Story: This manga is written in a very unique way. It is not a traditional manga in the sense it is a story told with good guys and bad guys. This is essentially an autobiography, or a memoir. It jumps from one point in the authors life, back to the author on that day drawing the scene itself and speaking directly to the audience. It is good, but my only complaint is that it's VERY wordy. Like, sure it's 34 chapters, but it's a real grind to get through it. There's lots of info and dialogue. But it builds well. The pace is a bit slow, but it's got a good overall message behind the manga.

Art: Good, I score it a 7. Even though there are points where it's sloppy (the point of the manga is the story told, not so much an emphasis on amazing scenes), since the author is just doodling essentially, she can jump between a sloppy art style to a completely different style. It's actually really neat. But since there isn't much emphasis on the importance of the art, I found it fine.

Character: The characters are good, though since it's essentially a memoir they don't have much importance. The main character is the author, and by the end of the manga you get a good sense that the author is just a down to earth, do-gooder who doesn't want to disappoint anyone. It's not something that someone can poorly write, as it's based on real characters and someone's life lol.

Overall, it's a good manga. Do I recommend it? Probably not. It's really long, but there are good portions to it, but the length and description can get boring. I know this was based on real life, but it's true. I'm not actually quite sure why it's rated so high on MAL. Perhaps it's good insight to aspiring manga authors? Anyways, that's it. It's good. Just not good enough for me to score it a strong 8.
