Bravely Default: Flying Fairy review

I'll try to write this review without thinking about the game this manga was based on, because the game did the story FAR better than this manga.

Starting off, you will immediately fall in love with these characters, because they are all hilarious and great individuals to just see interact throughout the story. If only the story could hold up. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent story, but it's so RUSHED. (Also the fact that the ending deviates from the game so hard that you don't even know why the person orchestrating everything is doing all of this, leaving you severely unsatisfied.) It starts off at a good pace, but it just goes faster and faster until everything all of a sudden happens at once and it kinda kills it. Next is the art. This manga had some pretty great art, and combined with the characters, did have me laughing at times. It's nothing spectacular, but it gets the job done. I did enjoy this for what it was, I just wish it didn't skip so much. Overall, I do like this manga, but without knowing the story from playing the games, it might be a little difficult to even understand everything chapters 17 and beyond.
