal pranks, suicidal app (#momo), scary videos, sex on reality show ... you got the idea.
More and more people needs this contents because the previous contents turned too boring for them, and it's completly natural. And I think this manga is poiting out this phenomenon.
However, sometimes I'm thinking that gore and sex are just here for ... well. Gore and sex. Sometimes the manga tries to tell something ... but then NAH ! SEX & GORE !

Art (8/10):
Just taste. I think the drawings of the expressions are nicely done here.

Character (7/10):
Honestly, some characters can be great. Except that if they have background, it's very too surrealistic, like, it's impossible for someone to have a childhood like this and staying psychologically able to communicate after this. And the others one are just too extrem. Like "Hello I am the horny character", or "Hello I'm a psychopath" or "I hate my brother I want to kill him". The psychology of a lot of characters are just too burlesque, nobody can believe it.

Enjoyment (8/10):
Idk why I enjoyed this that much. But having an antisocial psychopath (who everyone thought was a bullied boy at first glance) as a main character, is a pretty nice idea.
