Elegant, surprisingly short, with gorgeous art, well written; all this things combine together to create a beautiful experience of dread, sadness, melancholy, suspense and platonic love in the dark corners of a city where unheard evils occur to the most innocent, kids.

This story not only create a very unique and new atmosphere to a formula before used in the Toaru series, but enriches and complexes its universe through coherence in its characters and plot lines.

It's like a well made clock, the start is highly interesting and visually compelling. Its end allow us to think that this isn't over.
But the most important thing for me, this story is a tragedy in a world full of fantasy. The question here is ineludible, what is the price that this world have to pay for its fantasy? The answer lies in the broken minds of its young inhabitants, being left alone in the hands of corrupted men and their corrupt means.

A short but nonetheless masterpiece tragedy. Like a well Hollywood movie, has its start, has its end.
