Lost World review

I noticed that this didn't have a review, so I figured I would write one. Keep in mind that it has been some time since I read this particular title, but I think I remember it enough to write a serviceable review.

Story, 6 (VERY MINOR SPOILER INCLUDED): It was mostly sci-fi, though there were some thriller elements in the later chapters. I thought the plotlines involving the plant people were particularly interesting and worthy of note.

Art, 6: Given that this title is an older manga, I can't complain about the art too much. It's very reminiscent of Western comics and was pleasing to look at.

Characters, 7: Most characters were decently fleshed out and had at least some logic behind their motivations. Several seemed a bit archetypal, but it wasn't much of an issue.

Enjoyment, 6: I remember this was kind of a slog for me. It was interesting, but I wasn't exactly enraptured with the story as a whole.

Overall, 6: While I think there were some very cool plotlines and solid characters, I would feel odd rating it higher than a 6. I would recommend this if you want to see an older sci-fi title that isn't Astro Boy, but it may not be for everyone due to its pacing and older style of storytelling.
