"Dabu!" - Kaiser de Emperana Beelzebub IV, otherwise known as Beelzebub.

I'm going to be as unbiased as possible so please bear with me. Warning this review contains a few spoilers.

Summary- The great demon lord has sent his son, Beelzbub, out to be raised by a human in order to destroy humanity. This human is known as Oga Tatsumi a human who is "strong, arrogant, and thinking nothing of his fellow man".

I know it's very Ironic!

Story- The summary itself explains the beginning of the story quite well. As far as story development goes. It had some strong points an example being in the beginning. Oga is a dastardly bastard and spends a good portion of the plot is him trying to rid himself of Beelzebub. A weak point being the introduction of demon powers and such. I know that this can be a little discouraging but there isn't a lot of time and emphasis invested on these demon powers. This manga even retains its comedic like aspects throughout the whole series. It even goes as far to not only reference but reenact a cliched Dragon Ball Z fight. Do not, and I repeat do not come to this manga expecting there to be lots of romance. It's a shounen. Although there is quite a bit unrequited love due to the fact Oga is another one of those block headed main characters who are incredibly dense and only focus on their own goals.

Art- Personally, I had no problem with it. All that can be said. Doesn't focus too much on trying to show off certain body parts. Fight scenes are a bit a cliched but also abstract in a sense too. As for fan service there is a fair amount.

Character- Each of the main characters had their own time for development. They each have their own spotlight with either Beelzebub or Oga, if not both. Whether it be fighting with or against them.

Enjoyment- Personally i enjoyed it A LOT :D. Although there were things about this which I would prefer to be changed. Like the quick ending due to decrease in popularity. I did enjoy the story, art and characters!

Overall- For a Shounen there's a few rough edges around this manga but it does have a smooth feeling to it though. Like the introduction of other demons may have last some fans, BUT it doesn't put heavy emphasis on it. The art should not be a problem. Characters are a bit unique even though they have their own cliches to them. As for enjoyment, if you can get around the fact there are some holes in the manga. I'm sure you'll come to enjoy it too.
