Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou review
I was shocked and disappointed after I decided to pick YKK up after checking it had nothing but 10 reviews. So here comes a balancing effect, observations of one of the few who do not consider it a masterpiece.
This manga is a lot like some children's TV program about "what the Teddy Bear did today". Sure it's "pleasant" to read but that's about where it's good aspects end. There doesn't seem to be any kind of real continuing story, except "life, which goes on" which hardly is sufficient for a "masterpiece". We are presented with very haphazardly explained new technology - one might even say, perfectly justifiable, that it doesn't make any sense. For "science fiction" YKK is laughable. Character designs are heavily caricatured, which subtracts from the realisticality and adds to the "this is for kids" feel. There're also fanservice-ish moments and things, like how the fembots exchange information by tongue-kissing. (And no, that cannot be justified by "it just adds to the realism, their creators happened to be perverts you see, and many people in technical careers are really perverted nerds".) Not really anything more to say. Simple summary of a simple manga. Does it succeed in attaining its goals? I think so. Are theis goals something so brilliant, original, mature and mind-revolutionizing YKK deserves a 10 or 9? I don't think so. Do/did I enjoy reading it? Save for the disappointments in relation to the hype, mostly yes. Is sole personal enjoyment enough to earn something a 10 or 9, if all other important parts of a story lack and the whole thing's mostly a carbon copy of a dozen of similar works? Not in my system. Now that you know what is defective in YKK, and don't just face a wall of 10 reviews giving impression of "this is for everyone", you may confidently proceed to read it and form your own opinion. I pass the baton.

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou review
Like a mighty phoenix I rise from the flames to bring you this review. Like a good neighbor Time Stop Samurai is here with a brand new review. When you think about overrated garbage what comes to your mind? Aria the Origination? Monogatari? Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso? When I see the phrase one title rises above the rest, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou (YKK) or as its known in English Yokohama Shopping Log. YKK as I will be calling it, is an ephemeral slogfest that tries to be deep while being a thinly coated moe pandering slice of where nothing happens. This show panders to
people who get off to girls doing nothing yet want to fit in with the “big boys” on anime discussion forums like 4chan. This manga if I can even call it that is about an automaton named Alpha who runs a café after her master left whom went on an odyssey. What is his raison d’etre? What happened to him? We never find out, this manga weaves many plot threads but fails to tie them into a coherent plot. It’s just a mess of meaningless and mundane drivel. Alpha is an android of sorts, however she doesn’t act any different from a human. The writing is lazy because rather than giving her a believable robotic personality the mangaka settled for something more simple. The manga also features little to no dialogue, most of the panels are just scenery shots which are inherently shallow. Like all the “slice of life” manga of its kind YKK lacks any tension or suspense, the exorbitant amount of banalities make it hard to get invested to the story. It’s superfluous yet also empty and meaningless, an empty shell, ruined potential.
Artistically YKK is a mess, the character proportions feature long grotesque limbs, reminiscent of those in CLMAP anime/manga. The paneling is awful and fails to give readers a good sense of location. The character designs are inappropriate, none of the cyborgs look robotic, it’s easy to mistake them for humans. The backgrounds of the manga are not good either, if you want real good backgrounds go read Asano Inio. As I previously stated this manga is nothing more than thinly coated pandering, let me elaborate. YKK makes excuses for fan service by making it fit into the world. In order to exchange information the automatons must mouth kiss. This is nothing more than an excuse to increase sales and pander to otaku scum who lock themselves up in their mom’s basement and read 18+ doujins. Was there no other way for the robots to exchange information? And why must all but one be female? It’s very similar to a harem if you think about it. But in the end, nothing really matters now otakus can read this pandering while thinking they are somehow smart. Contribute to society you degenerates, earn a Engineering degree and build bridges and robots instead of jerking off to them.

NaNa review
I found Nana a very truly amazing anime. The art may not be very detailed at some points but when it is, it looks beautiful. The character development is probably the best I have ever seen. The characters are very unique, funny and good looking at the same time. The story line is a mix of cliche and life, mostly life, and I really like that because i spent a lot of time looking for a good slice of life story. Fun fact: Nana is the is the only anime I have ever cried on, which is a big deal since I have watched and
read Shingeki no Kyojin and have never cried over it. I found the soundtrack one of the best things about Nana. I hava never really been a fan of punk rock but the sountrack of Nana really drew me in somehow. Overall, Nana is a funny, musical, romantic, cliche and heart-breaking ride through Tokyo. I give it a 10.

