Hakurai no Kishi review
"I don't even know what's going on anymore..."
In this fantasy of knights, monsters, and suspiciously fish-based country names, everybody is a moron in the best ways. It follows the strange adventures of Zety, an ill-natured bandit, and Lester, a lazy knight of Touna, as they fight other moronic knights, mercenaries, and monsters in their pursuit of supposedly powerful weapons. Story - 6/10 The story serves its purpose for a comedy manga. It's dumb, a bit wacky, and sometimes nonsensical. The setting is purposefully generic and that might be boring for some readers. Overall, it's too early to really judge what the story is going to be like here. Art - 6/10 The backgrounds are detailed and the armored knights look good, but there's nothing particularly great here. The action is decently well-drawn for a comedy manga, but it feels static at times. Character - 8/10 The character designs are good, though a bit odd. The style is expected from the author of Nichibros, As you would expect from medieval knights, they spend a lot of time wearing helmets so it can be hard to tell them apart, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. Overall, the characters are charming in their simplicity and stupidity, and they feel different from the fanservicey archetypes we've come to expect from fantasy. They're great for what's out so far, but it's too early to say if they will or won't develop in the future. Enjoyment - 8/10 Comedy is subjective, of course, but The Knight of White Thunder balances the obvious and the unexpected quite nicely. You'll know if the comedy suits your tastes within ~30 pages. Overall, you should give this manga a shot. It will only take a few minutes to decide if you want to keep going. This review (and score) will be updated as more chapters come out.

Japan review
Stumbled upon this in the maison de la culture du Japon à Paris, a japanese cultural agency quite famous among Japan's lovers here in France.
Il was visiting their shop which is expensive to say the least. ^^' and went "Wow!" Buronson, famous Hokuto no Ken and Sanctuary writer, famous for his manly men PLUS Kentaro Miura, also famous for his manly men? This has to be the team of the year! And at a post apocalyptic story at that! Took it for the sheer awesomeness of theses authors and their duo. And I wasn't displeased. Ok, the story is quite sketchy: it's a social and economical critic of 1992's Japan (this manga was written in 1992 and published in my contry in 2008). You take a Kenshiro/Guts look alike, give him a Casca (the journalist he is infatuated with), a bunch of "who cares about tomorrow?" Japanese youngsters, who are quite dislikable (the two yakuzas are the good guys!!! o_O) and you have them travel by mystical means quite ridculous (a carthaginian magician? Really?Who knows about Japan, at that???) in a Hokuto no Ken background. It's action all the way, with the "normal men" (the journalist and the youngsters) looking after the criminals for advice and protection. The manly hero is very moral for a yakuza, helps japanese people oppressed by the "evil" neo europeans, as Japanese people are picked on for being the country which behaviour harvested most of the tragedy that befell the future. This, I didn't like: this manga reeks of a bit of nationalism (which is normal, as yakuzas are known to often be right-wingers). Europeans are the bad ones and do not think at the least that their beheviour was a bit responsible for the global catastrophe (pitiful. We are as much responsible of global warming, economic disasters and all as the United states and Japan, especially in 1992). In the times of 1992, you can see spanish kids begging the japanses youngsters for money, as would indian kids of today. Even by 1992 standards, that was not a normal behaviour, I can tell you. Spain was poor then, but not so much as this. As for the qualities, I would tell that action is neat, psychological reactions of the bunch of heroes are plausible and that art is great. There is a christic figure which is depicted as kind of ineffective. That is this manga's authors's thoughts, you can tell for sure! The end is quite good, as the hero as a goal in mind which is the right solution to this world's evils. And it's logical for the name he uses for it reveals the utopia he plans to build. Kind of a Hokuto no Ken for the faint of heart, with a social and economic critic which is not subtle at all, but is quite effective, especially, in the light of what we see of Japan's actual crisis, it prooves to be quite prophetic. All in all, a good action manga.

Parallel Paradise review
I started reading the manga before finding out that it was also from the same creator of 'Elfen Lied' & 'Brynhildr in the Darkness'.
And I have to say after finding that out, it made me feel more disappointed; not because I dislike the creator, in fact the opposite. I somewhat enjoyed his other works both 'Elfen Lied' & 'Brynhildr in the Darkness' as they had interesting concepts. In 'Parallel Paradise' it uses the isekai concept which isn't new and has been a trend for a while. I've read up to ch79 and I have to to say, this work pales in comparison to the other two titles I mentioned. The story in 'Parallel Paradise' is very weak, as you'd have already read, it's about a person who goes into another 'world' and is the only man and any female he touches, they just become incapacitated with lust. That is such a strong aspect to the manga it appears pretty much in every chapter which felt like it overshadowed the every chapter whenever you read it. If you actually want to read this, you'll have to trudge through a lot of the chapters before you get to any development in the story. The only interesting aspect so far that has made this isekai manga interesting in the slightest was the little moment that highlighted about going to and from the other world. Besides that, everything else was poor, the pacing, the characters (the art is fine). This is such a different style compared to 'Elfen Lied' & 'Brynhildr in the Darkness' where there was an actual story that you were intrigued to find out about. In 'Parallel Paradise' there is so many sex scenes and so little story that it is baffling it is from the same author. Let's just say it is obvious why 'Elfen Lied' & 'Brynhildr in the Darkness' received anime adaptations because there was a story to show people. There will NEVER be an anime adaptation of 'Parallel Paradise' because there is simply nothing worth showing people.

