Chocolate Girl review

I think it was Tezuka (main male lead) that really made me love this manga.

Story: Overall the story isn't anything too special. As mentioned in the plot, it's about a girl who becomes manager for an actor. Then there's romance.

Characters: I feel like many people like character development, but personally I feel like characters don't always have to grow. In fact I think for this particular manga, romance played an important role, and the fact that the characters didn't change actually made me enjoy this manga that much more. Nothing in the story drags, maybe except at times, how dense the characters might be about the others' feelings.

Romance: No spoilers, but really if you're a girl, you'll more than likely like Tezuka's character. This is one of the few mangas where a male character is so completely honest about his feelings. For me it was a really refreshing, genuine kind of honesty. Hahah, what in the world does that mean? IDK that's how I felt. Different people will have different opinions.
ALSO, in terms of how the romance develops I would say the romance comes really early on in the story. It is also more noticeable from the male vs the female lead, but overall, I'm satisfied.

Art: I'm not too picky. I first thought of Chou yo Hana, then i looked it up and the two are by the same author xD makes sense. The main leads look exactly the same in my opinion.

Overall: Huuuh, he is my ideal male lead. I realize this review sounds more like a review about Tezuka, but he's the reason why I enjoyed this manga. Girls, if you're looking for a manga to read that has an honest, kind, bickering/angry, protective, and understanding guy, this one is for you.
