Shinmai Fukei Kiruko-san

Shinmai Fukei Kiruko-san is one of the new serialization of the Shonen Jump along with Shogekuni no Soma and Hungry Joker, therefore i had to review it so let's get down to business...

Let's refresh your minds about the story in the first place : this story is about Anjou Haruki , a policeman, who has the responsability of training Kiruko-san, a rookie who is trying to become a policewoman but what he didn't know before accepting the task was that Kiruko is a former mercenary without an ounce of common sense.

After reading the synopsis , i was relieved because the story seemed different and that itself is always a good point because these days, many mangas tend to look like the other and having something new and fresh is always enjoyable.Anyways, the manga seems to be more like in the ''Slice of Life'' , ''Gag-manga'' type but with 2 huge differences which is basically that the plot from this point onward is limitless what i mean by that is that it can go anywhere AND that it can get really serious at times.Therefore, i wouldn't be suprised if it evolved in a Gag-manga with a serious aspect incorporated in it and that's what I've felt like after reading it. The characters are well done, they're unique and you can really get attached to them in a short-period of time.Furthermore, they're not the ''Cliche'' kind of characters that we see in many shonens so that's a very good point.

Now lets talk about the art because it's one of the thing that people either love or hate.The art is splendid, it completely fits the genre and I've fallen in love with the main character design besides i feel like it's very different than many other mangas artwise..

Finally, many people might think that this manga might not go really far and i believe that they're wrong! Why? Because the art is perfect, it brings a whole new concept storywise, the story potential is limitless and therefore it might get more serious with the incorporation of some strong enemies.

So let's summarize to make it clearer :
- the story concept is DIFFERENT
- the story fits more the Gag-manga style with a serious aspect at some points
- The art is splendid
- The characters personalities are unique and you can quickly get attached to them
- Art = Magnificient

So if you're looking for a laidback manga that is pretty fun/interesting to read and who will get better in the future, don't go anywhere this is for you!

PS: It reminded me of Detective Conan and Beelzebuub!
