Platinum End review

Almost the sister Manga to Death Note I admittedly had a really enjoyable time with the story so far.

In case you have read my Death Note review I'll attempt to save you (and myself) some time trying to summarise its themes.

This Manga in style and (almost) in execution is almost the exact opposite of Death Note but in a surprisingly darker (under the surface) and broader scope.

One of the potential flaws I argued against Death Note has seemingly been taken care of in this series is its almost tunnel vision on its world building and its dominant emphasis on its characters although here is the presentation of the opposite.

A majority of this story is focused on its world and challenging broader and more complex themes hidden beneath a somehow blissful yet bittersweet characters/character development.

Compared to my previously reviewed All You Need Is Kill, this story both feel far more fleshed out and thought out.

But this can also be a negative since a lot of this series has been a wordy experience although beneath this there is definitely a breath of quality and it certainly deserved a solid 8/10.
