Before I begin the anime really made me decide for the first time in my life to buy a manga instead of reading online. The story and the ost touched me deeply. But the story is not the full story without the manga. And for that manga really is pure and beautiful and adds more depth to characters even more than the anime.

he relationship between Midori and Senji touched a deep part of my soul. Seeing Senji change. Seeing Midori overcome her own fear of self. Seeing so many characters fill me up with a sense of wonder, joy, and sadness.

The final message about facing reality. About cherishing the short time you spend with people. About facing your fears. I do not regret it at all. Despite the bizarre premise of this manga it is one of the pure and lovely stories that touched the depth of my own being and soul. I wish to read more of Inoue's work.
