Shinyaku Toaru Majutsu no Index review
I gave the first series of Toaru Majutsu no Index a whole 10, but I'll give NT a minus 1, to a total of 9.

Story : 10
It's still as epic as ever. Kamachi Kazuma never fails at giving his readers an epic and complicated story. The war between science and magic at the scale of the world is still masterfully written. NT is still one of the LN with the best story aspect.

Art : 9
The art is great, but there are some (not much) LN with better illustrations. So I'll hold back a little and give it 9 for art.

Character : 10
Accelerator is the best!!! Kamijou and his Imagine Breaker is just as cool, Hamazura is also funny as ever, and Mikoto is still my favorite. Where else you will find a Light novel with four main characters, each with their unique background and story?

Enjoyment : 7
What!? Why!? Here's the reason : it's hard to read. It is necessary to have a superb imagination and understanding in order to recreate the scene in the story inside your head. There are several reasons for this :
- Lots of terminologies and explanations. One point that will make you confused.
- There are too many new characters introduced in each volume. Another point towards confusion.
- The abundance of main characters actually became a drawback here. The story ends up unfocused, and if you haven't read the first TAMNI you might even think that Touma (the real MC) is just a side character. Yet another point towards confusion.
- The story switches between point of view too often. First two pages you will follow the MC, then three pages from the enemy POV, and the next page suddenly switches to some soldier in a battlefield. Total confusion.

Long story short, it's a great, VERY great Light Novel. The only catch is that you need lots of patience and imagination to read this. NT is actually one of the two most difficult LN I ever read (the other being Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon).
So this is my conclusion : Unless you have confidence in your bookworm skill, or a fan of Toaru series, I suggest you to think twice before reading New Testament.

Build King review
Too long didn't read: If you liked Toriko, this series can scratch that itch while providing a glimmer of hope that it can improve upon Toriko's weaker areas. If you didn't like Toriko, you will not like this. And, if you were indifferent or never read Toriko, you might like this.

Made by the same author as Toriko, Build King has a lot of nice things to look at, while also providing an intriguing story, and elusions to a final, grand ending; the truth behind the build kings.

But, as you've probably seen while clicking on this review page, you can see that the score is currently just under a 6; you may be asking: "how is that possible?" And the answer I can give you is this: at first, it feels like quite a bit to take in, and the plot, which slaps you in the face because it's a big information dump in the first chapter or two, feels extremely generic (at first). I actually didn't like this series at first, but, as I continued to read, I got sucked into this manga, and I now currently look forward to reading it every week.

Pros:

The art style is magnificent; if you've read Toriko, then you know what the author is capable of. Yet, in my opinion, the art has become even grander, and the concept of having a planet full of builders is so vague that it allows the author to come up with crazy and far out designs that are very appealing to look at.

The characters, while seemingly shallow at first, begin to get more interesting as time goes on, and the side characters that are included along the way are uniquely designed, and are generally quite comical.

The plot, at the moment, is progressing rapidly, and an arc that is about to introduce deep lore and many more characters is occurring, which is nice to experience. The first few chapters made me feel as though this progress would never happen, so it's good that the manga has gotten to a point where it's finding itself.

Cons:

Like in Toriko, it feels like some side characters are going to be included, only to be tossed away and forgotten (unlike in one piece, where zany, odd characters always seem to impact the story as time moves on). Although the author seems to have put more emphasis in providing backstories for the side characters (so far that is, at chapter 11), it still feels like the mistakes of Toriko will find their way into this series, tagging along with the bright spots of the defunct series.

The plot, while it's becoming interesting, needs a lot of work before it can become a sustainable series. It's very generic, and while there have been flashes of brilliance, which is why I've rated this series rather highly, I can already see potential issues that many could have with the story; readers could ask questions such as: "how does a world of building sound even remotely interesting?" And "Why should I read this manga when it feels like a rehash of Toriko and other classic Shonen's?"

It may feel like this review is ending briefly, but, for now, there aren't enough chapters to give more than a few pros or cons. In the future, I will come back and edit this, and, hopefully, I will give it a better score than now.

Mousugu Shinu Hito review
tl;dr : Please don't do this to yourself. Please DON'T.
You may be thinking "eh, it's just 16 chapters. At worst I'll only waste some time" but DON'T. It's not even "so bad it's good" bad, it's just plain bad.

So now that this is out of the way, let's get on with the task of explaining why this manga sucks (I'm doing this in no particular order, this is my first review. It will suck, bear with me).

