TETSUICHI review
High in the mountains, there lives 2 Gods, brothers you might say, Yonagahiko and tetsuichi. However Tetsuichi is special, he moves around like a human where as Yonagahiko has a body of a serpent, a face of a human as beautiful as it is...

We witness the movements of Tetsuichi as we watch him move around the mountains, never to be able to leave from this place and the wanting to go to the outside world, but will Yonagahiko let him, to leave his side?

Do not angry the Gods because you will regret it.

Reading this i feel as if i have been trapped into a historical environment. As if i have gone back in time. It gives off the feeling as if you are there. The scenery grasps me in and with the God like creatures that i've seen its very beautiful and very well thought out by the mangaka.

The mangaka has given us a range of characters, from being small to being gigantically tall in the eyes of a God. The mangaka shows us the mysteriousness of the characters and makes us guess if they have good intentions or not.

However, speaking honestly, it has been dragged. With a mild flick of dialog for you to read could be a bit tiring, but gets better in the next fewer chapters and with loads to read as promised.

I would say i have enjoyed this and will be anticipating more of the up coming chapters. A mixture of historical and supernatural happenings, this will be a beautiful read, it's refreshing and drags you into a world of fantasy.

Seiheikyuu EX review
This manga was enjoyable - I am sure I will read it again and given my schedule that actually means something! I have gone on to break down each gradiant individually - but overall the manga is well worth the time!

This is one of the better post apocalyptic stories I have read. It's not a violent story, residual gore only. What's left of humanity lives side by side with androids, who are indistinguishable from humans. Humans put into cryogenic sleep randomly awaken, and must ive in the new world. The story of the world they live in is thoughtful and well-reasoned, and above all, BELIEVABLE. Not always the case, IMO.
There was a huge ten year delay from start time to finish, it is evident the author wanted to do more, but had constaints due to outside circumstances. I felt the weakest part was the " they lived happily ever after ending". This is a rich world that could benefit from more volumes. I would look forward to revisiting this series or a spin-off!

Art was a nice mix of clean , crowded, busy, simple, and indistinct. Signs in the background you can almost read, literally faceless crowds of people, empty, featurelss rooms.
A drawbacks of the artwork is the androgynous nature of the characters. I often found myself with NO CLUE as to who was male or female, and even the main characters lacked distictness.
I also found transitions to be abrupt and jumpy - scenes changed and I felt I had no idea I was in another town, situation, etc.

Characters were the weakest part of the story. I found them to be a little one dimensional, and indisctict in their personalities. Although refreshing to be in a world where not every woman looks like a centerfold, nothing about the way the characters look or act gives any indication they are female. I seriously wondered if part of the poblem in the new world was a lack of women. It was only the introduction of a character bio in Vol 3 that helped me know who was who.

Overall enjoyment was high - I will only benefit from a reread of the series, and look forward to visiting it again as much as I anticipated reading it the first time.

With a few tweaks - I could rate the series a ten. Characters, the choppines of the transitions, and the abruptness of the ending draw the final score down, but it is a testament that even the flaws keep this series at a 9 for me.

Clickbait: The Manga

Story: MC lives a shitty life that was caused by his own laziness. He 'rebirths' in the worst way possible, after getting a second chance at life. Honestly, the story isn't anything new, but the way the author tackles it is fairly unique. Basically, instead of actually trying to 'remake' his life in a meaningful way, he decides that he's just going to try and sexually assault his childhood friend. He thinks about doing something actually worthwhile for a total of one whole page. The story spirals downwards from there. It's a unique story in that the MC is a piece of human garbage. Halfway in, another MC technically takes over, which lets us distances ourselves from the first MC, who basically becomes a demon.

It's all paced fairly fast, which isn't a bad thing. This manga mostly lives on shock value, and there are only so many times you can be shocked by the same thing over and over. The mangaka had good sense to make this a fairly short story. Assuming the early chapters don't turn you off too badly, it keeps you hooked in basically because you want to see the punishment that will be bestowed on the original MC.

The story receives negative points on the setting. The MC basically gets thrown back to elementary school. Why? Because... pedophilia is more shocking I guess? The characters would all make more sense if they were older. Literally nothing would be changed if the mangaka put them at least in middle school, but he sacrificed character personalities for shock value.

Art: Did the job, and I've seen much worse in big publications. The mangaka was able to pull off the big moments that matter, and there weren't any glaring anatomy errors. I find these kinds of amateur-esq styles amusing.

