The story revolves around a boy and a girl who travel together through a world that is gradually nearing its end. A mysterious illness has emerged that erases the very existence of everyone who suffers from it. The story does not, however, focus on the tragic aspect of this fairly post-apocalyptic setting, but rather shows the people and events the two travelers come across during their journey.

Tabi ni Deyou, Horobiyuku Sekai no Hate made review
Calling this an adventure story is not wrong, but if you read the story, it's more of a slice of life comedy story than an adventure.
Although a mid-apocalyptic story, most of the characters don't even show a sign of panic of despair, and that is what so good about this story. Instead of seeking salvation or praying for their life, they all find a way to keep themselves busy through the days, keep living like it's the last day of their life, enjoying it like it's the last moment of their life. This might not be a grand story of adventurers seek to destroy the demon king or finding new lands or explore old ruins, it's a simple story of a boy and a girl, on their journey to enjoy what might be the last moment of their life, a worthy read to enjoy your day. |
Tabi ni Deyou, Horobiyuku Sekai no Hate made review
Well, this light novel was pretty much amazing. Firstly the premise is new and fresh and the take on the post apocalyptic world is different, though I may have enjoyed it if it did have a LITTLE bit of a bigger focus on that side of the story. Although there is only one short book I had a fun time, the characters are pretty stereotypical, though, I don't know, maybe that's your cup of tea. The pictures were neat, their faces looked oddly small though... I kinda wish there was an ending to this small book, I'm not one for endings, but for some reason
I really crave a satisfying conclusion, but that's just me.
Side note: me personally I think 'STARS - you ex lover is dead' is a song that fits this ALMOST perfectly, just me though, also I dream of an anime, though I know that's never going to happen. |