Dokumushi review
Wow! This was not what I expected. Like most people, I learned about this manga from the anime man, but from his video my impression of the manga was that it was gonna be some subpar garbage "edgy" story with little interesting aspects. Boy, was I wrong!
The only reason I started reading it is because I am a huge horror fan and I was excited to see all the gore and over the top graphic scenes that were hyped up to be there. So far it has been rather tame actually. There are a lot of things that I ended up liking. I liked the whole countdown which gives us a cool sense of progression, I liked the character backstories that fit in with and make sense of their ridiculous personalities, I liked the different interactions, relationships and betrayals developed between the characters, I liked how the plot progressed, I liked the artstyle from how realistic the backgrounds are to how expressive the characters could be when overwhelmed by emotions, I liked the whole poisonous insect folklore thing. And while this manga definitely has a lot of room for improvement (somewhat-generic character designs, not-so-original plot, unrealistic behavior) there are no aspects of it that I would call straight up "bad". In short, this manga is a lot less messed up, and a lot better than I expected. I read both volumes in one go and now I'll gladly wait for the others to be translated. I actually recommend this manga, it doesn't deserve the low rating or the hate for it's "edgyness", which is a criticism I have never taken seriously, especially for horror series.

Sexless Friend review
I only read this manga because I translated sexless as someone who has no genitals (lol) and because some people said the ending is said (note: I hardly ever read any descriptions). Well, after this I thought this would be a great manga, but I was wrong.
The story is about a university student who is scared of women and about a teacher who is afraid of men. They decide to become sexless friends meaning friend who don' t have sex (lol) and try to improve their behaviour towards the other sex. The story is your typical clichéd rom-com, meaning the main characters are incredible clumsy (how many boobs did the male mc touch again?). There's also a nice amount of tragic in it to make the story more interesting. As for the characters, they are your run-of-the-mill type, but I don't think it was meant be another way. Anyways, to make this short: if you enjoy reading rather plain stories and like to see some boobs, you might read it. But if you think this is might worth reading because you got spoiled of the end, don't do it.

17-sai, Natsu.: Seifuku no Jouji review
This manga is truly great!!! It is really enjoyable!! There are four separate stories, three with female leads and one male leads. Each story takes place when the main characters are 17 and is about there unrequited love that they let be know. Each story has you rooting for the characters and cheering them on hoping that they will get the one they love!
So if you need a break from you long mangas, cause I know sometimes I do. This manga provides four short wonderful stories that hit the spot and are really refreshing.

Nightmare Maker review
The thought of dreaming something and reality oftentimes conflict, more so even when we hear things we dont like in reality and escape in our own dream world.
Please note there is a bit of sex in this manga but I feel its pretty necessary at times. The story is about a boy named Uchida who miraculously creates a device that can create an ideal dream for you. Sounds good right? Well its pretty awesome isnt it, after his friend is rejected Uchida gives him the comfort of his machine, slowly and slowly more people start using it. Its clear that he has feelings for his childhood friend, and even his childhood friend was shocked to see that in her dream she had sex with Uchida. However things seemed not to go so smoothly later as reality starts to conflict with the dreams, and many are faced to ask themselves, is this reality or a dream? The characters are all really cool and mysterious, with 11 chapters out so far once this has lots more this will be an amazing series The art is really good IMO, the male looks pretty lame but his personality is very cool All in all I loved this sooo much. I reccomend this to anyone who likes deep things with a little bit of romance, its a really cool thriller

GLEIPNIR review
Even though the story isn't finished yet, this is quality. The backstory within this anime is probably the best backstory I've seen within anime, very detailed and it explores why the main antagonist became the way he did. The backstory paves a way as a challenge towards morality, which is interesting and how reckless we can be as humans, jumping to conclusions and how we can behave like monsters.
The story nicely ties in the idea of duality, with our main character developing because of his other half, Claire, as he's forced to submit to his environment and drop the morals he long wished to hold on to. The designs of the monsters are really good, and although Claire can be quite psychotic, she is definitely one genius, which is a part of her you cannot hate, and the protection she gives to the protagonist. Fight scenes are really good, however the story can be confusing at times, and it is quite easy to lose the plot but overall a good anime, mainly built around an excellent backstory, and portrays ideas of how far we go to claim things we believe is ours in this case it was our protagonists memories, who is quite similar to eren in a way. Also the abilities and power scales are great, so far getting only a few glimpses of how overpowered our antagonist is, and our protagonists Shuichi and Claire.

Mahou Shoujo Site review
This author has a thing for mahou shoujos and extremelly disgusting characters. I found Mahou Shoujo Site after reading Mahou Shoujo of the End. The similarities: a lot of gore, a twisted vision of mahou shoujos and one extremely disgusting character.
While MSotE relies a lot of on its very complicated plot and gore scenes (being a trully horror manga), MSSis all about the characters and their developments. The plot (at least so far) is a lot simplier and less dramatic and the characters are overall way more likeable. There is also way less gore. However, its very enigmatic as well. Why are they given the wands to become mahou shoujos? Whats the tempest really about? Why men can become mahou shoujos as well? Whats the real intentions behind the sites admins? And what are they? The art style is decent. He know how to draw in cute way for cute moments, and how to change the style into something darker for the twisted moments. However, like in MSotE, he just cant draw a sexy woman body. They all look weird when waring more showing clothes, maybe its intentional. It's an overall extremelly enjoyable manga. I've read all the currently available chapters in one go.If you're into darker stories and art ( i'm currently all about these), this manga is for you.
