One Piece review
Overall :
Ok, before thinking my rating is outrageous, it's true. This is by far the best manga I've ever come across...well Shonen manga that is. The way Oda turns pirates into such an interesting story is amazing. The characters are given personalities that are so unique, you'd love each of them with a different reason! I have absolutely NO idea why I didn't pick up this manga long ago!

Story :
Oh~ The story is kinda repetitive at the beginning. But as you read, you realize that it is not NEAR repetitive. It has all these other mysteries surrounding the main plot, sometimes you are just so curious and want to continue to read on. It slowly reveal to you that being the pirate king isn't as easy as most people would think it is.

Art :
Oh, it takes a while to get used to for some people. But for me, it didn't have to take even a second. Since I'm pretty much an artist myself and I accept pretty much alot of people's art-style. Oda's art is different, but every angle of the anatomy and background and details are very well put together. Alot of people would think it's childish, well, I think it's wonderful.

Character :
AH! The characters...! They are marvelous! I have no idea I can love all the characters so equally! Even Usopp! The guy I didn't really like in the beginning, is starting to grow on me! Their personalities are all so unique~ It's like people in real life, they are never the same~

Enjoyment :
Oh! I enjoyed this manga ALOT. The humor, action, etc. are all so fun and awesome. I cannot describe how much entertainment I got from this manga~! I just WISH that I could brainwash myself and watch One Piece all over again. >_<!

Nanba Deadend review
SPOILERS WARNING

It's rare to have a sequel that's better than the original.

Story: 10
In this series, the main character's secret is in danger of being revealed. The entire time I was reading, I was tensed as if ready to fight a level 70 boss. And when the truth is finally out... You then get your mind blown by the sheer awesomeness of the character development.

Art: 7
The art is better than Nanba MG5 IMO. Still, whether the art is good or bad doesn't spoil my enjoyment for this series.

Character: 10000000000/10
MIND BLOWN!! The character development is so beautiful I'm crying! When the secret is out, the story didn't go downhill and the cliche "how dare you" "you liar" "i hate you" *main guy tries to win ppl's trust again* didn't exist. In this series, his family gets the spotlight, and we sees more about Tsuyoshi's past and understands more about his relationship with his brother. We also sees how his family deals with his lie and how the main girl plays a role in pacifying the situation. Instead of getting mad, his friends understand him and try their best to support him when he was in a dispute with his family. All in all, I'm shocked that this manga has such great character development. It's totally unexpected when I began reading it.

Enjoyment: 10
It's probably obvious that I enjoyed this series very much. Hence it's on my fav list?

Overall: 9
You should read this series. Why? Because you'll learn to not judge a manga by its art.

Sae-ism review
Sae-ism...ho boy, what a roller coaster.

Basically, what we have here is what I can only describe as a mix of various topical elements mashed into a 4 volume manga. That doesn't mean Sae-ism was a bad read, at least in my opinion. But once you do read it, you can sort of understand why I'm describing it the way I am.

The story. The best way I can really describe it is what I said in the beginning. It's a roller coaster, mainly with more turns than either ups or downs. I still found the story enjoyable and unique for the most part, but some parts of it were rather jarring. Not only that, being that it's only a 4 volume manga, things tend to change rather quickly. The story can go one way, then go a completely different route the next chapter, then take yet another route the chapter after that. All in all, the story is confusing, but I still found it interesting.

Despite a few parts feeling off putting to me, the art style is pretty good, especially in other instances. The views they had were really nice, and the characters emotions matched rather well. Although, as I said, there were some moments where some parts didn't really feel right to me.

Predictable, yet enjoyable. I don't really know how else to describe the characters. You got your main girl, your anti-main girl, your guy who hates the anti-main girl for some reason, stuff happens, yadda yadda yadda. Yet there's still some form of uniqueness to them that I sort of enjoy about them.

Despite the constant twists and turns, and ups and downs, I still found myself enjoying this manga. I don't know what possessed me to keep reading, despite the craziness of it all. Probably the sheer curiosity of how much more crazy and insane the story would get. Still enjoyed it, nevertheless.

All in all, I'd give this a try. It's definitely not perfect or groundbreaking by any stretch, but it's still worthy of a look. Just don't expect to come out of it NOT completely bewildered and confused.

