Bleach
One of the top 3 Shounen mangas in popularity. It suffers the same problem the Naruto does: it starts with good smaller arcs,with puns and some character development, or at least a well driven long one ( which I totally recommend reading), and then goes into the infamous, unending and slow advancing DeicideArrancar Arc which could have been summarized in an 8th part of it's length.

I must admit that I stopped reading after finishing that second arc, as the next one didn't quite hook me a lot. This means I'm not doing this manga justice by reviewing only the first part of it (still that's over 400 episodes for 2 story arcs, and only the first 180 seem enjoyable ).

So to sum up the good and bad points of this manga:

Good Points
-The art
-The first story arc and the jokes we find in it all together
Characters like:
-Kenpachi, but not even him can save the plot from becoming dull and slow
-Kon

Bad points
-Story after 1st Arc
-Main character power levels at a ridiculous pace
-This may be the first manga I read that the bad guys personality matches it's story arc: slow unending buildup that looks more like filling content of an anime that goes faster than the manga, which has absolutely no relevance in the end
-Side characters, with a couple of exceptions seem to play absolutely no role at all in the story (call me biased, but interesting side characters is something that made me love Rave Master, Fairy Tail, One Piece, Full Metal Alchemist, etc)
