Last Game review

Everywhere we look today, we see the cliche romantic love-at-first-sight scenario.

What we don't see is how time works behind the scenes to make love blossom.

Last Game is an extremely realistic example of how real life is: we meet people and we may fall in love, but such romances are often only ephemeral. Usually, it isn't until we stay by him or her for a long time that trust and bonds actually develop between both parties.

In addition, this manga creates wonderful character development without making it too far-fetched. They do not over-stretch backstories as some manga do, and take care of their side-characters as well as their main ones. Last Game is able to recreate feelings through the many scenes that show up throughout the story as well.

Naturally, it isn't completely void of cliche. Despite this and the realism applied in this manga, squeals and extreme fangirling are probably going to be present if you make the decision to read it. No matter how realistic it gets, it's still absolutely adorable and wonderfully crafted.

Overall, this manga is a strong 10/10. It was extremely enjoyable and definitely a shoujo-go-to.