Okay so let's start with the only good point : the art (7). It's okay. Not excellent but it's pretty good at representing distressed people and is the only way this manga manage to have some kind of atmosphere.

Now the story (4) : it's ... okay : some kids need to understand why and how someone is going to kill them after witnessing a video that show them how they'll die. Now this is not a bad idea per se, but in this manga it's really undermined by every thing else.
Wait no, I should have said it like that : the PREMISE is 7, the actual STORY is 2. Because while it COULD have been good, it's not. The charcaters kill the story and the ending is horrible.

The characters (2). Aaaah the characters. I can't remember the last time I actually wanted to punch every single character in a manga. None of these characters are relatable and their (re)actions make no sense. Now if you intend to read this thing (and if I didn't make myself clear enough already DON'T), please don't expect any kind of rationality to happen. As always in this kind of work the police is nonexistent, adults are incompetent and the family of the kids must be on the other side of the planet as they have ZERO impact on the story (except for that one chick whose parents were murdered ten years ago. THAT's the extent of family involvement).
So as for the characters themselve we have :
- the dense harem MC. He's dense, he's meek, everyone fall for him because he's kind, he should die in a fire.
- the shy chidhood friend. She's shy, she loves the MC and anything else is spoiler.
- the manipulative bitch. You CANNOT like her. Seriously I tried, she's not made for that. No character in this story is likeable.
- the student council president. Except this one I guess. She's bland but compared to the rest she's a 11/10 character.
- some other girl who can't make her damn mind. And is actually an understandable character (not relatable mind you).
- the adults. Useless. Because of course when 5 people have disappeared while checking the server's room the police don't care, that's not important. FFS this manga.

Oh my god you can rate the "enjoyment" part. Ahahahahahah, they should really put something like "this manga made me angry and actually ruined my mood". I'm using this review to vent but seriously I hope you won't read this thing.

Overall : 2. This is not the worst manga ever, but it's trash. I simply can't understand how anybody could have rated this thing higher than 5. This is a waste of time and it will make you feel bad.
Eh, I should have put that in the tl;dr

Himawari review
"Because I have no economic or political ambitions, I can only envision a life of poverty. But a man is supposed to prioritize his happiness over all else." -The Main Character (of Himawari)

People are told to behave, be, and showcase who they truly are, but what if their parents, their usual main source for inspiration and support, imagine and expect their children to behave and act a different way?
Himawari, a short one-shot by prolific and talented mangaka Inio Asano, briefly explores a repressed man who feels this for most of his life. Then quickly, out of seemingly nowhere, his parents die in an unfortunate accident.

Story: 7/10
It opens with a man who appears to be in his early-thirties. He is visited by a young woman who looks roughly the same age as him. He spends most of his time twiddling on his cellphone while the two discuss how their lives are going. Their lives are now gradually becoming more complicated due to recent problems they've encountered. The overall premise is straightforward. It revolves around how the main character, a repressed and divorced man, feels like after realizing his parents died while talking to an estranged female companion. The story is interesting and explained well-enough to make sense in the limited thirty pages the manga lasts. For the small amount of pages this manga contains, it actually does a decent job on the story department. However, the manga's overall storytelling is lacking and is not as terrifically interesting and emotionally-involving as it could have been, so my overall rating for the story isn't especially high.

Art 8/10
Inio Asano really steps it up with his already appealing artwork. Honestly, Umibe no Onnanoko and later, more recent chapters of Oyasumi Punpun are the only examples of when his art is better than this excellently drawn one-shot. The one-shot's art is dark blue and white in color, rather the usual black and white, but it doesn't feel distracting at all. The art flows just as smoothly as the regular black and white kind would. The backgrounds are realistically intricate and give the manga a nice, breezy feel. The character designs are well-drawn and are also detailed, especially when compared to artwork earlier in Asano's career. The main character's lanky body and growing, unshaven facial hair are given nice attention. And the main female character design is attractive and possesses the usual, trademark trapezoid-like eyes that Asano has now wonderfully made into his very own splendid staple. Other secondary characters are also designed well, and are thankfully not given less detail just because they're in lesser focus. He isn't lazy and it shows.

