One Piece review
When i think about one piece, only one word comes to my mind, "wow". i started my journey as an otaku only last year and my first anime was naruto. since then i have watched an awful lot of anime. my friends kept suggesting one piece to me but i was always afraid to pick it up because of its sheer length. But when the pandemic started, i thought it was a good time to pick up on one piece and boy am i glad i did.

Story : (10/10)

The story starts off with a simple goal, Monkey D. Luffy wants to be the Pirate King. As the story progresses, we see that the story which started off with one clear goal in mind, starts blooming into so much more. Its not simply a story about how Luffy becomes the Pirate King. The World of One Piece is so big that the Straw Hat Pirates form only a small part of it. So many events take place simultaneously which have no relation to the SH pirates whatsoever. But they eventually go on to connect and give us one of the best arcs in shounen anime ever.
You would think that such a long running series will deteroriate with time but its the exact opposite for one piece. The manga just keeps getting better and better with every chapter. Now 982 chapters down and I still feel the same. Its such an engaging story that once you get serious about one piece, you can literally breeze through the chapters without feeling anything. And like me, once you catch up with it, you keep wanting more and more.

Characters : (10/10)

Oh man, what can i say about the characters in one piece ? Lets start with the SH pirates. Every character on that ship has such a varied personality and deep rooted back sories that its just plain crazy. Not a single character feels out of place. Every character is important and each one of them have their own individual goals aside from making their captain the Pirate King. Its mesmerizing to follow their progress as they get closer and closer to fulfilling their goals. Their interactions with each other will surely have you laughing every time. Aside from the main cast, Oda goes all out in his characters. At certain points, you start feeling sympathy even for the villains in One Piece. The antagonists in one piece are not villains just for the sake of being evil. They each have their own unique ambitions and goals and Oda explains beautifully why they turned out how they turned out. For example, one the greatest antagonists in One Piece had almost 5-6 chapters of backstory.

Art : (10/10)

I admit the art in One Piece is unique, to say the least. I was reluctant at first but when you start getting used to it, you start to realise that its not at all bad. They seem comical at first but that's not at all the case. One Piece made me cry so many times. The emotions that Oda draws out in his characters are just a sight to behold. They are funny when they have to be, sad when necessary and serious when need be. At the very least, the art style is not something that should keep you from reading one piece.

Enjoyment : (10/10)

Do I enjoy One Piece ? Heck yeah ! I love one piece. I have re read so many chapters of past arcs. I have watched the anime as well. I have watched the movies too. But I just can't get enough of One Piece.

Overall : (10/10)

One Piece is a journey, a journey of a lifetime. So just sit back, and enjoy the ride.

One Piece review
I think we’re all familiar with what a fantastic adventure epic that One Piece is. Oda has created a world that is so brilliantly imaginative and exciting that I can almost confidently say that no other mangaka will come close to matching or surpassing what he has done. One Piece will make you laugh, cry, smile along with all the characters; it will make you feel like living in their world. I won’t review the plot or the battles and such, since that has already been comprehensively well-done by other reviewers, but I just wanted to share one aspect of One Piece that will always stay very close to my heart.

No other manga has given me as much joy as One Piece. During the time I read it, I was very happy. This manga is special because it reminds us of some very important things in life. It reminds us to follow your dreams no matter how hard it seems and what other people say, to stand up for what you believe in and most of all; it reminds us of the power of friendship and human kindness. I think these are all things we tend to give up on and stop believing in as we get older.

One of the messages that had a huge impact on me was that ‘No-one is born into this world to be alone’. No matter how lonely you feel, you have to hold on to life and hang in there for people who will love and accept you. You might not meet them now, but you will eventually. I’ve never had many friends, and only formed a few close relationships with people. I’ve never found anyone whom I can call a true friend. For people like me, this message is very powerful and can lend a lot of strength. I think it is wonderful that a manga can convey these kinds of pure, hopeful feelings.

And that is one of the amazing things, perhaps even the most amazing thing, about One Piece. It gives you a sense of real, genuine joy as you read it. It really touches your heart. That is why it has managed to captivate thousands, millions of readers around the world, and why it will continue to be one of my most favourite mangas ever.

COIN LAUNDRY NO ONNA review
Coin Laundry no Onna is a humorous, gag-based series that follows the life and times of Maoko, a Sadako-like girl who receives much pleasure in scaring the customers of her laundromat.

