This manga had soo many potentials, I mean it could've been one of the best mangas out there (not that saying it's not but under there). So what's the reason that made this manga a let down? So let's get to the point. There are a lot of teases to the readers that this manga can develop a romantic subplot/plot but in the end it just felt like the mangaka just got tired with the manga and wanted to end it and quit. Basically that's how it happened, throwing romantic teases at you and in the end throws it away on a near by river to add insult to injury.

Remember the scene where Nishimiya is practicing her speech to confess to Ishida with her sister? Yea? So what happened to that scene? Did all of that go to waste because we don't know what will happen next? Yes. So are you excited that someday Nishimiya will confess her feelings to Ishida? Good, cause you aren't getting one.

Conclusion:

It's quite rushed and it ended quite quickly with left out question that aren't answered. But overall it was an enjoyable ride and it will be more enjoyable if weren't for the ending. And I think I it's kinda suspicious why the manga just ended it 'there' like "so I'm excited for the new chapter where it's gonna resolve everything... *Thank you for reading*"

Story (7): the story is pretty straightforward. Not revolutionary or anything but it aware if ut and not trying to be something else. So they use that to their advantage. The ending and revelation is quite predictable but what makes me enjoy this is the atmosphere. Idk how but they really got the disturbing factor spot on it gave me chills at every chapter. Just a simple depiction of horrifyingly big swollen bug bite, thousands of insects crawling all over your body and attacking your pets, relatable daily things like that and dramatise that just really works for horror. I like how it doesn't rely on ghosts or gore too much to scare the readers.

Art (9): Is probably the strongest point in this manga. It has a delicate, soft pen strokes, to have such pretty art style on a disturbing horror manga just adds the creepyness. Did I mention the word pretty? The character design is nothing unique (not that it has to tho) but it's pretty. It's gorgeous. The paneling is also awesome. And some shots were just beautiful like the scene where it has a spread image of dead bodies all over a lake with a kayak (?) in the middle. Powerful and pretty I could print that in a poster and hang it on my bedrooms. Also the insects, inflected bodies, monster designs are so grossly drawn it's so good. And the main girl (the instect Princess is terrifying, omg.

Characters (7): it doesn't have many chapters so it's not like we can explore the characters that much so nothing special. The characters reaction to things are pretty realistic which I really appreciate, not like some airhead horror main character that has the dumb mentality of "I neED tO sAve everYonE!". As if "saving everyone" is the only personality trait they have. The Insects Princess on the other hand does a really good job at being creepy and terrifying.

Enjoyment (9): this manga did a really good job at making me feel disturbed and creeped out like a horror manga should so thumbs up for that! I haven't really found a nice horror manga that's actually creepy aside from Ito Junji's work so this is really refreshing. I love how this manga doesn't really rely on psychopathic killers or such to make it terrifying.

Overall (8): totally recommend this if you're just bored and feeling like having an insect related nightmare at night!

it is doesn't matter if is short story, it will takes you in such good action from the beginning to the end.
When I finding good story, this is really great and smooth of actions, but you will also find a romance xx.
It always should be some uncovered thing and there is that secret, and it actions takes in such emotions that keeps you to want to read more and more.
Story it is really great and over all I just can't believe it it I finished reading, also the characters and art it is really detailed. I mean really great clear art. Obviously I always looking for such nice and handsome at least main characters, but here was everything amazing done it. I will also definitely get this manga in book. Just can't wait it for this lol xx.

tl;dr: shorter and slightly better arifureta because the author blatantly plagiarized large sections of arifureta

Plagiarism: For those that don't know, Dungeon Seeker started off as a "I can do better" attempt after the author read the Arifureta WN. Imo, they succeeded for the most part. Unfortunately, they stopped giving a shit in the second half and started copy/pasting large chunks of the story with a few name swaps here and there. Dungeon Seeker was more popular at the time, so when the Arifureta creator sued for copyright infringement, the DS creator tried to sic his fans on them among other underhanded tactics. Thankfully, the DS creator lost and all revenue from DS goes to the Arifureta creator, but it still damages the work in question. It goes from being "one of the few properly paced isekai" to "they rushed an ending because they got caught".

Story: It's not nearly as good as Berserk/Revival Man, but at least it never goes as low as Shield Hero. I enjoyed the brisk pace throughout instead of the usual slog through dime a dozen fantasy worlds. Everything tied together nicely, even if it was a bit overdone at times.

Characters: You'll probably end up hating almost everyone, but I suppose that is the point. At least the main character has a proper reason to be cynical this time, and never ends up buying child slaves.

Conclusion: You'll enjoy it if you enjoy trashy isekai, as it's slightly better than your average one.

Jewel to Canary is a cuty little oneshot about a pair of twins, Jewel the boy, and Canary the girl. They usually always get along, until a small little incident gets them mad at each other. They call each other names, and Jewel shoves Canary over in anger.

Not wanting to apologize because he's still mad at her, he goes to his cousin Cerulean to try and make himself feel better. Little does he know, however, that since Cerulean is the wisest man in the village, he can easily tell why Jewel and Canary are upset, and he helps Jewel learn about forgiveness and being able to say "I'm sorry" no matter the situation.

All in all it's a sweet little oneshot that makes you want to hug to the two twins due to their cuteness.

Like a lot of 4-koma, Aho Girl takes a little while to get going but once all the major characters are established, it is relentlessly funny. It's a very simple story about an idiot and the people around her who have to deal with her antics. It's really just dumb fun but the jokes land pretty consistently. This is mostly because of the great characters, who are all hilarious in their own way. The best part about it is how unsympathetically things are portrayed. Yoshiko is a proud idiot has no concern for the people she causes problems for. The main male character Akutsu seems to actually (justifiably) hate her. She would be infuriating to be around in real life but reading about her is hysterical. The art is pretty simple but works well with the comedy.

