All You Need Is Kill review

I found this title in a comic shop after watching "Edge of Tomorrow (2014)" and was curious about how similar the plot was. This one is not something everyone will enjoy, the story doesn't make all the promises a Hollywood film does, and won't tie everything off with a bow, but if you're okay with that It's worth the read. While some themes are the same as the movie the execution and writing are different.

The plot will take you through a journey where the main characters will sacrifice everything about their personality is worn away other than their will to live and save their planet, then out of the blue, it will breathe life into them making them human for a fleeting moment when their personalities come alive and shine. Until that too must be sacrificed for the sake of the planet and all they need is kill.

This artwork and drawing are done exceptionally well, I would strongly urge you to pause during some of the actions sequences to really appreciate all the effort that went into it.

While the motivations of the main characters and some of the more important supporting characters are well developed. Some characters are very flat, with no personality. It is clear at times that the plot was slightly derailed to try to add some sex appeal by having a charter be unreasonably busty and underclothed for no good reason to say a few lines.
