Fushigi no Kuni no Miyuki-chan review
Well seeing as there are no reviews for this, I figured I would write one. It's my first one by the way, so I apologize for my poor formatting skills.

Miyuki-chan in Wonderland is what I refer to as CLAMP throwing out all of their built-up sexual tension into one tiny manga volume. As many CLAMP fans know, CLAMP doesn't often do super-sexual things. Their most sexual work, other than this one, was Chobits- Which still just felt like an ecchi shoujo rather than a shounen.

But anyway. Miyuki-chan in Wonderland is essentially a yuri ecchi manga with very pretty art and an Alice in Wonderland theme, as the name would imply. Each chapter is a different story that usually stats out with our heroine, a high school girl named Miyuki, in some every-day situation- Being late to school, brushing her hair in the mirror, watching TV, playing video games going to the movies, etc. Then, something odd happens and she gets sucked into an alternate dimension of sorts- and it's a different world in every chapter that always relates to whatever she was doing at the time. In every world she gets sucked into, she invariably runs into a series of scantly-clad women, all trying to grope, seduce, undress, or otherwise sexually violate her in some form or another. Amusingly enough, there's never even any real nudity- Just... Everything else.

Story: 4
Well I pretty much summed it up in the above paragraph. It repeats itself in every chapter with new characters and a new world, but the same formula.

Art: 9
Alright it's CLAMP. Their art is superb- hard to deny that. To top it off, it's their old style, which was much more rich with beautiful detail than the style they use now. The only reason I did not give the art a 10 was because I felt that the costumes, which CLAMP is normally AMAZING at, were very dissapointing. With so many characters, I expected to at least be looking at tons of pretty clothes.

Characters: 5
The only reason this even got a 5 was because the last chapter features the females from X, which is my favorite manga and the reason I even purchased this silly thing. So forgive my bias. That being said, the characters are.. well... They are what they are. They don't really seem to have personalities outside of wanting to molest Miyuki. Miyuki's personality is nothing to talk about either- She gets sucked into a world, gets freaked out (although less freaked out than the average person would be in this situation), and has the cycle repeated.

Enjoyment: 7
Honestly I just like looking at CLAMP's art, and seeing the X females was a huge plus and made me smile. So that's the only reason this got a 7, but for anyone who is not an X or CLAMP fan, I doubt you'll enjoy it much unless you really want to see some badly done yuri.

Overall: 5
Yeah it's pretty bad. Honestly, unless you're a CLAMP and or X fan, I wouldn't bother. It's pretty, and I did get a couple chuckles, but that's about it. And with how much anime/manga has changed today, any ecchi/yuri fans would be SORELY dissapointed by this- There is no actual nudity or any kissing, just a lot of groping and such.

Murder Incarnation review
It's hard to review a work that is episodic, but here goes nothin'-

Story:
Episodes span 2-3 chapters long. This works perfectly because most of the stories are only worth that much. Although I would have loved to see the first story continued (as it was potentially strong enough to be a stand-alone work) it ends on a note that was mysterious and haunting, just like our 'Murder Incarnate' is.

Each episode is different, and by different I mean significantly. It's great to see that each piece was it's own stand-alone narrative that kept me reading for its own specific reasons. I enjoyed certain characters in some, and others I couldn't wait to see killed. It's a fun read, and there really aren't any complaints other than the swift ending. I hope to see a spin-off or potentially a 'Part 2' in the future.

Now, to bring up a negative, 2 of the endings are really... well, they're stretching it. There isn't a lot of time for the episodes to expand on characters beyond the single dimension we get from a few pages, so when the ending has a twist pertaining to characters, it's sometimes a shock, and not the good kind. I kept reading because, "Mehh, whatever." Becuase I knew there was potential in the next episode, but it made a few of them kind of stupid.

Art:
Digital. Let's get that out of the way first. Deep breaths, everyone.

