Koe no Katachi review
Story:
The idea for this story is something so real, and it's about a guy doing something that so many of us wish we had the guts to do. He has become a victim of bullying as a result of bullying a girl until she had to drop out of school, and now he wants to apologize to her. Whether or not he actually deserves to be forgiven is up for debate. You see the cruel things he did to her, and the cruel things done to him in turn. It's hard to sympathize with the terrible things he did, yet at the same time you find yourself feeling sorry for him.

Art:
The artwork was pretty different from that to which I am accustomed, but I got used to it pretty quickly. It's not bad, but unique, and it's done nicely in its own unique way.

Character:
While some characters are pretty two-dimensional, most of them have more depth. This story deals with something so simplistic and turns it into a plot. What is that simplistic thing? Kids are cruel. They lack sympathy and do terrible things to people in order to have fun. Sometimes the only way for them to understand that they're a bully is by becoming a victim.

Enjoyment:
I've never quite understood the "slice of life" genre before. What constitutes as "slice of life"? It's fiction, so how am I supposed to relate to it? This manga was what finally made me understand the genre. While it's circumstances are extreme, it deals with something so real. To whatever level it was done, when you were a kid, you were probably bullied, and like it or not, you probably WERE the bully at points. I know I was. I always thought I was being bullied, and it's true that I was. Though when I look back at some of the things I did, I was also a bully, for no other reason than the fact that my peers and I thought toying with people's emotions was fun.
Reading this manga made me want to go back in time so I could apologize to the people I hurt, because I know how much it hurt. The cycle of bullying shifts, and the bully becomes the victim, and the victim becomes the bully. Over time we regret, and we beat ourselves up for that. In the end, sometimes the person who bullies you the most is yourself. This manga cuts deep; it hits close to home, and you can't help but be curious as to see what happens next, and there is likely at least one character you'll be able to relate to.

Solo Leveling review
Different Readers, Different Demands, if you seek a story that's well crafted, deep, brilliant character development, this is possibly not the manhwa for you, but think of it this way, there are generally 2 types of films, there are popcorn flicks, movies that boast an incredible budget and produce extraordinary spectacles, think of the MCU, Mission Impossible, John Wick, and then we have movies that don't necessarily have extraordinary special effects, maybe not a high budget, but is highly praised for its story, for its character development, perhaps The Godfather, perhaps Psycho, you get the idea, now, Solo Leveling is a manhwa equivalent of a popcorn flick, the manhwa does not have a deep intricate story or brilliantly paced character development, but if there's one thing it gets right, is that it's the ultimate fanservice, the art is glorious, and the author knows how to hype, as a reader of many isekai manga and also lots of crappy cultivation manhua, the capabilities of Sung Jin Woo is revealed to the reader in a way that makes us go "damn, what a badass" and not come off as cringe, and I can't forget the art, the art is absolutely glorious, the wide panels especially, ah god, amazing, so basically, if you just want a good time, turn your brain off and read some power fantasy comics from the holy trinity (Japan's Isekai, China's Cultivation, Korea's Monster Hunter) Solo Leveling is an absolute must-read, but if you're expecting an amazing story that rivals that of tower of god or something 20th Century Boys or something, it just ain't for you

Shingeki no Kyojin review
*DISCLAIMER: There are spoilers ahead for chapters 91-130*
Shingeki no Kyojin, what a series it is. After watching seasons 1-3 of the anime, I couldn’t help but continue through the manga, but I didn’t expect to be so blown away by the amount of crazy things that happen throughout the Marley and War for Paradis arcs as of so far. From Gabi killing Sasha to the rumbling and Eren’s Founding Titan form, SnK chapters 91-130 pack major heat, and there’s no signs of slowing down in the future.

Story: 10/10
For me, the story was near perfection. We get to see how each of our beloved characters have evolved since earlier, but we also get to see a slew of new and enticing characters. The thing that really made the story for fantastic for me, however, was the constant questioning of who the enemy truly is. At first, it seems clear, Marley is the enemy, but as you go deeper, you get to see how Eren’s intentions for the rumbling, Historia, etc. are vastly different from the others, and it creates a new common enemy for both the people of Marley, Eldia, and the world. The Yeagerists. We get to see how these people come together against the biggest threat to the entire world, and although the manga hasn’t finished yet, I’m sure Isayama has a lot more planned for the story and how it will evolve. One of my favorite things about Isayama, however, is his genius in showing us so many things in front of our eyes without us suspecting a thing. An example of this is from SnK’s 4th anime ending. We see Historia fall into water as she reaches for Ymir’s hand, similar to how Ymir Fritz fell into the water that made her become the original Founder. Isayama loves to hint at things within something as small as an ending, yet it makes the story that much better for me, as it shows how figures of the past relate to the present day.