The manga is presented in an episodic fashion, with each chapter following Maoko and the supporting cast through a variety of different misadventures and aspects of life. The chapters range in length, with the shortest only four pages long. The author doesn't allow the manga much breathing room, with each plot proceeding at a lightning-fast pace, but such is the nature of a gag-based series. Comedy is the sole genre, with the author churning out the laughs in quick succession. The humour itself is outrageous (not so dissimilar to the likes of Gintama and Cromartie High School); it's both well implemented and superbly executed, allowing the manga to stay at an enjoyable level throughout. One may wish the manga had more substance, but it's simply not the avenue the author was going for. Instead, Hiro Kiyohara presents a quick-fire comedy series that doesn't dwindle; each chapter is distinct from the next and above all else, they're enjoyable.

The artwork ranges throughout; the first chapter has noticeably more detail than the subsequent additions, with Maoko's design taking a bit of a hit later on. Still, in the larger frames, chapter introductions and page spreads, Hiro Kiyohara often delivers to a very high standard, with Maoko's horror reenactments and scare tactics being of particular note. But a number of scenes do come across as simplistic; lacking in background and detail.

The characters - Maoko in particular - are the life and soul of the series. Since humour takes precedent over any sort of depth or development, they're generally rather one dimensional, but remain consistently enjoyable, captivating and loveable throughout. Maoko is a wonderful enigma and ever-interesting to follow, and while the rest of the cast are very stereotypical, the comedy offers them life and enthusiasm. Still, it would have been nice to have a more involved and firmly established cast. Certain character traits - and even some characters in chapter fives case, which features none of the recurring personalities, but instead introduces a separate cast who are never seen again - come and go like a tumbleweed in the wind. Authors of manga such as School Rumble and Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei successfully delve into their characters while maintaining a steady flow of comedy, but unfortunately Coin Laundry no Onna's length doesn't allow it the same privilege.

The manga's length is what prevents it from standing out; given more time and substance, I can't help but feel the series would have come into its own. Nevertheless, Coin Laundry no Onna is an enjoyable compilation of outrageous comedic situations, with wonderful characters and many stand-out segments. It's a marvellous read; I just wish there was more.

Legend of Lemnear review
Legend of Lemnear is a fantasy manga illustrated by Urushihara Satoshi and Yoshimoto Kinji (who contributed with the story). It was serialized from 1991 till 1992 and adapts the OVA with the same name from 1989. The story is stretched out so that the fans would enjoy more Lemnear, but it works for manga readers-only too. Structured into 18 chapters, fit into 3 volumes, all resulting in a complete story. (It's a bit different than the OVA).

The term "Swords and Sorcery" describes the manga best, we have action, magic, a medieval-like world, evil slave traders and brave knights who fight monsters. You could imagine this story as a Star Wars set in a medieval magical world, for we have the chosen one (Lemnear) who has to defeat an evil antagonist (Darth Vader) with her latent "Power" (kinda like the Force), joined in her travels by some interesting people. At the start of volume 1 the reader gets some background about the world and how did it become like that, all the stuff regarding the chosen ones and the good vs evil constant fight. It was a nice piece of information and you get the sense of urgency in wanting to defeat the villains, I think it set the right atmosphere.

Now, you can forget all that, the plot is cool and all but this manga's appeal is somewhere else, the potential reader should not read it for the epic story but for the cool and mindless action fights, blood and violence, chicks with swords, tragic deaths and beautiful sexy shots. I do not exaggerate when I say that every chapter has at least one fight and one panel where we see our main heroine half naked, and it's a delight.
It's a very easy read, one volume may take one hour to finish, it would've been faster if the reader wouldn't pay attention to the boobs and ass of Lemnear, but what can you do, Lemnear is hot (yes, we get to see her nipples too). It's pretty fast-paced too, one chapter we're in a town relaxing with the locals, then by the end of it we're fighting monsters, even some henchman comes to fight, Lemnear suffers heavy injuries only to recover by the next chapter and start over (she has some sorta regenerative powers because she's a chosen one though). I don't think it needed a slower pace, it works as it is, our party only have to reach some place where the big evil guy has his Head Quarters and beat him, along the way they fight some small fries and get though traps, they tie friendships and reunite with things from their past. Straight forward and easy to follow.

The art style is gorgeous, kinda like 80s anime style with the detailed background, you get the sense of location, every town is nicely drawn and it looks like a medieval Europe town. The nature is beautifully drawn too, forests, ponds, rivers, mountain crosses, that's the world of Lemnear.
The character designs look good too, the girls have the big 80s hair, the boys are tall and have muscles, their armors are cool. Urushihara Satoshi is not called "The Master of Boobs" for nothing, the female anatomy is superbly drawn, a feast for the eyes for the readers who like manga with sexy scenes and characters, and the action scenes are nice too with an energetic battle choreography, mostly sword fights and energy beams shooting. The only downside of the art style that I didn't like is that there are too many close-ups with the characters, almost all panels have close-ups (even when they are just talking), it looks good but I wouldn't mind if I could see two people in the same panel for once (I exaggerate but after a few chapters anyone would notice that).