As someone who dislikes ecchi, I wasn't sure if I was gonna stick with UU or not. However, I was pleasantly surprised. After 50+ chapters, I’m here to say Undead Unluck has consistently been one of the best JUMP manga I’ve read in a while. DO NOT drop this manga if you’ve just read the first few chapters. While the first handful of chapters are rough, UU quickly drops the vast majority of the ecchi nonsense. After about 8-10 ch in, you get the start of a manga that has an incredibly well done power system, some actual good romance in a shonen, a very unique, unpredictable story with plenty of foreshadowing, extremely well done worldbuilding, good art that makes use well of double page spreads, and great character development.

--STORY 9/10—
I’m not gonna give a synopsis for the story since other reviews here have done that, but what I will say is that I can only describe it as a crossover of SCP, HxH, and maybe a bit of DBZ even character design wise. UU’s story is one that will take you through all sorts of unexpected arcs. While it might seem like a generic “kill God” story, it’s so much more than that. The way the mangaka uses the concepts of “Uma’s & Negators” is just brilliant, and heavily ties into the characters and how they act. UU can actually be a rather tragic tale at time, and characters you maybe didn’t care about at first could end up as faves.

The world itself basically runs on its own set of rules. Concepts like there being more than 1 language, stars in the sky, a way to tell time, even death itself may be absent at certain points in the story. The foreshadowing and worldbuilding is genuinely so amazingly done, rereading the manga can be surreal just seeing how events in the first ch can relate back to current events in the manga. I don’t want to spoil too much of the story, but I will say it is very good so far.

--CHARACTERS 8.5/10—
I was actually quite surprised at how UU handles its characters. It may take some time but most characters get some great character development at some point in the story with both characters on the protag and antag side getting it. The main duo of Fuuko and Andy in particular are just so well done. What starts off as a rather unorthodox pair turns into a surprisingly natural romance story. Fuuko is a great female protag, and her development from a timid, suicidal girl to a strong, passionate young lady in love wanting to save the world and others has been great so far. Andy too has had great development, tho it’s a bit more subtle and spoilerly. I will say he becomes a lot more considerate of both Fuuko and other people’s feelings over time. Both him and Fuuko have a very natural romance, and while it starts off kinda grossly as your usual ecchi gag, I assure you it becomes a heartwarming story of romance.
As for the side cast, well a lot of them have well-done backstory and development as well. There would be too many to list here, but some faves so far are Rip, “Anno Un”, and Juiz. Not ALL of them oc have development mind you, but I figure there’s def the possibility for those who don’t to get development in the future.

--ART 8.5/10—
UU is one of those rare manga that really makes use of double page spreads well. The battles in UU are very creative, and unique to look at. Using the excellent power system, the art is able to show some just amazing action moments. Character expressions are also on point too whether it’s for comedy or serious moments. Backgrounds look good for the most part, there’s a lot of variety in the areas travelled to as well. The character and creature designs are on point, and they usually relate back to each character’s power as well. There are better drawn weekly JUMP manga certainly, but it works very well here.

--ENJOYMENT 9/10—
UU is one of those manga I actually look forward to weekly. I never know where I’m going to go with this manga, but it’s consistently been very smart, interesting, and above else just pure fun. I’m not sure what else to say here other than I guess I hope you enjoy it. It’s not for everyone sure, but I’d say give it a try. I will say though if you’re about 10-12 ch. in and still don’t like it, it’s probs not for you.

"Ansatsusha de Aru Ore no Status ga Yuusha yori mo Akiraka ni Tsuyoi no da ga"
is one of the few Isekais where Overpowered MC is handled pretty well.
Not just completely focusing on the MC but also around him, not going to the "cliche" path as the others but still manage to be interesting.

The story revolves around our MC named Akira who got summoned along with his 2nd Year classmate. But even if they were summoned, only one will be get the title "Hero". Our MC didn't manage to get a hold of it but instead given an "Assassin" class.
Even though it has only 9.2 chapters as of now, I assure you that this one isn't the same as the most Isekai manga.

This Gundam Seed Astray series, like the original manga, deals with a lot of backstory and explains several things that the anime doesn't touch on very much.

While the storyline is good, the artwork is too rough and course. I often have trouble discerning what certain objects are, and at other times, an object will seem to change size from one frame to the next.

However, this manga also features a gundam that only appears in Astray R called the Regenerate Gundam. As the name suggests, this gundam can actually fix itself in the middle of a battle.

Dark Metro is your standard horror manga. It's episodic so far and uses basic set ups. At the beginning it's fun and fairly well executed. I wouldn't call it the best in its genre but it's far from the worst. Especially considering that it's collections of short stories and not a long and involved plot.

Unfortunately it goes down hill from there when it gets to volume two. The stories become a bit shorter and have less plot to them. Plot ideas that could be interesting if there was more buildup and detail fall flat when shrunk to only a few pages. The main repeating character starts out in the first volume as mysterious but not entirely unreal. By the time you get to the end of the second volume however he seems like a badly fleshed out mary sue. None of his powers are explained or even witnessed outside of him showing up at the end of each chapter to defeat the bad guy and make it so nothing actually happened in the chapter.

Overall this series is a collection of decent ideas that haven't been worked with at all, combined with a bunch of really generic ideas that haven't been fleshed out either.
