Love Hina review

I think Love Hina was the first complete manga I ever read. When someone lent me one of the volumes, I became hooked and decided to buy all 14 volumes. That's how much I loved it.

Story (8):
Love Hina is basically a cliché love story with many funny/unexpected/weird twists in it. This is what I like about it. It turns an overused topic into a very enjoyable read.

Art (9):
The art in Love Hina is "nice to look at". Meaning, there's not an exagerated amount of details (so much you can't distinguish the character from the background), but not too little either. In opinion, I think it's just right. The covers are also pretty and colourful.

Character (9):
If this is about the characters in the story, then let me tell you that each character is unique. They're all very different from each other but get along perfectly despite this. This is another fact I apreciate in this manga: character variety.

Enjoyment (10):
Love Hina has a LOT of comedy in it. I laughed all the way through it non-stop and I think it's well incorporated into the story, regardless of the circumstances. It also has a few action scenes which made my jaw drop, since I wasn't expecting such a plot twist.

Overall (9):
Alltogether, I recommend this series to anyone who's into love stories, funny gags and plot twists. I didn't give it a 10 because there's always something that pushes it back to the 9, but it was (and still will be) one of my favourite manga series.
