The Horizon review

I lot of people jumped on giving this manga a really high review. I read it as a quick read and I did enjoy myself but I would not recommend to anybody.

To be honest, it's great, it's not a masterpiece though.

The manga touches a lot on pure human existence and instinct. It's a manga a lot of people can relate to by simply being a human. Not to mention. it is very depressing and it does a great job of immersing you into the story. Honestly, it's more shocking than depressing, you feel like you are in the same position as the main character. A little boy who acts as though the world around him doesn't phase him but it's purely because he's in mental shock the entire time that blocks out his emotions.

You form a bond with the characters almost immediately, and there are barely any. There is also barely any dialogue, the story is told with it's beautiful art in such a splendid way. The art was captivating.

If you are very much into having a deep dive into human existence and getting to the deep essence of being human, loneliness and sadness alike. Sure, give it a read. It's not a a waste time of time.

Thank you.