Character 7.5/10
The main character's history with the main female character is intriguing. It is hinted that they used to be married together and have a much stronger relationship than they currently have. However, the main character's past and history with his parents is what truly makes this one-shot interesting. It seems around high school his parents basically forced him to pursue a distinguished career in the city which isn't something that he desired. His feelings ultimately become repressed, and he explains that he used to partake in many particular acts unlike himself just to solely please them. This explains why he seems like such a defeated and disinterested person when he talks to the female character. After the accident that caused both of his parent's death, he doesn't seem very shocked or saddened at all, more of relieved. Asano created an interesting character, and it's a shame the manga runs too short. He could have been explored more with even better results in terms of character depth.

Enjoyment: 7/10
I thoroughly enjoyed this one-shot despite some setbacks due to the shortness and lack of exposition. I liked learning about the main character and his feelings regarding his parents and his past.

Overall: 7/10
A good one-shot based on an interesting character. This one-shot is not amazing and has its share of flaws, but is still a solid and enjoyable read. Fans of Inio Asano will enjoy another intriguing story from him, and newcomers to this mangaka can also appreciate and enjoy this one-shot. Perhaps it might even lead them to other better, more fleshed out manga by him.

AI WO SHIRANAI OKUMANCHOUJA review
Straight to the point.
Story: 6/10
One of the most used plots in the josei genre, same as in Harlequin manga.
The heroine (Faith) confronts the hero (Stone) who was her guardian, that she wants to pay him back everything she owes him, (girl he has billions on his account) and work hard to realize her dream, but he thinks she's too immature and naive. (and she is).
As "the wheels of fate turn," (also typical josei plot) Stone is given the standard josei condition/plot maker (from his mother, the CEO of the company he wants) to marry somebody and live with that woman for a year in order to inherit the company. Guess who will he pick?
Characters 6/10:
Stone (30): The drop dead gorgeous bachelor, chased by countless women, rich as well, something typical for josei manga; Has feelings towards the heroine he hid because of their age difference.
Faith (20): An earnest heroine, who is clueless and in love with Stone since she was a teen. Naive and good, as well. (So about 85% of the typical josei heroines).
Art: 6/10
Art is acceptable, I somewhat like the way characters are drawn. It's not perfect, but I've seen worse.
Overall: 6/10
One of the classic, kinda Cinderella, stories with the expected plot for somebody who read countless josei manga like me. For somebody who is just starting, it's a good one, sweet, and the hero is not a huge jerk.

Abara review
Because of how little reviews there are of this manga, I have read all of them and noticed that everyone was talking about how the author uses pictures instead of words. I can agree with two things; the art is amazing, and the author uses little dialogue. But that's it. Many people say that you would understand the story more if you took a closer look and analysed the artwork, but that is simply false. The art is amazingly detailed, but few of them actually portray something important to understanding the story. Now, with that sorted, I will begin my review.

Story - 6/10

The story was quite decent, and it would probably be even higher if it was clear enough to understand. After analysing the artwork, I could finish the story with barely any extra understanding of the story. And the only part that I completely understood and enjoyed was the ending, and the ending was a masterpiece; To the eye and to the brain. I will not speak of the story since I want to keep this spoiler free.

Art - 10/10

The art in here is amazing, though the characters may put many people off. This is due to their eyes being too far apart, otherwise it would look amazing. But that it just part of the author's style and personality, and I respect that. When I say amazing, I absolutely mean it. Not only is it detailed on every aspect, but it actually communicates emotions with me. However, there is one thing I don't like very much about the artwork... The battle scenes. Most of the battle scenes confuse me, because the author skips quite a lot of actions in them. The sketchy drawing style also doesn't help point out what the author really wants you to see. I also don't like the style of the sound effects, it is a bit plain, but I guess that is also part of his style.

Character - 3/10

The characters are low for a reason... They had little to no introduction or insight. We couldn't really tell what they were feeling and what their personalities were... I felt that most of them were emotionless. Except for one, which I'm sure you all know if you have finished the manga. I feel like the author could have put a lot more depth into his characters to make them loveable, or at least unique.

Enjoyment - 2/10

The entire manga wasn't very fun or addictive to read. Probably because the author didn't mean for it to be. I like to read more fast paced manga, and this one was fast paced... Just not in the right way. The story accelerates quite fast, but you would have to read slowly due to the intricate artwork. This feeling contradicts itself and I just felt like rushing the manga the whole time. To be honest with you, I had to force myself through the manga.

Overall - 5/10

I gave it a 5 for an overall score, I was originally going to give it a 6 or a 7 while I was reading it. However, the part I was reading was probably the only part I found interesting, and the rest had disappointed me. With that said, I think this manga had quite a lot of potential. The manga-ka had just focused on some of the wrong elements to try and bring it alive.

Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai shinai Taikutsu na Sekai: Manmaru-hen review
Shimoneta (shorter version or ShimoSeka) is a manga adaptation of the light novel with the same name written by Akagi Hirotaka, in English it's translated as "A Boring World Where the Concept of Dirty Jokes Does Not Exist", published between 2014-2016. It has 23 chapters collected in 4 volumes, Yuzuki N' being the artist.

It's about a revolution, Japan has become the purest society ever on Earth, no one is talking about sex, no one masturbates, no one is comparing boobs, boys don't flip girls' skirts and girls don't try to impress the boys with skimpy outfits and no one is telling dirty jokes. Can you imagine such a world? Could you survive in that world? On top of that, all children have some SF chokers that control their actions, any perverted thing is prohibited and strictly controlled. Enter these high school boys and girls (an organisation named SOX) who fight against the system in the name of perversions and dirty jokes, will they save Japan?
Fortunately, this manga is a comedy, take the synopsis literally and have fun with our main characters committing obscene acts of terrorism in order to defeat the system and liberate Japan from this oppression of thought. It's one of those ideas that sounds stupid on paper but when executed, it becomes a fun read and really entertaining.

To be fair, this manga was like your usual ad for the light novel, the first two volumes are very fast paced, even compared with the anime (which came a year later), the first 12 chapters correspond with the anime's first 11 episodes and the remaining two volumes contain a new story arc, also filled with perversions and craziness. The only disappointment I have with this manga is that it doesn't have a clear and concise ending, which is normal, there was no interest in adapting the whole LN material, this was just a segment from the overall story and we should be thankful for that, even without an ending, this is truly entertaining to read for fans of ecchi & comedy. My other complain is that it's not ecchi enough.

It's a manga that doesn't take itself seriously, it's supposed to make you laugh in this weird SF scenario and also arouse you a bit with some sexy scenes. The setting is a high school, all the characters are teens with some exceptions.

The main attraction is clearly the main girl Kajou Ayame, she is the biggest pervert you could think of, talks dirty, thinks about sex all the time, has photos of naked chicks in her pockets, she is a true "woman of culture" and a revolutionary, what's her motivations? because it's fun, dirty jokes are fun, insert some fake tragic past about her father who was also a pervert terrorist to make it cheesier and we're good. She wears a pair of panties on her face occasionally.
The more cliches here the better, we also have a normal high school boy who doesn't wanna be a pervert but becomes a member of SOX, a crazy yandere who's a pervert but doesn't have a clue about sex, a cute annoying loli girl and another perverted loli, a childhood friend who likes the main dude, also an ugly guy who wears a women's bra.

The characters really make the story here, I liked all of them, they are weird and crazy and anything can happen when they are around. And because we can't be focused on plots to destroy the government all the time, we get sexy situations. Girls falling on top of the main character, accidental kisses (and I am not talking about the girl's upper lips), anyways, let your imagination flow. Unfortunately, it's not To Love Ru or Sora no Otoshimono level of ecchi but something is there and it's a feast for the eyes. Overall it's wacky and disgusting in some parts (love nectar cookies are the best cookies a girl could bake, read it to find out about this wonderful recipe), but that's the appeal, it's for people who like this kind of comedy, want a good laugh and look at girl's bodies.

The art style is good, the girls are beautiful, nice backgrounds (but not detailed enough, I say it's like your mediocre high school manga-like) and the sexy scenes look appealing and delicious but don't expect nipples, it's a hidden detail, the anime is more ecchi than the manga, I feel it works anyway, it's ok I guess, like I said above, it doesn't compare with well established ecchi manga, it's more comedy and the ecchi is the cherry on the top, and of course it's small compared to the cake, we also get many bath scenes. The characters look 95% the same as in the anime, so no major differences here.

I liked it because it's my kind of comedy, it's rough and dirty and doesn't care about "feelings", if a girl has a big rack, Ayame will say how hot she looks and that her rack would be good for paizuri. The main guy is kinda boring, he doesn't like dirty jokes as much as others but he begins to change throughout the manga.
If you like dirty jokes and obscene characters, give this manga a try. I recommend it to Shimoneta anime viewers too, the last two volumes are comprised of LN material which wasn't adapted in the anime and the chapters are fun, we meet some new characters and we get lots of obscene stuff typical for this series.