Art: 8/10
I feel for the amount of things that happen at once throughout SnK, the art is very good. There are times when there’s so much going on, an example being Paradis’s raid on Marley, yet there is still so much attention to detail, down to every piece of rubble. I’m not one to be able to critique manga art, however, due to the fact that this is the only manga I’ve read, but from I read, I thought that it was very well done.

Character: 9/10
The characters in this portion of SnK encompass every angle of the ongoing conflicts. We get to see how characters, such as Gabi, evolve from being warriors, killing and massacring the proclaimed “island devils”, into being someone who understands who the Eldians truly are, not a race of devils, but humans. We get to see how every single character evolves, whether it be for good or bad. For me, the character development is perfectly captured through a quote by Eren. “You are not a slave. You are not a god either. You are just a human being.” We get to see how every character changes their perspectives on one another. At first, they saw each other as devils without emotion. But as time went on, they realized that they were just like them. Human beings.

Enjoyment: 10/10
For me, SnK chapters 91-130 were incredible. I found myself gawking at the amount of crazy things that happened. I was screaming at my screen as I read. I shared in the emotions each character had. Each chapter had something new for me to consider, and as I read, I kept being blown away by the amount of amazing, exciting, and interesting things. One of those jump out of my seat moments was the awakening of the wall titans. Watching Eren and Zeke go through each memory, and seeing Eren talk to Ymir, it all had me stunned. By the time Eren’s Founding Titan form began showing, while the wall titans began to become free, I was completely frazzled. The amount of times that chapters 91-130 made me feel that was amazing, and it made my enjoyment levels so much higher.

Overall: 10/10
SnK chapters 91-130 weren’t flawless, but with the amount of elaborate story telling, character development, action, and just incredible moments, I believe that it deserves a 10/10. SnK has made me look at other anime and manga differently. SnK, for me so far, is peak manga/anime. It continues to keep me drawn in, always awaiting more to come. Isayama continues to shock me with every chapter, and because of his brilliance, I give SnK chapters 91-130 a decisive 10/10. (Note: this was my first “proper” review, so I’m sorry if I messed anything up)

Zenei no Archer review
This is a oneshot, so it only has one chapter.
It has potential I guess, but so far it's just mediocre.

-I like Yoichi, he is the standard cool dark hero, but I like him, works every time.
-The humor is kinda funny.
-I like the art , I think it's good as it is.
-I like how it's possible to make a bow so durable and shoot it with such a force. Maybe some kind of haki or just firm material? Anyway IF it's implemented in a good way it can be good.
-I like the varied monsters and the seemingly extensive adventurous world with endless possibilitys.

But it has a lot of flaws:
-Ryu's father was once the strongest, therefore he will be way stronger than Yoichi someday. Ryu is now a loser, so it's the standard from zero to hero saga.
-I don't know if it's just about the Wenkamui or if the arc about them does continue for a while longer, but they're kinda similar to chimera ants.
-Lets make a peaceful world for us 3 childhood friends although we haven't seen each other for a longer time than we've known each other but we haven't made any new connections and are still so close. I think that's kinda silly and also feels familiar.
-And the worst and only totally intolerable flaw of them all is the allmighty sword, that chooses a blessed random person in a wondrously way. I hate it when a story is build on such an absurd principle.
It's boring when someone is the chosen one and gets carried in such a manner. NO ONE except the chosen one can defeat all evil...

