Shoot me, hang me up, and call me dinner, because that shit was Fucking DEEP.
In only 21 chapters I think I have never been more immersed in a story. The trauma that the characters go through is overwhelming, and to be honest It had me thinking more about life than ever before. In my opinion it is deserving of a larger recognition of what it has. The one reason I am not giving this a 9 or 10 is because I didn't find myself emotionally connected to the characters. That being said that is just my opinion and a different reader may completely connect with them. I think one reason was because there was little dialogue, and the story was short to begin with (this obviously was on purpose and adds to the story). Despite this The Horizon is a very good read and I would definitely recommend it!