Characters: None acted like children, that's for sure. The series felt like it was written by someone who just assumes how children act. These kids are supposed to be in the 10-11 year old age range. One female character was obsessed with being sexy on a level that is not reasonable. The other was giving bullshit reasoning for why it was ok to be assaulted. It's one thing if an adult is coercing a child, as adults have 'auras' to children that make them nervous about speaking out. Other children have no such power. I've seen kids turn on friends for MUCH less then what the MC did to one of the female characters. It's always annoying when characters aren't consistent with the rest of the kids in their age range.

Anyway, me suspending way too much disbelief aside, the cousin character was interesting enough, and the MC was a very good level of completely batshit crazy. Certainly worth rooting against. I suppose it can be a bit refreshing to read a story with a complete piece of human trash as the main character, but he really exists as shock value. He has no real human qualities expect being a loser who was lazy, and being 'burned' by love. I hesitate to even use 'burned' because that would imply that he at least put himself out there, but no, he was just bitter that Nana didn't love him for all of his abundant flaws. That she didn't magically wake up and decide to love him one day.

Obsessing over one person basically your whole life might make you go off the deep end, but I'm pretty sure that most people would choose another if the opportunity presents itself, as it does in the manga. His 'love' for Nana is pretty thin anyway, or at least the feelings that we are shown at in the first chapter. It's less about loving someone, and more being sad for yourself that your not loved by /someone/. So his obsession with Nana felt pretty annoying.

Overall, it was a quick read that I don't regret. If you're not used to series like this, the story might come as a bit of a shock, and you might wonder what kind of sick person could write a story like that. But honestly, the story wasn't even that gruesome. I found it to be a bit over rated, honestly. Only one part made me feel actually uncomfortable. So if you're used to series like this, don't expect anything unique in terms of shock value. That said, it's still decent to read if your just looking for something quick, and if you want to see what the hype is about. After a few chapters, you just accept that this can only end poorly.

Yakuza Girl: Blade-jikake no Hanayome review
Put briefly, this manga tries to fit too much into too small a space. The reader, like the hero, is shoved headlong into a whirlwind of death, gang warfare, and naked flesh. The pacing never really slows down to explain what's going on, so by the time you figure out what is going on, the story is over. The school setting seems forced, because it's a stretch that a prestigious facility housing over 3000 would be able to hide such a high death rate. With the tests not only allowing or encouraging, but requiring stundents to kill each other, the premise seems intended solely to deliver shock value.

The problem with Yakuza Girl's plot is it tries to be three different stories in only eleven chapters, and because of this, it doesn't ever really get enough time to build them up to the level where the reader can get involved in them. Foremost the story wants to be a romance between Senguu and Akari, but there isn't much making them a compelling couple, partly because it is made clear that Senguu's reason for transferring is to find a wife and he spontaneously proposes to Akari after meeting her. Akari, for her role, does make a more gradual transition from stranger to lover. That they both improve to the point that they are able to protect each other is nice, as well, but it still feels like a hollow romance.

The second plot thread that the manga tries to spin is Senguu's rise from defenseless loser to ultimate hero. Unlike shonen heroes, he isn't trying to become the best for the sake of being the best, but to protect his new bride-to-be. Still, like usual, this growth in strength comes in the form of (highly lethal) battles with increasingly strong enemies, and there's not much reason to care about Senguu. Have I also mentioned that the villains are usually disgustingly monstrous?

The final aspect of the plot, and the one that would benefit most from more time to develop, is the infighting between the various clans and the apocalyptic conspiracy that makes Senguu so important. At least, I think it was an apocalyptic conspiracy, unless it was trying to stop the apocalypse. And that's the problem: there are about a dozen characters that show up for short periods of time with preexisting conflicts, grudges, motives, and machinations, but by the time one is explained, the story is already dealing with the threat of the next. The finale, especially, is confusing because it is only half explained.

The artwork, like the plot, is very busy. Battles in particular can be confusing to follow because of the constant motion and various effects, abilities, and technique names. Female characters are frequently at least half naked or suffer massive clothing damage and drawn to be alluring and overtly sexual. Males vary from generic to massive and intimidating, while the monster forms of people are detailed almost to stomach-churning levels of revulsion.

Characterization suffers from lack of development, because after cramming in the plot and fights, there's not much time left over for anything else, and so characters are mainly defined by appearance and their specific abilities. This would make remembering who's who difficult, except only four or five characters really matter for the plot.