Karate Baka Isekai review
i had liked this manga for a long while where i figured for an isekai manga i could relate to cause it had a main protagonist who had a well focused personality and sought to use his martial arts for good. however, as soon as the 9th chapter comes, one of the characters whos the king and father of the princess who is on good terms with the main protagonist ends up setting something that could be a trigger to a potential love interest between the protagonist and the princess. like, i wasn't expecting a possibly love interest between these characters not that there was
any to begin with. the princess sees the protagonist as a teacher and admires him for his martial arts skills and hopes to learn from him which you'd figure it would be like they'd have a teacher and student relationship much later on since the the main protagonist modestly says hes not sure of taking any disciples in the beginning chapters while dealing with the important issues focused in the story and its fitting. but to have a character ship them together by making them marry when they are on complete opposites makes me angry and annoyed especially if you're a reader who at least would like to read one action manga with a main protagonist that doesn't have a love interest at all till the end of the story's debut. love interests and shipping characters is overrated and unfitting and i'd like to read horror and action manga that doesn't have for cool, interesting main protagonists thats put in a romantic-like relationship with anyone especially for an isekai genre where most of that is done so many times.

Shinsekai yori review
NOPE. NOPE NOPE NOPE. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.
It's nice and all that the script seems to be largely untouched (even if the characters are husks of their former selves), because the anime (and, presumably, the novel it was based on) is fantastic, but this? This is like if Schindler's List got a comic book adaptation created by Brazzers or something. Why is there so much porn now? Sure, there was a plot point about subtle mind manipulations leading people to bone instead of fight, but that was never meant to be the story's central focus. And are we going to conveniently forget that the characters are 12 years old at the start, and 14 years old during the second major arc? I mean, it's easy to forget that little detail when the girls' tits are bigger than their heads for some preposterous reason. Not only did they shove in unnecessary porn, but with these huge tits, it's not even GOOD porn. Why even bother, then? Why even bother adding porn if it's just going to be grotesquely and laughably inhuman? In other words, a big fat pile of NOPE.

Chicago review
As a fan of Tamura Yumi, i checked it out in hopes of another epic story like 7Seeds or Basara.
As this work seems to be unfinished or abandoned, i write this for the potential it had. Story: the setting is a slightly fururistic tokyo, and our main heroes belong to a special forces team to help save civillians and take on special missions. Its quite an unusual setting for josei, but all the better for it, i think the category needs so much more diverse content than just romance . The story stars with action and is really promising, it would have been great so see more about the 3 main characters and their respective backgrounds. Art: I have to say the style is typical for the author , and i came to love it, even though it is more shoujo-feathery and somewhat fuzzy. Usually i like more clean lines and less saucer-eyes. but it really does not deter from the story, rather i find it is interesting to see a story which has the action, suspense, romance, drama, mystery some seinen or shounen have drawn in this style. its not for everyone though, so i guess for some people this subtracts points from the overall score. Characters: as is typical for Tamura, the main characters are laid out very balanced and come with qualities and faults alike. A think i can never emphasize enough! As only a small amount of chapters have been released, i am sure had it been continued the characters would be really well fleshed out and relatable as seen in previous works by her. I really like that she always has a very strong female lead. this is so important as in the classic shojo/josei there are not many of them. Enjoyment: it was really great to read and i was bummed out that there was not more. the basis for the story is really good and i would have love to see where it wend from there. Overall: I would recommend to read not only for Tamura fans but also for fans of the Josei genre. Its rare to see action, suspense, mystery, drama, romance, all packed into one. i really really wish there were more great stories with a broader set of elements than just plain romance in josei. Even though the art is not for everyone, the story show a ton of potential and, one can only hope it gets redone or continued some day.

Iketeru Futari review
To start with lets get to the characters ,may be i could forget saji but its impossible to forget akira (the female lead) such a great impact she has on the manga and the anime series. For an instance i thought i was seeing fujibayashi kyou from clannad.
When it comes to story saji a perverted guy ends up in bed with the female lead(both are virgins).but there used to be a rumour that akira is prostitute but after that night saji comes to know she is virgin and the dmn rumour is totaally wrong and falls in love with her. But akira(female lead) loves him but never expresses it to him but in some cases she puts her whole hert for him (just like a tsundare). I loved it s i am hoping everyone likes it especially the female led gets a 10/10 from me. ok all the best for ur new favourite character (Akira koizumi)

Ageha wo Ou Monotachi review
- I planned to read this manga cuz someone recommended it to me and it was short so... why not?
Oh boy, it wasn't short enough. I won't even spend more than 5 minutes to write a review, this manga doesn't deserve that amount of time. To sum up: the characters were meeeeeh, the art was one of the worst i've ever seen, the plot itself didn't make any sense (you could think that the autor thought each chapter individually without any prior script), the ending was as bad as the beginning, etc etc. Why didn't i give it a 1/10? Because it was 18 chapters long so I could actually finish reading it before dying of disgust. My recommendations? if you're looking for a good mystery seinen, avoid this at all costs.

Love Survival review
The bitter sweetness of unrequited love.
Story is cute/decent. Sisters, one older one younger. Seri, the younger one, loves her best friend, Kou. Kou loves Seri’s older sister. It doesn’t help the situation that the older sister is beautiful and she feels like the ugly duckling. It’s well written , the worst kind of jealousy is the one you have towards someone you love dearly. You want them to be happy but at the cost of your happiness? Seri’s character is one any one of us can easily relate to, we have all at one point wanted someone or something that we couldn’t have. Or in this case, wanted someone else. What I found really accurate in the manga was the actions the characters take. Mainly the hurt. Seri was hurt constantly by random acts of casualness that the other person didn’t think much of. Everyday things and comments nipped at her. I thought that was very human. It’s basically a short glimpse at love and how you can’t pick and choose who you fall in love with. And that even though some loves end, a better one is just around the corner waiting. The art is basic. There isn’t anything extremely beautiful but there are no major flaws to take from the story. Overall this one shot but nice read.