Imawa no Michi no Alice review
Imawa no Michi no Alice, or Alice in Border Road is a spin-off/sequel to Imawa no Kuni no Alice, or Alice in Border Land. Throughout this review, when comparing/refereting one another I'll mention them as "Road" and "Land".
Alice in Border Road is a Stand-Alone story, using the story and elements set on Land and using them to create something completely new. All of the characters are different between stories, and despite using some common elements, the ideia behind Land and Road are incredibly different. In Land a couple thousand people gather every night in hopes of finishing death games to survive longer in Borderland, a destroyed Tokyo. When finishing these games they receive cards, which they don't really know the meaning of.
In Road, 12 people find themselves in a destroyed Kyoto, each with a card, and try their best to find themselves a meaning and a objective to what they are doing there.
Road can be enjoyed on it's own, but the consequences of what is happening and why are in direct consequence with the plot twist in Land, which means that if you didn't read that one first, if you read it afterwards your enjoyment may be reduced.
I wouldn't say that this story is overall better than Land, but it does have some points that I think are better. First of all, we are not introduced with a bunch of characters that are only there to be cannon fodder to whatever new game is happening. In here, the entire cast of characters are introduced from the get go, and everything that happens after that is consequence of the actions of one or more of those 12 characters. We get to see friendships be created and destroyed as characters start growing and relationships start changing, trust and doubt ever flowing between them. Other thing that you may notice is that, despite the writer being the same, the artist is different. Now I understand that some people may preffer the art in Land, but I do think that Road's art is better and more clean. It's not amazing, but it's an improvement.
Having that in mind, the single thing that can make or break this story is the characters. And it's here that I think Alice in Border Road loses the chance to be better than Land. By no means are the characters bad, but most of them are decent enough and there's enough variety in them to provide interesting interactions between them, which is the most important, but there isn't really any character that stands out as being particularly good, nor their past that interesting, which is something I did think Land had here and there.
But all in all, to simply say that Alice in Border Road is worst than Alice in Borderland is making this manga an injustice. It dared do something completely different from the original source and it was a risk that for the most part payed off, and on it's own it's a pretty entertaining manga.

Tokyo Mew Mew review
(This includes A La Mode, too)

Tokyo Mew Mew has a lot of sentimental value to me as an anime fan. I actually knew that it was called Tokyo Mew Mew before 4Kids licensed it and changed the name to Mew Mew Power. I watched said dub religiously until it got unceremoniously cancelled. Furthermore, Tokyo Mew Mew was the very first anime I ever watched in Japanese, way back in 2005, but to this day, I still haven't finished watching the entire series (I do plan on rectifying this within the next year though). It's also the first real right-to-left manga I ever read and bought in its entirety, though I randomly started with volume 3, which I found at my local Borders before it was changed to a Books-A-Million. I still own all the volumes of Tokyopop's release of the manga, A La Mode included, and just recently, I re-read the whole thing. I still like it, but I'm not gonna lie, it's kinda silly and cliche, and nothing really worth gushing about.

The story begins with a young girl, Ichigo Momomiya, going on a date with her classmate, Masaya Aoyama, at an endangered animal exhibit. Later on, when a strange light suddenly engulfs her, she finds herself acting like a cat: Saying meow, sleeping more than she usually does, eating fish, landing on her feet when she jumps, and sometimes, she grows cat ears and a tail! As it turns out, she and four other girls were injected with the DNA of Red Data Animals, made into a form that allows them to become animal themed magical girls. The Mew Mews have the power to defeat parasitic aliens called Chimera Anima, normal animals mutated into monstrous beings. As part of the secret Mew Project, the masterminds recruit the girls to save the world from aliens that threaten to destroy it, while making them into waitresses serving at a cute cafe as a cover. But all Ichigo wants to do is be with Masaya and have a normal romance!

As much as I want to love on this manga, as it means a lot to me personally, I can't let nostalgia blind me to its faults, and I wouldn't be a good critic if I did that, now would I? The artwork is at the very least competent, with the characters having wide, sparkly eyes, reasonably proportioned bodies, and cute chibis used for comedic moments. The costume designs, while simplistic, are good and devoid of unnecessary embellishments. But I won't lie, Mia Ikumi's art is rather unpolished. At various points throughout the manga, the art style tends to flip flop in quality. Sometimes, the characters are outlined with bold, dark lines while other parts of them, such as hair strands, don't look as though they've been inked properly, with lots of missing spaces. There are other times when the characters' Mew Mew marks randomly go missing or are in the wrong places on their bodies. Furthermore, her chibis tend to be really weird looking, with characters' heads made even bigger than is appropriate, with their bodies looking either like sticks or jelly.

