The government uses genetic information to determine what people would be best matched to produce the best offspring possible. Once the youngest of the two is over 14 a letter is sent to both homes telling them when to meet at the coupling center, where they meet their new fiance and are given one week to get to know each other to see if they want to marry. There are multiple stories in this, each lasting a few chapters, telling different tales of how couples deal with their pairing.

Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga review
Well the manga presents us three different. I enjoyed two of them the one that I don't enjoyed was the one related to the video game, it was story that didn't catch my attention because most of it develops within a video game. The other two are good, and the development of the characters are good. On the last story there are some things that I think can be improved the story was very short and we couldnpt see how the couple became the happy family that it's showed at the end.
All the manga reminds me to Koi to uso manga in the aspect it uses the same story, the goverment decies who you must marry. To be honest the manga is short, just four volumes but they are enough to show us three differents stories. |
Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga review
******* NO SPOILERS *******
Little do we know in romance manga that there is not much further development in romance between couples. However asking myself the question we were to be paired up with our other half. It would be great right? Well this review is will be just looking at that one statement. Knowing this manga was short I wasn't not going to be surprised by the romantic development however as soon I finished the first arc. I knew this was something different, The need for more was always itching at the back of my neck. Even though I finished with the first partners and was very happy with the outcome. Sore wa Totsuzen Unmei no Aite ga describes the daily of 4 couples bounded by their 'Destiny' thought the coupling system, The writer really knew how to engage in every individual couple by setting a unique story focusing on each one differently. However they are not your average couple situation meetings with comedy and randomness but with a gene assesment that is carried out by a company when you are 14 years old which implements you in the coupling system which help people find their 'perfect' matches that when in love would offspring of great capabilities due to the compatibility of the couples genes. So every couple you will see in the manga will have a different story to the one before thus making it a fun and intresting way of different types of characterisations and situations you will see between them giving you a sense of accomplishment in every arc. This due to the characters being very funny and audience engaging in their own way. Although each couple have their own way of engaging in the manga but it still boils down to the same setting and place. From the art style I think is very creative and makes each scenes with the characters more engaging with the audience giving us a feeling we are actually there watching the story between the couples unfold. Here is a brief summary of the story being unfolded thought the different couples Yuuchi and Manami This is an insect coupling that was displayed by the system and to me it was a start of a very funny relationship. It includes an older brother and his younger sister. It is very funny and cute. Their progress in their relationship which makes me laugh so much. Jun and Mai A coupling between the school idol a normal teenager (With some background). This arc was more funny and a lot of scenes were classed as being ecchi. The girl (Mai) writes novel which are adult based but she is known as among the best writers which is paired with a odd but very nice guy (Jun) Nobukui and Muki This one really was interesting but that might be due to with my intrestes. it includes the daily life of 2 gamers who are coupled which sparks a romantic development between them in the real and virtual world. Takuya and Shiori Finally we have a coupling wait for it............. Between 2 cousins both being suprised due to their differences regarding family issues, However they thought by using opportunity they might be able to bring a hault a family issue regarding their parents. In doing so they are getting more attracted to each other by the solving their situation. Overall this manga is very good in bringing diffrent storys through the same setting but giving us a completly different view of characters who are thrown in these sitituations. This gives the reader a pleasure of enjoying the characters grow and develop in many different ways. I would highly recommend it if you are into Comedy and 'fast' romance (Due to the amount of chapters) |
Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga review
I read this one and thought it was a great romance-comedy story. It has a few stories and jumped around a bit between the few that were there but ended up greatly in the end. It made me laugh at the characters with a little bit of dramatic irony. I read it twice and would easily read it again a few times. Good manga to add to your list.

Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga review
I thought it would be just like any other romance-comedy manga with a single couple as lead and surrounding by side-characters, but...