What can I say about our main heroine Lemnear is that she's a nice girl, gentle and kind, very beautiful too yet she is thrown into this madness against her wishes. She has to fight for the sake of the world and she has the power to do so, she is the "Chosen One", the female version of Luke Skywalker, but she's cool. She has dreams and she even loves someone, she makes a friend while journeying, she puts feelings into whatever she's doing. I think she's very interesting and a likable character, you may argue that she's over powered (Mary Sue) but it's not the case, she's not a true knight, she can barely fight with a sword and during the fights she always gets heavy injuries, she manages to win because of her "Power", but why not? it's a cool gimmick and it's the base of this manga, how else could the warriors of Good defeat Evil? (who are extremely over powered).

The other characters are interesting too, each one of them has a nice story to tell, be it Lian (who has a small character arc), Lunagu or Mesch and they really help Lemnear towards her goal. Lunagu is a powerful magic user, Lian has some tricks and Mesch is an honorable and very skilled knight (and Lemnear's childhood friend).

I don't think this manga is for everyone, like I said above, we get lots of sexy shots and the girls are naked in almost all chapters, lots of out of the blue fights and weird developments, tragic deaths that may look over sentimental and exaggerated, pompous speeches about good vs evil. It is by no means a parody of the battle fantasy genre, it is serious as it gets but it has that cheesy feeling. I read it because I really enjoyed the anime and I wanted more Lemnear and the manga did its job, I got exactly what I wished for. Characters like Lian and Mesch are expanded more, which is good, because in the OVA they had little screen time. In this format their journey is longer and they fight more monsters, the end fight was really great, the final villain was one dimensional at the beginning but he was more than it looked like (not that it matter but it was another little thing that made the manga better).

In conclusion, read it if you like 80s OVAs with violence and nudity or if you enjoyed Legend of Lemnear OVA and you want more developed and coherent story, the art style is superb and it's very easy to follow. Or, if you wanna see naked chicks with swords, be sure to check this one out.

Hakuba no Ouji-sama review
I rounded up rating in biased fashion simply because i want scanalators to take notice fo it.....I'm sorry
As per usual some spoiler like rant with warning sign of course.

Story 8/10

Well it is definitely what tags say Romance, School, Slice of Life, Seinen + Josei(my opinion since author is a woman so she can actually delve deeper in female psyche, which she does)
Story so far till 68 was a highway for me i didn't notice how I got to chapter 68 (last chapter by this date), it definitely is Slice of Life about romance between a man and a woman who incidentally are teachers (look how it fits the tags).
Story progresses in natural rhythm (A high praise since damn it is a rare sight when you see story progress being so natural it doesn't seem artificial (well almost).
Story itself is a hard moral dilemma that we see often in adult life it may seem easy to answer while you look at it from a safe distance but when you are in it well it gets too complicated so resolving it with few turns is quite hard. Even though it's half of the manga already i cannot see one straight path of how author would resolve this manga (actually a good thing). There is this natural flow, leaves falling while you talk to your friend while people across the block are gossiping and next to them an old madam is selling her homemade dessert you cannot see it in manga but you can feel it somehow, main leads are simply one of those ant workers in this great big ant colony called Nippon.
You can experience female thought pattern here as for male one it's on the lighter side here though not incorrect. So far 8/10 if it will got by one route i suspect it will be 9/10 though 10/10 is almost impossible by this moment.

By the way there are netorare/netore moments but it's more complicated it's more like cheating and not your classical ntr but more ordinary cheating in whatever case i dislike NTR of any kind mostly this one SO FAR is an exception.

Art 7/10

Characters are more or less detailed art style is somehow appealing yet may scare some people off, attention to details is good background art isn't lazy. Panel placement is ok seen better speech bubbles well it's ok/good but there were moments where i would guess who talks to whom.

