Sommaire
One day, a mysterious rabbit-eared man named Peter suddenly appears in Alice's garden and kidnaps her, whisking her off to a dangerous world where every resident brandishes a weapon. Trapped in this land in the midst of a three-way power struggle, Alice accepts an offer to stay at the Hatter's mansion. At the mansion, Alice meets the Hatter's right-hand man, Elliot March, who is likable and charming and... also sports a pair of bunny ears! And yet, Alice cannot get over the fact that Elliot is actually a Mafia hitman, willing to kill people without hesitation... In this popular Wonderland manga, the March Hare has finally arrived!!

Heart no Kuni no Alice: My Fanatic Rabbit review
Story
Its a great romance with Alice and Elliot . It shows them bond a form with them before they fall in love and show there struggles showing they aren't perfect. Its nice to see a couple who has flaws every now and then. The setting and the world they live in is interesting and a twist to the wonderland concept. I think its a creative story with ideas executed well. Characters Alice is a well developed protagonist and is my favorite character. She is interesting and seeing her struggles is endearing. Elliot is a interesting character also , to understand why he acts was a great plot twist and brings his character up. He is also the most funniest. The rest of the cast is likable but not that developed ,grant it there is a bunch Alice manga so Ill eventually learn the rest of the characters but for now they aren't that well developed. Art Its pretty and greatly drawn by shoujo standards. It looks nice and everything works well. Nothing wrong here. Overall :8 Its a great romance manga with strong main characters, pretty art,and an interesting story and settings. The likable but under develop side characters hold it back a bit from a 9 but other then that the manga is well written, I highly recommend it for romance fans who want a taste of something differnt. |
Heart no Kuni no Alice: My Fanatic Rabbit review
WARNING: Spoilers. Read at own risk.
The reason I gave the story a 7 is because it has a decent storyline. There was a decent plot and the story does build up some tension. However, sometimes that tension is cut off at certain points. The art is good, one of the good art styles among the many artists who drew for this series. I didn't like the characters that much. Alice could have been a more developed character in my opinion. Elliot was ... somewhat weird in this volume. I frankly did not like one scene were he tried to... no, not spoiling it. I've noticed when reading the other books (Clover, for example) that the love interest is somewhat... possessive. Julius seems to be everyone's punching bag, which although shows how Julius is not liked by society well, it's always bothers me. Why Julius? Although, this book did show why Elliot was jealous and spiteful of Julius unlike other books. I somewhat enjoyed it. I did enjoy reading certain points but some I didn't enjoy... Overall, if you like these books, I guess its a fair read. |
