Samurai Usagi review

I have been reading this series for a while and now that i've finally completed the thing, i can finally write a review for the manga.

There's one typical thought in everybody's mind when we read historical genre manga. It'll be about some historical characters or the setting will be a difficult point to understand since most of us aren't familiar withe the elements, thus making the manga a difficult piece to understand.

But that wasn't the case with Samurai Usagi.

It starts out with a slow paced daily life setting, but then gets you on a action packed ride for instances filled with mild comedy here and there.
Udagawa Gosuke, basically a kid, is a bushi descendant. After his father died , he decides to look after his father's dojo along with his wife Shino.
between these married kids one can sense the felling of uneasiness and lack of knowledge to support each other. But they still get along well. Then comes the plot, several kinds of people applying to the dojo, the poor conditions of Gosuke cause of being an unknown bushi, anti-heroes, the stuffs and much more, we see these two getting out of their shells and opening up to each other and being happy together is what they only desire.

The characters were enjoyable, setting was good, the plot was good element too.
But there were certain areas where the manga lacked to create an impact, like when there are so many interesting characters to tell their own stories, i felt like they weren't explored so much in the manga.
Story - 7
Art - 9
Character- 7
Overall - 8
There comes your most awaited moment in the manga, the boss fight, and the story ends without it..... (REALLY?)
many things were left unresolved to leave behind a sense of dissatisfactio , BUT!
Even though the manga is half baked, there is still an enjoyable feel to it, and u won't regret choosing this one as Your read when you're too free to care for the world~
Cookies or Shakes are highly recommended~! (^-^)/
