This is probably the best manga/manhwa I have read all year, and I have read a lot. It will probably remain one of the best things I have read all my life for many years to come, and the characters will for sure stay with me for a long time.
At first glance Let Dai seems like your regular angsty story, but it-Let Dai- is levels beyond that, it's so well developed in so many aspects. The characters are so well rounded, so unique that they seem to have a pulse that beats against the paper they are so beautifully drawn against.
At first I wasn't as entranced by the art but it grew on me and I realized that the characters couldn't be portrayed as perfectly had the art been different.
The best part for me was without a doubt the writing, the style of the author is so beautiful it reads like poetry, the excerpts of poetry the author included were also perfect for their designated scenes.
And finally, the pacing of the story, and the plot make it so engaging that I could not put it down, I finished it in the span of a few days and I stayed up till ungodly hours as I was desperate for more but I did not want it to ever end. It's definitely something I'll be rereading though, maybe if I read it next time I'll enjoy the writing even more.