Drag-On Dragoon: Shi ni Itaru Aka review
This is my first review ever, so i decided to take on this one.

As a fan of the Drag-on Dragoon series and it's spin-off Nier, i'm sad to say that this is a dissapointment. Spoiler alert incoming:

The Manga takes place almost a century (if i'm not wrong, it's not exact of long it takes place) after the first ending to Drakengard 3 (Drag-on Dragoon 3 in Japan) and One's brother is on a quest for "redemption". Apparently he's killing a bunch of people with his elven partner Nero, who is a sadistic psychopath. Right of the bat, the characters likability drops in the toilet.

I get that the series protagonists has never been pure, innocent, idealistic heroes, as we had the blood thirsty Caim from the first game, The well-intentioned but extreme Father/Brother in Nier, the rebel Nowe in DoD 2, and recently Zero. But the characters were at least likeable. I liked Caim, I liked the father/brother, i liked Zero, but the characters here are just mean assholes.
At least Brother! One has some innocence in him, and consciousness but Nero is just a straight up asshole that makes Arioch and Leonard a saint in comparison.
We know little about him besides that he's Chaotic "you-got-problem good".
And remember, he's one of the good guys, especially in parts where he rapes innocent girls... How did Brother! One even met this guy!? Never explained.

The story and pacing is not much better.
We do get to see some familiar faces from the games, like Caim and his family, and i rather would like to see how it goes for the poor guy.
We do see a nice twist and also meet Legna, the Black Dragon.
But it all feels to rushed, and sometimes, some tragedy could have avoided if it wasn't for Nero's trolling attitude to Brother! One or if he straight up was honest with him. But what bothers me most, is that the Manga just focus on "Hurr durr, dark mature story has lot of blood, gore and lot of sex that makes GoT make a run for it's money". Just because the game was violent dosen't mean the Manga should be 10x more. The characters dosen't get a bit of character development!

The art style however, is pretty good, tough some character model can be of, especially when it comes to the Intoners.
I honestly would like to see more of the artists work in the future.

Overall, i don't recommend it, i CAN'T recommend it. Not even to a fan of this, it's better to read a summary of this than to read the Manga. I couldn't enjoy it.
It's too rushed, too unneccesarily violent and just has messed up content.
It's a mess.

Okite Kudasai, Kusakabe-san review
tl;dr: A sweet and short wholesome story of a boyfriend who just wants to get his girlfriend out of bed. Could've been more fun if it lasted longer but for what it's worth it's a decent read

Story:

Not much too it, pretty much what the synopsis entails. Every chapter consists of the main guy trying his hardest to get the main female to get out of bed (so they can go on a date), with most of the time usually ending up with the guy succumbing to the girl's sleepy desires. Nothing too extravagant, but each chapter does contain unique methods of him trying to wake her up rather than just simply, "Get out of bed"

Art:

Art is pretty solid if you've read any of the author's other works it shares the similar style. The characters look clean and have a nice art style to them

Character:

Probably where the manga is gonna be a make or break. Characters were generally fun to watch together, and there are quite a few cute moments between the 2. There was no melodrama between them and you could genuinely tell they enjoyed being in the company of each other

Enjoyment:

I won't lie that I was kinda expecting this series to run for longer, especially after the events of the "final" chapter which turned out to be a big turning point in the series, so I'm kinda disappointed it had to end so soon. Part of me thinks it has to do more with the publishers choosing to end it rather than the mangaka herself, but overall I think it was a short yet sweet read and a cute romance

Seiten no Hekigan review
You see and read all stories about how hard it is to get a manga published and then this crap ends up on your “plan to read” list so you spend 11 chapters realizing why you’ve never heard of it. Most manga’s tend to follow a pattern of character introduction > problems > goal in mind > working towards goal > resolution. In this case, Seiten no Hekigan (The Blue-Eyed Material), throws cookie cutter characters at you with no character development and kind of tosses them around a bit so they occasionally collide with a wall and make a funny noise that only remind you that there is no purpose or reason for throwing them in the first place.

