Blue Period review

I don't care about art. I really don't. In fact, I dropped art after pursuing it for three years due to parents. I could never bare to sit down and draw for hours at a time, let alone do it so often, yet Blue Period makes me so engrossed in art that I -to an extent- regret that I ever dropped it.
Blue Period is a masterpiece.
We follow the story of Yatora Yaguchi, a delinquent with good grades and his pursuit of art. He has no prior experience, yet his passion pulls him further. It's the kind of manga that I can't really explain with words, you simply feel the passion of Yatora with his art.
The panels suck you in, the story makes you invested. Every character has depth in personality and I couldn't recommend it more. It makes me jealous that I don't have something to lose my life to, yet I'll continue searching.
Maybe one day, like Yatora, I'll stumble accidently onto something truly beautiful and dedicate my life towards it.
