Modern criminal action is a rare and unique setting for japanese manga and anime. And I think it`s awesome setting which the author filled with impact characters and exposition.

But there is a feeling that Rei Hiroe simply doesn`t know what to do next. He just doesn`t understand crime scene, how bandits look like, act, speak and why they do what they do, which is natural for a citizen of such a safe country as Japan, actually... So everything looks fake, cheap and patterned, as for me. And terribly overloaded with politics in the last chapters too.