But the artwork isn't the only issue Tokyo Mew Mew has. Personally, I feel the manga's biggest flaw is its characterization. To put it simply, all of the focus is solely on Ichigo, nobody else, and the other four main characters get little to no focus or any kind of meaningful development whatsoever. They're mostly just used as props to support Ichigo, never getting any time in the limelight, nor do the readers ever get any insight into what they're like outside of fighting crime. This is one issue the anime managed to rectify, as not only were the producers given 52 episodes to work with, they managed to give any character who's not Ichigo much more development and flesh them out more than the manga attempted (Except for Zakuro, who still doesn't get much focus). Say what you will about filler episodes in anime, but the anime for Tokyo Mew Mew recognized the manga's flaws and made optimal use of its run time to give each member of the ensemble their just dues, even the villains. The sequel manga, A La Mode, exacerbates the manga's disinterest in developing its side characters by kicking Ichigo to the side and focusing on a new character and nobody else. From what I've heard, Ikumi did want to do more with Ichigo's teammates and write stories that fleshed them out and gave them more development, but apparently, higher ups told her not to do so and practically browbeat her into shilling the new main character, Berry, for all she was worth and nothing else. That's...kinda sad, really. I personally don't hate Berry, as I've encountered characters in other media that are FAR more deserving of hatred than her, but I do feel the criticisms she gets is valid, and I'm more inclined to see Berry as just a product of really bad executive meddling. As for the characters themselves...they're fine, but again, the manga's disinterest in fleshing out anyone who's not Ichigo makes them come off as cliche, bland archetypes and not much else, and Ichigo herself isn't a very interesting character, even by magical girl standards.

As for the story itself, at the time the manga was published, magical girl shows never tackled themes such as animals and environmentalism before, so Tokyo Mew Mew became well known for challenging the status quo in that manner. But Tokyo Mew Mew just seems to wear its environmentalism themes like a hat, not doing much else with it other than giving the characters animal DNA and having the villains wreck the environment every now and again. Some anime fully embrace the themes and motifs they go for, conveying the appeals of the subject matter at hand and inspiring a desire to know more (An example being Heartcatch Pretty Cure with its intense focus on botany and fashion, or if you're looking for non magical girl examples, Laid Back Camp's focus on ground camping during winter) while integrating them into its setting. Tokyo Mew Mew doesn't really try to explore the issues and themes beyond scratching the surface, so it comes off as more window dressing than anything. That being said, Tokyo Mew Mew still revels in comfortable magical girl tropes and cliches, playing everything safe and not really trying to break new ground.

It really says something when an anime adaptation turns out to be better than its source material. Though rare, Tokyo Mew Mew's manga is one of those. It had the potential to be great, but it's inconsistent characterization, tacked on themes, cliche premise, unpolished art, and misuse of its time and resources make it little more than average. Just check out the anime, as not only is it longer, but fixes many of the manga's problems.

Spray King review
So far there are only 5 chapters of Spray King translated, so the only thing I can say is that I see a lot of potential with this story. This review will not be very thorough, I aim for this to be my first impressions of the manga and to drag new reader's attention.

This manga leeks of a shonen adventure story, yet it cannot be easily described. The first five chapters consisted of about 45 pages each, dealing with the encounters of the underground hero Spray King and yet an underlying story. When you first read the manga you might think of it as something extremely stereotypical, a good guy fighting for good and a bad guy trying to mess with him; however, as the story progresses, the relationships between the characters appear to deepen and lead towards an unexpected route. I emphasize again that I have just read the first 5 chapters, so I have really no idea of how the plot is going to turn, but something i have realized is that the story deepens and gets more interesting with each chapter. This is definitely a series that I will keep my eyes on.

-Story-9- It is interesting as of now, but I am sure that it will get better
-Art-10- The art is what first drew me into the manga, the graffiti are spectacular and every scene is extremely clear and easy to understand. There is also the shonen feeling you get from reading One Piece and other mainstream mangas.
-Character-8- As of now, all characters are veiled in mystery, but you can clearly grasp where they are coming from and who they are. I chose to give it an 8 just because they seemed stereotypical, but not in a bad sense.
-Enjoyment-8-Although I can imagine myself getting annoyed if i marathon this manga if more chapters were to come out, as of now I think this is a really enjoyable manga and a good change of pacing from those gag, romance or psychological mangas.

Overall: 8 - just because there has only been 5 chapters translated.
