Hades-sama wa Okinodoku-sama review

This was the first volume of manga I ever bought online and translated for myself.
...Maybe I'm biased for that reason, but I can genuinely say that I love this manga from the bottom of my heart. I loved it so much that I feebly attempted to typeset the first chapter all by myself for others to enjoy and hopefully pick up, lol.

First of all, the art is very smooth & I really enjoy the artist's style. I especially love the expressions, or more specifically Hades' expressions, and the lil moe fucking blushes (on both Hades and everyone else) that make me want to cry.
May or may not have actually cried more than once. Like... why is Hades so cute? Why does that make me so damn happy?

The characters are really well made, I think. I was really shocked when affections were confirmed in the very first chapter - it's refreshing, really. I also love Hades' design and his lil monocle, and the author's representation of Aphrodite and Athena - and of course Elvira. Bless her, tbh.
I love Elvira's stoic-ness around Hades and both of their clueless & hopelessness. I get so many warm fuzzy feelings.

The story isn't the most unique obviously, but I like the twist it has on greek mythology. I mean, it's bordering on a 4-koma manga so I'm not even sure how to rate the story pfft.
The character development happens reallllly smoothly & there was no... er, ~edgy moments~... which was both shocking and relieving considering it's a romance manga.

The comedy was actually really good, and I laughed even more than I have in other manga that are centered solely around comedy. I love the interactions with the other employees (attendants? idk).
Overall, I love this manga a lot and I hope a team ends up picking it up so more people can experience it in English :)
