Maoyuu Maou Yuusha

When i first found this manga just from the title maou i expected it to be the typical hero trying to beat the demon king kind of story however it isn't.This series is heavily politically just the summary should tell you that instead of the typical hero and demon king fighting this breaks that cliche in the first chapter.The demon queen convinces the hero that their fight will do nothing for the world whether the humans or demons win the war.The human society was literally depending on the war to continue for it to survive if it stopped many people would starve to death and millions of people would die.This is something i have never seen a series like this explore nobody ever considers what happens after the war that is why i like this series.And it continues from that to the demon queen trying to work towards humans and demons some day coexisted.This series displays a lot about economics.If you want something different this is a series you should check out.

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha is unique and makes for a great read, both in terms of adventure and thought.

This manga certainly does have long walls of text, but they are not boring. I believe a unique trait of Japanese manga is it's ability to explain a certain topic in great detail, yet while driving off boredom. And, Maoyuu Maou Yuusha certainly does a great job at doing that. During my time at school, I would often fall asleep in class. Somehow the very idea of learning would make me tired. More often than not, I found myself sleeping trying to read a textbook or to the lullaby of a teacher's lecture. Yet somehow, reading explanations of economics from Maoyuu Maou Yuusha not only did not put me to sleep, but it captured my attention and egged me on to read more.

The story didn't just teach me something, but it held me to attention through great storytelling. The character interactions and comedy kept me interested and flipping through the pages while the overarching plot slowly and surely comes together.

A random thing is that I love the author's choice to not use names for characters and instead characters are referred to by their profession/role. I feel like this directs focus in a direction that fits the vibe of the story.

There are many different variations (I'm not sure if they should be called spinoffs), and they're all great.

Enough rambling from me. I've really enjoyed reading so far, and I hope that you will too.

Wow! The plot was very well done like it had been spent a lot of time and effort on. The comedy parts WERE there, along with a little bit of romance.
But considering young audiences (like me), the political parts might be a bit "stressful"... I like the manga version more than the anime version, since Maou was portrayed better in manga.
Because the manga involved a lot of political stuff so (for me) it was quite a heavy manga to read. But overall, it was amazing considering how detail the content was!
(I wonder if the writer studied politics in university;;; It was scary how he invested so much effort into it!)
