Aiki review
Ever spent 8 hours doing something that's both boring AND a waste of time? If you haven't, then read this manga. At the end, you will be able to say to yourself "I have finally wasted 8 hours of my life reading an incredibly shitty manga for absolutely no reason".
Where to begin with how much this manga sucks? Well, let's start with the surface and work our way in. First of all, the art sucks ass. It looks like it was drawn by an amateur. Sure, you can get a kick out of the amusing facial expressions, but after 50 chapters it gets kind of boring. And it's not like Murata's One-Punch Man, where the main character is drawn like shit on purpose and the rest of the characters are drawn seriously for comedic effect. There is not a single properly, seriously drawn page in this whole manga. The art style is inconsistent in a bad way. All the girls are drawn like whores when close up. The story is pretty much boring as fuck. Main guy is a gary stu who's so good at martial arts he's invincible, and has a harem of girls who he fucks. He goes somewhere to beat up some bad guys and comes back to japan at the end. Wow, so original. There is not a single nugget of wisdom to be found within this entire manga. It's supposed to be about martial arts, but it's more like magic. Characters can dodge bullets and do that flash-step thing. Moves that are wildly unrealistic and totally fantastical like that fist of the north start fist-spamming move. Above all nothing changes in the plot whatsoever. I can't remember anyone significant who died. Certainly none of the main characters died, not even the villains. I guess you could call it a comedy, except it's not funny. Anyway the manga is pretty much just shit. I'd recommend people to not read it. |

I really wish I had Joukyuu as my master. This guy keeps it real most of the time.
It also goes to show you how power always corrupts in some sort of way. This manga is definitely not for kids. But the thematic elements really die down after the first arc. I think it has a very good mix of elements: Comedy, Ecchi, and MARTIAL ARTS. The story was lacking but I still found myself enjoying it. But if you like "Historys Strongest Disciple Kenichi" Or "Tenjo Tenge" I think its well worth looking into. |

Super Duper recommendation:- |AIKI|
Synopsis: Kunitoshi was so strong in his martial arts and he doesn't put it on good use or make the most of it and because of that his father drugged him and removed his strength by dislocating every bone of his body by few millimetres. He has since been approached by both Miu and Kizuki as a means of strengthening either side of their civil war. -Although, I read this manga back in 2012 but never bothered to recommend it because the ending is like a slap to the face, until now, I realized that it actually has a sequel called "Aiki-S" which began serializing in 2013. Now, I got every reason to recommend this gem. The MC might remind you of Onizuka from GTO except Kunitoshi gets the pussy. He literally fucks a chick at the start of the series and continues his sex spree. This series stands out the most from the rest in this genre because he is OP as fuck, he is not dense or ignores chicks n shit and not to forget most of the harem/ecchi series revolves around sex but that never happens most of the time. Well, that isn't the case here. Genres:-Action, Ecchi, Martial Arts, Romance, School, Harem, Seinen, Comedy Plot:-10/10 (The main reason why I didn't recommend it because the ending is a major turn off. MC was in a middle of returning to get back to the original story, but then it ends without any sign for a sequel. I thought, it got axed or something and never looked back again. Aside from that, the story as a whole is absolutely great and hilarious as fuck.) Characters:-9/10 (You gonna love Kunitoshi. It feels great to see how he breaks his limit one by one in each fights, his favorite quote "You are not alone, If you are in trouble we are there for you. Together we are strong". {There are many types of songs like this just so many. There are plenty of people who can't do anything by themselves. However don't you think they do just to hide their own incompetence? Isn't that just a means to cheer oneself for being poor and hopeless?}) Art:-8/10 (Don't expect much this. The faces are poorly drawn sometimes, it is an old manga from 2005, but rest assured the fight scenes are well executed.) Enjoyment:- Over 9000 (This series might not be everyone's cup of tea. Some might even hate this because MC hits girls, he doesn't care whether it is he or shit. He sometimes tries rape tactics to lure chicks into fighting him. Nonetheless, I enjoy it more than I expected.) |

i am gonna keep this review short. If you like the main character you will love this manga. if you hate him then it will be a 0/10. that is why the reviews for this is so over the place. this manga has some decent fight scenes and has an overpowered MC. Its borderline H but the story isn't controlled by it.
The MC is also training girl students and with the borderline H tag it can get kind of interesting. This isn't a must read but if you in the mood to read a cool overpowered MC kick butt then give it a shot. |

I agree with the previous review, but with out meaning any offense , hes also short changing this manga a little bit as as well.
With out a doubt , there is a strong line of comedy ,that runs through out the entire series , that make it stand out from others in the crowd. It is funny as well as all the other tings typical of this genre. I found it a little slow in the begging , but as it moved on , it really did get better and better. So yeah , its worth a look and keep wit it , for it does get better. |
