Shingeki no Kyojin review

The great thing about this manga, and there are waaaay more than one, is the fact it doesn't need to rely on good art because the story alone is simply awesome. I started reading the manga while waiting for season 3 of the anime, since I needed to experience Attack on Titan a bit more, hah. I was honestly a bit put off by the art and it took me quite a while to get used to it, but once I did it didn't bother me anymore. Furthermore, I knew it's worth the read. And, you know what, in the scale of things, how much does art matter anyway? Yes, I agree that outward appearances are important, because it's the first thing we notice, but if there's no good story line to make us keep reading then what's really the point? I've read very beautiful mangas/manhwas/webtoons, and their plot was just bad. Good art does not equal a good piece of work. I believe Hajime Isayama is a very talented author and Attack on Titan will always remain as one of my favourite mangas and animes of all time. It gave me a lot of wonderful characters, great story line and a unique kind of enjoyment I very, very rarely get from anything else.
