Absolutely amazing. What can I say that hasn't been said?
Whoever is reading this review and saying to himself "Eh, should I read Berserk? I'm not really into medieval stuff..." Should square up and read it. It's one of the most amazing experiences modern literature can provide.

Not only the art is consistently fantastic 99% of the time, the characters are well written. Fantastically written. The writing isn't bound to 'good vs evil' themes, but actually to humans and humans actions. The story isn't much of a "bigger picture" kind of story, but of making our characters the bigger picture.

There is so much, TOO much, to talk about when wanting to write about Berserk. You should read it.