The base concept because of which each love story progress due to the coupling program was the most interesting one. Upon understand the concept I thought there cannot much to the story once they are married or have a child; as I read through the story it was complete out of the charts, the concept of adding different rom-com stories into a single manga was a nice idea. Anyway, I still love this and would to read more stories. ——— Assuming it each volume contain single story with 6 to 7 chapters was quite low, the speed at which the relationship or the story (in general) was progress was very high, there should have been more chapters for each story. |
Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga review
4 short romance stories, all of which are original,
A strange premise; that is a government financed coupling system. 4 fuzziness inducing couples, all of which are believable, Relatable lovers, the endings made me miss 'em. Stories with no drama, denseness or strife, Simply stories about how they met their cute wife, Truly, why the fuck doesn't this partnering program exist in real life. ---- Jokes aside, this manga really is something. Are you tired of snail paced romance and the fucking denseness of MCs? Do you simply want romance and fluffiness? I swear, this is in my top 4 romance mangas, along with the hilarious Kaguya-Sama, the simple Horimiya and the (NOT KNOWN ENOUGH) fluffy godsend Tonikaku Kawaii. In the fluffiness and no bullshit waiting category, it is on par with Tonikaku Kawaii for top spot. (Mind you I've read quite some romance manga) This manga has a simple premise. There are four separate not interrelated stories that all share one thing, couples partnered by a government funded couple finder. (come on somebody pls make this in real life smh) It's straightforward, but all the stories are original. The couples are all really cute. The art is great, it doesn't put too much detail where it isn't needed and pssss... the girls are all cute and don't have an archetype plastered on them. They're all normal and have their own quirks. Btw, there's some nudity. My only problem is why didn't we see when they sleeo together and cuddle or something, mind you, there is more NSFW than that in the manga. It would've been so heartwarming. Still a masterpiece though. P.S. This part isn't a review, but I listed in order my preference for the couples. (male x female) 1. Takuya x Shiori 2. Nobuyuki x Miyuki 3. Yuuichi x Manami 4. Jun x Mai coincidentally my order for the girls is the same cough cough |
Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga review
Btw, this is my first serious review so please tolerate anything that isn't the norm for reviewers.
Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga is a manga that does something that few mangas can achieve. It satisfied me with ending(S) that would leave a smile on my face as i remember back to all the chapters that would lead to it. I had such a blast and a great time reading this that it killed me when i finished it. all the stories still linger in my head as it portrayed how perfect couples end up at the end of stories. The only problems i truly had was the incest story in the beginning but if you don't like that story, then just skip to the next because all of them are enjoyable depending on your tastes, if its a tsundere type (not completely strong) to completely cuties (really strong) finding the perfect match for each other. The only other problem i had was that it ended, though some may say that it feels rushed, i believe they are where they belong and i do not see a problem with them. Also please regard my review with the thought if it being possibly wrong because everyone"s opinion is different and im just stating my own. Now on to the sections. Story: 9 The story is two teenagers are assigned to each other due to computers that assign them for the best possible children. Damn what a simple and clean way to set up two people together and background. The main story is of course what i just stated and how they react and how they learn to enjoy each other. Art: 9 I am a man with high tastes with art as when my horny side comes on and i'm looking for some H manga/anime on myanimelist.net, i make sure the date is past 2011 or i just check on google images for my own judgement. This manga's art is good enough where i see no problem with it and it doesnt affect me at all when im reading so i give this a high score. Character: 10 I believe this is where the manga shines. Each character you learn to love (expect for one minor character and you'll see why) Period. no need to say more just read it yourself you'll enjoy them. Enjoyment: 9 I very much enjoyed this with all the guys perverseness (on some guys though) and the change that the girls go through as they learn more and more about their matched guy. Also, the comedy in this manga is a extra plus as i put a smile on my face every time. Overall: 10 If you find the average of all my scores, i shouldn't get a 10 as overall but the definition is the not mean of all the other scores, its when you feel the manga deserves and i believe it deserves a 10 without a doubt. But why read this review when you should be reading the manga, now go copy and paste "Sore wa Totsuzen, Unmei no Aite ga" on Google and read that beauty because I promise you (in my opinion) that you wont be disappointed. |