Seiten no Hekigan was released in October 2013 and is Asaka Takashima’s first manga (and only as of now). The story is about a girl named Natsuki who feels that no one loves her. Unfortunately, her incredible gullible best friend since childhood and her also completely gullible parents, who are willing to buy her just about everything, have failed to bring joy in her life since a tragic and life changing accident that I am still trying to understand what exactly about it is making her depressed. Well japan comes in to play here and a jelly alien falls from the sky and makes out with her. After receiving a humans DNA and learning Japanese through a phone, the alien jelly girl now hangs with Natsuki because plot.

Story:

Looking at the story I could see what the author was trying to go for. And, had it gone well, I think this could have turned out far better than it did. In any story, the characters are placed in a world that is has certain laws. In this world, jelly aliens with super powers exist. The problem is, this world also has really convenient factors that try to fill in the oh-so-many plot holes that riddle each page. To keep things entertaining, the story is constantly trying to keep you on your toes hinting at possible outcomes when the truth is uninteresting and is used to fill in more plot holes.

Score: 4/10

Characters:

I’m not going to say much, the story was short but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t room for character development or at least some interesting characters. All the characters just seemed stupid and were only useful to fill up plot holes. There personalities are so black and white everything they say could have been straight out of another manga. The story attempts to introduce new characters but they only get a page of screen time. It would have been nice to see more depth in these characters instead of having the reader assume their motives behind their actions.

Score: 3/10

Art:

Hoping for a catch? Nope! The art isn’t horrible but it’s not amazing. The backgrounds and scenes are really bland with little to no depth. The characters are also really simple with few features that actually let me tell them apart. I can’t even remember what the main character looks like and I just reread this manga 2 minutes ago. When characters look good, you remember what they look like. But in this case I only remember that one of them has black hair and blue eyes. But only because that was mentioned 20 times in the 11 chapters.

Score: 4/10

Enjoyment:

The total time it took me to read the entire series was 20 minutes, but it felt much longer. I kept checking to see if I was close to finishing it only to see that I still had a good chunk left. Did I enjoy it? No. could I have enjoyed it? No. Is there something deeper about Seiten no Hekigan that I just don’t understand because I lack common intelligence? No. the only good thing I can say is that there were a few parts where I smiled. I think there was one joke in there that I thought was pretty good but I don’t think I had any other facial expression besides ‘bored’ throughout the entire reading session.

Score: 4/10

Overall:

If you got 20 minutes to kill and want to see a great example of “what not to do when making a manga” then you should read this. You can also hop in for the naked scene in the first chapter but nothing even close to a bare shoulder happens again. Also something I feel like I should say, for some reason Myanimelist and most manga sites says there’s 12 chapters when there is only 11. Had the author had more time to work and this I think it would have been really good. But has it stands the thing sucks.

Overall Score: 4/10

Mahou Shoujo of the End review
MSotE is an apocalypse/pandemonium type manga...and it does that really well. An issue in a virtually all action manga (including other similar types) is that one often does not get a true sense of danger/pandemonium. Why? Because you know the characters are being protected by the plot.

It doesn't matter how much danger, chaos, and general killings are happening all around, you know nothing will happen to the main characters, so you never need to wonder if any of them will die next. Because, in most cases, absolutely none of them will die at all.

MSotE throws that out the window. From start to finish, characters are dying left and right, including primary characters. The manga would introduce you to people, then just as soon as you get acquainted and even begin to like them, it snatches them away in a flurry of blood. By the half way point of the manga, one can't helped but think absolutely no one is safe.

...which is EXACTLY how this type of manga should make you feel. For that reason alone, I have come to greatly like MSofE.

Unfortunately, the premise and the daring audacity of MSotE is basically the best part of it. Most of the rest of the manga is standard, but some aspects -- particularly the story and the characters -- could use some work.

I won't get into it in detail, but in short, the story comes off as cheesy when they start trying to become deeper and give an explanation of the events. As for the characters, they go through far too many major changes; it gives off the feeling that the author can't decide on their personality or has a hard time with character development transitions.

Plus, it would be nice if the manga didn't keep putting one of the characters -- a corrupt, murdering, molester rapist cop -- in a heroic light.

But putting that aside, overall, my rating for MSotE is a 7/10. It has its flaws, but for the most part, it is a good manga.