Characters 8/10

We have Female Lead(FL) Male Lead (ML) Support Little Sis (SLS) Support Spikey Teacher (SST). Supporting cast and background cast live their lives while sometimes they meddle with FL or ML life (For the most part you see more people are meddling and sabotaging then helping).
FL is an 32y old teacher with mysterious past (only few fragments are shown), she is human like, female like(that's rare mangas usually show personality extremes or Mary Sues), she is a sinner who tries to reform but don't judge her straight away there might be a major subtext there (if i speculate correctly about the route this story will take on). She is conflicted and shy when it is appropriate (in her situation i would be +/- the same as would many other people), she is charming but also stained with the sinners mark which resurfaces sometimes she tries to valiantly fend off from it but alas cracks are showing (kinda like it though). Quirky and dependable, didn't see any malice in her as for her sin there is most likely a side story which could most probably take make us pity her (i sure hope so). She doesn't initiate for the most part though her mind is a thunderstorm.
ML well he is quirky guy with his own set of problems and he is kinda nothing special up to this point even worse he seems like a guy who is simply drifting on a raft in open sea without any sense of direction only relying on the wind though (relationships/love life). He seems a little bit innocent and ignorant yet not stupid or dense simply conflicted i would be too if i were in his shoes actually (below overall in spoiler section i will rant about it). it's hard to talk about him since he is well boring to a degree and without spoilers there isn't much to tell.
SLS teenager girl with childhood trauma which affects her, ML and FL. Bratty like behaviour (spiteful or like a hornet i guess) she has her moral compass which isn't bad but she is still a child and doesn't realize that she is steering ML in a possible direction of her trauma being recreated.
SST well i guess stoic like old guy who has some family problems or may be had them from the very start (you will learn later on why a came to this conclusion). Would i call him a bad guy for now no maybe only egoistical (though mature ego where he doesn't impose much but waits out). Average joe who wants to be normal in the eyes of society i guess.
All in all character growth present you see that after facing conflicting situations main cast tries to change and adapt not so good for supports who have set traits from the start and continue to push their wants.

Enjoyment 10/10

I have started reading and didn't notice that time flew by, i was immersed in it while my brain was working on solving moral dilemma myself which this manga imposed upon me usually my brain starts to work and questions everything from story to characters (plot holes, unrealistic, one dimensional fools and etc.) but this time brain worked within the frames of this manga not trying to escape from fantasy world. Rare for so i stand and applause this author so far, though this might drastically change.

Overall 9/10

It's a good mature manga no action simply life flowing by, art is appealing and character look real.

SPOILER ALERTEN!!!

Well we have here ML 25y old office worker who changed professions (150h of unpaid overtime like f you japanese society i would also be a suicide victim after experiencing slavery like that, thank god they "elites" started to think that suicide rate going up and fertility going down is bad), before starting his work his girlfriend leaves for england to study for one year and to ensure that he doesn't cheat she decided to get engaged with him (Yes she later on she decided to marry him just like that MC is like ohh okay never really understanding where he is going but starting to realize that it might actually be not what he wants but what his surroundings want)
Next we have FL who is 32y old who had a long affair with a colleague who was once her teacher but and who has family. She comes to realize (i think) that being 32y old is bad already and being a mistress without a prospect of marriage and children is bad for her so she decides to stop this affair (i suspect she relapses every so often when she fails). And we are at the moment where she decided to stop this and our ML serves as a reason and a barrier for her though SST is a dick who doesn't give a two flying f about her side maybe he is interested in her but mostly physically since his social standing is more important and hurting and leaving a gal lonely and alone is ok in his book (i doubt that he would commit to divorce after so many years and older he gets the lesser the chances become).
Lastly we have SLS a child a bratty hornet who tries to do almost everything do destroy the romance between ML and FL whilst actually helps to create situations where ML and FL meet but creates a barrier for them since she was traumatized in childhood when ML and SLS parents divorced now she tries to project this on her brother ML or rather prevent what happened to their parents but not understanding that MC doesn't actually love his girlfriend he simply acts the role whilst not being truly in love thus creating a potential disaster for divorce and repeating the same pattern. She is forcing relationships to hold firmly and tries to attack both ML and FL by blackmailing, revealing secrets, spreading rumors and etc. I would probably cut my ties with her altogether though i may be a smart ass now but being in ML shoes like i stated above i would most likely also be conflicted from one side you want to follow through and be dependable husband since well you have to be an upstanding fellow and take up responsibility from the other side you start to understand that you might actually not like the idea of being with someone till death due us apart because you are used to the girl but not in love actually, while understanding why sister is sticking her nose.
Damn it's sad that scanlators dropped it so now i have 3 choices learn japanese, pay other scanlators or wait for magic to happen, third option being the easiest but likely to fail while 1st one being the hardest but also most high yielding (so many mangas and LN to finish)