Ultimately, whether you like this manga or not comes down to whether you're looking for some quick sex and violence (there's no explicit intercourse, but there are two near rapes). If you enjoyed Tenjou Tenge, but thought it spent way too much time in the flashback, this story is worth a look. It won't take long to read, anyway.

One final comment: the ending seems to have some sort of deeper message tucked into that wouldn't feel so awkward if the whole story hadn't been so eager to embrace killing everyone with little provocation.

Ousama Game review
Ousama Game!

Story: 7

A group of school students are given orders which they must complete within 24 hours. At first, the orders are childish like kissing each other and licking feet (foot fetish much!?), although it soon goes downhill for the students as the orders become increasingly harsh and violent. What I really like about the story is it's unpredictability; you never know what order is coming next and with the manga constantly giving slight hints about the true identity of Ousama, you'll want to know what happens next. Will the students kill one another to betray their friends? Or sacrifice themselves to save another friend? That is the beauty of the manga. The only main downfall is the pathetic which makes no sense.

Art: 7

I really liked the art in this manga, but it's nothing you haven't seen before. A lot of dramatic facial expressions to keep you guessing. The quality of the art is generally consistent, but not excellent.

Character: 5

Well, what can I say. Unfortunately this manga has very little character development and focuses solely on plot (none of them seem to have any family!) A lot of characters are dull enough to make you skip several pages of the manga. The main character is a very typical 'do gooder' who wants everyone to get along, which clearly isn't going to happen. Girls are portrayed as damsels in distress or psychopaths. There was only one character I liked.

Enjoyment: 9

I enjoyed this way too much. I'm a sucker for manga where students kill each other so this was right down by street. Blood and gore is always great to see!

Overall: 7

Not a bad manga at all. The low scores on here tend to be due to the terrible ending, but definitely give it a shot if you're interested by the prospect of students killing each other, provided you can put up with some gimmicky and annoying characters.

Species Domain review
One of the reasons, I picked up Species Domain was because I really liked the premise of the story. It was a unique kind of premise that had me immediately hooked. Unfortunately, this manga fails to execute its story in an interesting way.

Story:

The basic premise of the story is interesting. It has similar story elements seen in other anime such as "The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" and "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid. It combines the idea of "an ordinary life" with a fantasy twist. Unfortunately, "Species Domain" has a hard time balancing the fantasy and realism aspect of the story. The manga spends way too much time with the "slice of life" element in the show. The plot has some interesting lore, but not very much is explored or explained. While I do understand that that is the mystery of the manga, the story itself does not do much with the lore. The story has a fairly slow progression and despite the flaws, it is interesting enough to keep the readers attention.

Characters:
The characters are where the story really relies on. Unlike in other similar anime, none of the characters really capture the readers attention. In "The melancholoy of Haruhi Suzumiya" what made that anime great was it's two main characters, Haruhi and Kyon. In Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, it was Ms. Kobayashi and Tohru, Both main characters had really lovable and dynamic personalities that really complemented each other. In Species Domain, the main characters aren't that flexible. Kazamori is an introverted elf girl. Ohki is an upbeat, bright, and intelligent boy. While these two do complement each other, their personalities aren't very dynamic. (For me, the quiet personality is not the greatest starting point as a main character.) The manga actually does not spend a lot of time with these two together. It also tries to give some time to the other side characters. The side characters are decent. The flying angel girl had some good character development. One of the greatest flaws in the manga, is that not enough time is spent with just Kazamori and Ohki. They are always kinda just lumped together with the other characters and their personalities aren't strong enough to stand out from the rest.

Comedy:

With these kinds of stories, comedy plays an important part. Unfortunately, it's not very funny either. While I do love the running joke of the human being able to perform magic like stunts and the actual fantasy character can't, it gets boring a bit into the manga. Other than the premise, that's the main comedy of this manga.

Overall:

As of this review, I've read 5 volumes of the manga. I haven't read the rest cause it hasn't been translated yet. Species Domain is an interesting manga that spends way too much time with it's "slice of life" element instead of the fantasy element. One of the worst parts of the manga is that questions are never really asked or answered. It's a manga that is similar to "A centaurs Life". Where the fantasy element is just supporting the story and nothing else. I would have loved to see more of the fantasy world and the mystery of the premise being solved. I was hoping that the comedy would have made up for the lack of lore elements but sadly it couldn't last long. The two main characters are also not strong enough to make a real impression on me either. They don't evolve that much and their personalities don't stand out well either. I was really hoping for something better. This manga is like a slice of pizza. It's not terrible, but not outstanding either. All it needs is a little pepperoni and I think it would've done better.
