A manga to rival Berserk or any of the greatest manga ever made.
The story is an amazing roller coaster with a bunch of imaginative characters, that all get a certain amount of development.
You won't find a bloodier and more brutal manga, the art is different but very polished and wholly Hiroya Oku style.
Only a few manga get me too completely be mesmerized and unable to stop reading.
If you haven't read this manga you are missing out, as no adaptation has been up to the task. Therefore the manga is the best way to live this story.
