Biohazard: Heavenly Island review

Story - 7
Resident Evil strikes back and gaddamn, did it strike back with a bang. I'll say one thing and one thing only, PUSS.....*clears throat* Eh, where were we? The story? Right right right, you got a swim suit model's competition on a mysterious island where a zombie virus breaks out. You get the gist of what happens next. They survive through it while trying to uncover the island's secrets.

Art - 9
The art is the best selling point of this manga. Very detailed. All I saw at the beginning were EYE CANDIES!!!!! Oh mamma mia. I'm sure you'll see them too once you start reading. I mean, this is Naoki Serizawa we're talking about here!!

Character - 6
Eh.....Claire Redfield was in it (Chris made somewhat of a 'cameo' appearance if I can use it in this instance), and very few other classic RE characters appeared in it. Everyone else is pretty new. You got eye candies (so lovely looking) dying left and right, FUCK!! At the end, only one survives though (as a human, that is). I'd give Tominaga my MC label. There's nothing special about him at first but he eventually mans up.

Enjoyment - 7
This is a zombie outbreak manga, survival is my forte, of course I'll enjoy this. The action was there. You got different types of the infected. It was gory to an extent. Good good in my book.

Overall - 7
This is a quick read to enjoy for what it is. Resident Evil in manga form. Zombies and different B.O.W's take the cake. The art brought it all out. As a fan of RE movies and the games (somewhat), this is good. You don't even have to be a fan, as for the most part, you can jump head first into this and read. Just a few references here and there.

Infact, amma pull an Eminem move right now (8 Mile movie anyone?). Fuck all y'all, fuck everybody, fuck this review. WHERE MY EYE CANDIES AT!!!!! Uh..... Amma have to end the review here, I gotta jump back to the beginning of the manga real quick. Cheers!!
