First of all, this review is an absolute big RAMBLE session so if you expect something that is very nicely constructed and worded..im sorry lmao. I never write reviews but I felt too strongly towards this manhwa that I had to make one.

ok so,, i am absolutely not a person who is good at writing reviews or even good at voicing my opinion in any way, shape, or form so i may not be the best at doing this kind of stuff,, so take my words as a grain of salt- if you may. But honestly, as I said, my feelings toward this manhwa were too strong to NOT write a review.

ok, so first: i really loved how this manhwa started. the characters were very likeable and I really did care for them in the story. It was a very compelling read, I actually finished everything in a few hours (didnt even last a day tbh). Overall, the art was great (absolute 10/10), the characters were great and likeable, the story was nice...UNTIL THE FUCKING ENDING.

(starting on from here its spoilers galore so if you havent read this yet I advise you stop here oof)
ok, so everything was good, fine and dandy..until the author decided to form this love triangle including yeonho's father???? honestly ever since she said that she realized that she has feelings for the dad, I WAS ABOUT TO ABSOLUTELY GO THE FUCK OUT- but no, i was too invested in the story and the characters to do that. so I kept on reading. but as i went on..i started realizing how fucked up it is that it felt like young-un was literally cheating on yeon-ho with his fucking father. i mean yes, the father and her didnt like kiss and fuck and shit..but the feelings were there. and young-un acted like it was all ok. she liked spending time with the dad and basking in her feelings for him even though her boyfriend is literally HIS SON and as this fiasco went on i just started to feel uncomfortable and discouraged while reading.

also, lastly, the ending FELT SO RUSHED. it didnt feel like a nice complete closure to the story at all. young-un never realizes that what she felt for his dad was wrong and it all just ends with this hug between the two on young-un's graduation day (after yeonho went missing for about a billion years)..and that's it. I am just generally, really dissatisfied and disappointed. I still hoped that it didnt end that way. I'm still giving it a 7..because I absolutely loved everything in this manhwa aside from the things I mentioned, and I will continue so.

Anywho, sorry for the ramble.
I just really want to know what the author was thinking when she decided that that love triangle would be a good idea :((. This could've been an absolutely great 10/10 for me. I'm still sad.

(spoiler stops)🌟
Would I reccomend for you to read this? Well if you ask me, then yes. Read it. At the end of the day the story was very compelling and it was the type of story in which you couldn't put it down- even when I didnt like how the story was going, I was still very invested. So, if you want to read something that is refreshing and you-cant-put-it-down type of thing I would definitely suggest this.

(spoiler here oopfs)
Just dont read the parts where she starts having feelings for the dad because you might throw your phone through the window or some shit. I know from experience ;(

I've only read the first 6 chapters of this, because that's all I could find, but it's a really engrossing and suspenseful story and I'm almost frantic for the next chapter. I feel like it needs some support on MAL.
The plot starts with a wild, out of control high school boy, Yeon-Ho, who gets into physical fights a lot, these two other guys who are searching for him but don't know who he is because the rest of the student body is too scared of Yeon-Ho to tell them. Then there is this high school girl, Young-Un who is very popular with guys, and has had lots of boyfriends. We first see her breaking up with her latest boyfriend, and we get a false impression of her that's quickly revealed to be slightly off. This makes her character more 3-dimensional than it otherwise would be and levels the field between her and the mystery surrounding Yeon-Ho, and she actually turns out to be a strong and intuitive, smart person (rare in shoujo). She helps him and then he helps her and they become sort of entangled. She realizes quickly how alone this kid is and that he doesn't seem like he has anyone he can depend on. Everything in this story is not rose-colored, and romance is not at the forefront of the action. Somehow, these two people get involved with each other and every time it seems like they are going to drift away from each other, events conspire to throw them together again. It's a compelling read and totally worth your time.
The premise may seem like a classic shoujo type plot but the interactions between the high school characters are a lot more nuanced than other shoujo. Earlier I called the story suspenseful, but it's almost more like the way the story is told is what is really suspenseful. There are mysterious backstories that are only revealed through certain interactions with characters. We meet and see and are regularly reminded of the characters' parents. This is rare and I think should be valued. Updates are sadly not frequent but I think that this is the type of manwha that will gather a larger following later on. The art is clean and conveys emotion with bold dark lines and high contrast for intensity alternating with light greys for delicacy. The artwork actually shows more of an appropriate variation and mirroring of the action it conveys than many other mangas I've read, where it seems like the story planning, drawing, and actually dialogue seem to have been written or planned at different times.

Overall, I totally recommend this to anyone! You should read it!

A lot of these reviews with the 9's and 10's are a complete joke. They haven't even read the full manhwa.

What I could recommend, is you DO NOT READ it and here's why

Let's start off with something quite positive which is the Art. The art was really decent in my opinion meanwhile the other aspects of this manhwa didn't give much justice to the art at all.

------------SPOILERS AHEAD-------------------

At some point in this manhwa, the female mc would start to develop feelings for the male mc's dad. Of course, this was interesting and it had the potential to develop the characters even more. But here's the damn catch. This conflict was never resolved until the end of the manhwa and it got even worse.

After that chapter, the female mc would show a lot of enjoyment when she's with the male mc's dad; meanwhile, when she's with the male mc, which is her boyfriend, she doesn't give that enthusiastic feel and always leaves the male mc hanging with the authors trying to justify that she was just trying to help the dad and the male mc improve their relationship.

In the end, this was never resolved and the ending felt really rushed even if both mc's ended up together. Even though they end up, I still have that lingering feeling of the female mc trying to cheat or seduce the male mc's dad. For someone who's been in a lot of relationships, the female mc was insensitive af which just further aggravates the main character's depression

Overall - 3/10

It was bad and it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I do not recommend this manhwa if you want to sleep well at night.
