I'm only giving this a rating of 2 because the art is kinda cute. That's the only reason keeping me from giving it a 1. Yes, it is THAT shitty. So, since it's an anthology, let's break this review down in 3 parts.

First story: Kidnapping
So basically, this human guy kidnaps a vampire princess and she falls in love with him after being on his house for a few nights. Uhhhhmmm??????????????????????????????????????????????

They barely have a talk that's not aggressive. The guy HAAAAATTTTTTEEEESSSS vampires, and while he doesn't rape her, he's not exactly kind either. And yet, he's handsome, so... guess it's a good enough reason for the princess to fall in love with him??????????

Second story: Arranged Marriage
This story follows the first couple's son. He's the prince and for some reason (that is never quite explained), he gets married to a human princess. But the princess' family is wary of him because... you know... he's half vampire.

So her father makes her drink a potion that makes her blood be poisonous to vampires. Ok. Despite them legitimatelly being married, they never even kiss so the princess immediately thinks "oh, what a gentleman! And he's handsome too! I should totally fall in love with him even though we never spoke".

It is later revealed that the prince has met her once before but it was when she was a kid and honestly, does THAT count as having a conversation? Meh.

Third Story: 🎶 Dude looks like a lady 🎶

Okay, so that's a spoiler. But honestly, that pissed me the fuck off into oblivion.

The princess in this third story is the granddaughter of the second story couple. She wants to marry out of love and not out of duty (noice!). So she disguises herself as an average woman and goes out to the street to just... find love, I guess.

And then she bumps into a woman. A very beautiful woman. And she gets flustered and they become friends and I sweat to god, if you ever read this, you'll certainly SHIP both of them!!!

I thought this would be my favourite story out of the 3 and that it would be very interesting (I mean, they'd feature a lesbian couple in victorian era! And they're both kind of vampires! That's so cool!!!)... except...

It was a dude. It was a man wearing lady's clothes and using a wig and padding and a lady name because he was escaping from his marriage proposal or some shit like that.

*long sigh*

By this point I'm just way too disappointed at this lost opportunity that I just rushed through the end and I'm not sure how they ended up together, but you KNOW they did. Anyway...

This could've been a really cool short anthology, but all of the stories were rushed, uninteresting, the characters were all flat and... it's just a huge waste of time. There's other cute manga out there with actual good stories.

This review mostly contains how I felt while reading this manga. I didn't write much about what the stories are about since there isn't really that much to tell coz all of them are one shots. Haha.

First Story: The Lie Becomes Love Under the Moon

Lame. The story was a collection of puking trigger lame dialogues. I mean c'mon when the main guy introduced himself it was something like "I am Shade Avantine, I am the fearsome alchemist you vampires call the demon Earl of Garland" I was like, uhmmm dude, you being fearsome instantly vanished the moment you said you're fearsome. Heaven's bells! No fearsome character would say I am the fearsome blabla it's so lame. And don't even get me started with the heroine. A super naive bordering on being so stupid kinda personality. There is a fine line between a character who believes in the goodness of people and someone who is just plain stupid you can trick her into killing herself. I'm not even sure why the title is that coz huh? I don't know where the title is in anyway reflected in the story. Plot wise I don't like anything about the first story but the art is great so there's that.

Second Story: The Bride and the Prince

The second story is connected to the first but unlike the first story which almost made me wanna kill someone, this one is so cute! I like it! It's simple and not really that great yes, but Prince Arnaud and Princess Cristina are just so cute. The plot was average but everything is just so much better than the first. Prince Arnaud (the first story heroine's younger brother) is charming and Princess Cristina is so likeable! I know that this is a one shot story so falling in love with each other should be fast paced but unlike the first one which happened in a very lameass way this one is enough to not raise my brow. Haha.

Third Story: The Beautiful Lady and the Vampire

As all stories are connected from different timelines, this one happens a few generations after the first and second story. Princess Josette, a quarter of a vampire is the grand daughter of the second story protagonists Prince Arnaud and Princess Cristina. Josette or Josie for short wants to marry for love and have a love story same as her grand parents which found love with each other. As she searches for her love she stumbled upon a girl named Stella and everything follows after that. Haha. See? I cannot even write the plot coz it will reveal the whole story. Nevertheless it is not a yuri or shoujo ai story so you can guess now that Stella turns out to be a guy named Eric and of course in the end as everything in this whole series ends, they end up together. The story is okay and Josette is likeable and not at all annoying.

I blame that all the stories in here are formatted as one shots MAYBE that is why there's very limited story the mangaka can write. But huhu I know it is not an excuse. One shot stories can be better than this! Nevertheless it did not annoy the crap out of me (except for the first one) so I guess all in all I can say that I recommend it to anyone who just wants to pass the time and besides the art is great. Just a little warning: DO NOT EXPECT MUCH. It's okay I'll give you that but it is not something I'm gonna crave and read again like ever. It is just a one shot for just a one time read.