It's good, though. Scenes aren't overly crowded, and characters look unique and have their own defining characteristics. Some digital works fail because the motions don't translate well, but in this manga it's clear that motion is taking place when it needs to. The 3D models never got in the way of my reading, but when it comes to murder and blood and all that jazz, nothing beats hand-drawn.

Character:
This connects back to the story. The error really comes down to some of the character drama. If this manga had a higher chapter count, it's possible that this problem could have been saved, but it's already too late.

Enjoyment:
A fun read. It's a time killer. For its short chapter count and basic subject matter, I was surprised at the urge to read further (but to my chagrin there wasn't anymore.) I'll never re-read this, but I may suggest it to someone who's stuck on the bus in traffic and needs to kill some time.

I'll suggest the same to you! Read it if you want to kill time but don't want to invest too much! On break at work? Pop this sucker open. Waiting in the car for a friend? Read another chapter. Don't be afraid to give this sucker a try.

((If you liked this review, friend me for new reviews on other works, both manga and anime!))

Cerberus review
Well this is my first review on MAL so please don't be too critical of my way of seeing things ^^ Thank you

CAREFUL, CONTAIN SPOILERS!

So Cerberus is what we could call the typical shonen manga, not really anything new, still good but not extraordinary. You might want to read it if you're looking for a shonen manga that's easily readable and enjoyable ^^

Story 6/10
Well nothing exceptional concerning the story, I mean, a guy and his best childhood friends go into an abandoned house and they end up awaking entities that shouldn't have been awakened. That's when Kei, the main character, ends up meeting yukifusa, a hell hound that was guarding the souls, Yukifusa gives his power to Kei in order for him to send the 'bad souls' to their graves and protect all his friends and family. That said, nothing that's really new but still a good plot for a shonen manga :).

Art 7/10
Well, the art isn't bad, it's in the average for a shonen manga, even though Kei's gravekeeper form is quite good :3

Character 6/10
Well, each character has his own personality, even though some are quite superficial and it is pretty much the same as every shonen manga, an op main characters who wants to protect those around him. But there is a still character development mostly between Yukifusa and Kei, and their friendship, at the beginning, yukifusa sees Kei only as a tool to send souls dto their graves but it evolves into a bond of true friendship between those two. There is also a bit of background for the character of Yukifusa, which shows us who he was and how meeting Kei helped him get over being just a guardian bored and unhappy of his life.

Enjoyement 8/10
Well I like shonen mangas so this manga was quite enjoyable, a lot of actions and the typical shonen manga so I couldn't really dislike it ^^

Overall 7/10
Even though this manga is not great, it is still quite good if you like shonen mangas, if you don't, it's not worth reading ^^

Thank you for reading ;)

Heavy Object review
Through the course of history, wars have been fought due to resources, idealistic disagreements, or as a way to ward off what some may believe to be a threat. Hand weapons such as swords and spears, guns, tanks, and a multitude of tactics have been used to fight off opponents and are used as killing methods so that each side may achieve their goal.

In the world of Heavy Object however, there's not really any insight on why there's a war is going on and the choice of weapons are objects called, well, Objects. Is this necessarily a bad thing? Not completely, as the work still provides for a goofy and nice read.

The story is a classic case of the underdog hero saving the damsel in distress. As a whole, there's many comedic and goofy moments, so sorry to those who expected this to be a dramatic story of the consequences of war.

Kwenser is the usual naive white knight character of this tale who is in Alaska to study objects. Is there a specific reason? Well, the story does not give insight in that either so his real intentions remain unknown through the work. Then you have the Princess, the Damsel in question who acts odd and is not a traditional princess. Finally, there's Heivia, the regular perverted friend who decides to help out Kwenser. While the characters are nothing new to the scene, they are likable enough to keep reading.

While the series is some what fanservicy, the art for the characters is rather good and fits with the series. The design of the the Objects are rather simple though and not really complex.

If you just want to have a good silly time that does not have much background to the world, this short read will be able to accomplish that.
