Gunmania review
I have a feeling that I was successfully trolled. I have no clue as to what I just read, but I think it's one of the best mini-series I have ever read. Gunmania is one of the best "random" manga I have ever read, but was so full of random, that I think that /b/ helped the mangaka write it. It'll leave you wondering "What did I just read?" while laughing.
A very short read, but a good one nonetheless. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Hiai Mousou review
A good example of how yandere horror stories should be done, in my opinion.
The story starts off in a very ecchi-ish manner, with bits of Kanade's craziness displayed here and there. This goes on for the first half of the manga, after which the story gets dark. There is no release in the build-up of suspense (as compared to something like Higurashi which has comedy here and there), and there is a very gradual descent into psychological horror with each chapter, indicating good pace. 8/10. The art is great. It's very clean, and if you like boobs and girls masturbating you'll love this. On the SFW side, the characters are well-drawn, nothing to complain about. 9/10. The characters aren't unbelievable and they complement the plot. The MC is the focus and the other characters are more or less in the background, and the MC's inner thoughts and feelings are well-developed. 9/10. Overall, if you like yanderes, boobs, and psychological horror, you will like this. 9/10.

Yoake Mae review
Just when I think I’m getting into better manga, I push my luck. This one had really no plot and was pretty much about a women fucking a younger guy. I seriously don’t know why they were so secretive about it though since she didn’t seem that much older then him. She also stayed with him even though he seems to be a rather abusive person so again, I have no clue what they were doing with this.
The artwork is actually a little less then others. I don’t know how to explain it but the characters seemed really odd. It was like they weren’t proportioned right. The black was really dark and the shading when there was some seemed put oddly on there. Once in a while, the lighting didn’t look right at all.

Renai Metro review
Overall: Decent
Story is pretty much what you expect, something you could see in just a few pages Character is also cliche, nerdy girl thinks of a laid back guy as a gangster. Girl like guy who likes a girl who is liked by another guy who asks for MC's help to separate them. Art was simple but messy, I felt like I could draw this myself in class. I had high expectations from the comments on the front page before I read this manga, anyway, I dropped it because the panel arrangements are impossible to read, felt like going through a maze with my eyes, so, sorry wouldn't recommend reading this.

Nemuru Machi no Futari review
Not something to read if you’re looking for a satisfying story with some sort of conclusion, but it’s a nice short read and because I enjoyed it, I think it deserves at least a 7 for not feeling like a waste of time. One of those stuffs where it’d be nice if it continued from being a one shot. It’s a little lacking as a complete story, naturally, but character interactions were not bad, and it’s overall a thoughtful piece with decent art (love the snowy setting that adds to the atmosphere). It’s short so no harm reading it.
I do wish it’d continue as it’s a decent premise but stops short of evolving into anything due to its length, but that’s what you get for a really short one shot.

Homeless Tensei: Isekai de Jiyuu Sugiru Jikyuu Jisoku Seikatsu review
I was intrigued at first because it had an adult man instead of an edgy otaku boy as main character. In the end it turned out to be the typical get reincarnated as an op character in another world. He meets an elf as soon as he arrives and partners with her because plot and that's how it goes. It's more a slice of life than a shonen really and I wouldn't mind it but I got bored along the way. Nothing of substance happen.
It's the same routine of fight monsters, get new ability, talk, eat then back to square 1 and you repeat the process over and over again while showing a new character here and there to give a sense of movement.

Canaria-tachi no Fune review
The cover of this manga really captivated me; and therefore I read it. The beginning of the story was good so far, the mystery got me going and then it went downhill.... The story had a lot of potential at the beginning but then it got confusing to a point were I was reading it just to get it over with.
There are many things that do not make sense at all and leads no where and there is no conclusion at the end; just a bunch of crap in my opinion. The art could fool you into reading it but I would say not to bother reading this, not even out of curiosity.

Shichinin no Nana review
For every shoujo romance manga you might have read, you've found yourself engrossed in a story where young students are on the cusp of discovering love, their growing bodies and minds rushing with complex emotions regarding the embodiment of their desire, sweeping you in a fairy tale of a young lady (or gentleman) finding romance, or losing love before truly understanding it. Well, not in shonen love stories, and Seven of Seven covers shonen harem love stories with the dignity of a mini skirt on a moe girl!
[STORY 5] The central plot isn't anything really new, but has a bit of originality to it. So it naturally has to drop the ball. Nana is, of course, a dangerously shy girl who doesn't have the courage to confess how she feels to Yuichi, her super crush. What I liked was each of Nana's key emotions manifesting into physical form (shyness, enthusiastic, intelligence, etc.). The problem being is that this sort of plot device requires consistantly good writing, a solid explanation of the cause and effect for her emotional disembodiments, and at least three more volumes. The fact that this happens so fast and very little detail is given as to what caused six new Nanas to appear out of nowhere is way too distracting of a concept to get around before enjoying the story. Something is loosely explained about how they are there to help her gain confidence in herself, but this thinly disguised as a plot, because in the first six pages, there are six half-nude Nanas fighting over clothes. For a 27 chapter story, nothing really happens, just a series of events to show some up-skirt shots. Tie this in with a cookie cutter villianess love rival, a stock sub-plot with the high school exams, and you have a recipe for uninspired, paint-by-numbers writing. As long as you only care about the gals showing skin, this won't bother you too much. [ART 3] Most harem titles, even if the plot is weak, lends itself to least good artwork. In this series, the art is a mess. The character designs are boring and it's pretty easy to forget about the fact that there are seven Nanas squished into a panel most of the time, some of them without distinct characteristics to tell them apart from each other. Outside of Sexy Nana and Smart Nana, the rest are fairly forgettable. They're all drawn in this squashed and rounded body style that makes all the characters look dumpy and bland. The fan service really isn't worth it, as some of the excuses for these girls to be scantily clad (to win a baseball game) is just kind of silly. It only drives home the point further that the core story is really weak. Decent backgrounds, at least. [CHARACTER 5] Despite each of the Nana's personality traits described to you, they amount to very little. There's barely enough character depth to fill up a Dixie cup. The male love interest adds nothing, and the father character is useless. Even the villian girl, whose name escapes me, adds very little. The only character I was okay with is Smart Nana. She's the most enjoyable aspect of this manga. [ENJOYMENT 6] It's really short, but at the same time, nothing really compelling happens until near the end of the story. While I was pretty harsh on every other attribute, the ending is actually a little touching, making me wish that more focus should've been put on the obvious. The humor is predictable, the supporting cast does anything but that, and it's just kind of boring. [OVERALL 6] A decent ending keeps this from being a 4 or a 3. Sadly, the focus was not where it needed to be for this title, and the fan service won't keep even ecchi fans interested long enough to care. I would rather watch the anime PROS: Lots of panchira, it's short, a pretty decent ending CONS: Boring, Unappealing artwork, poor exposition

ORETACHI NI AI WA NAI review
Don't be fooled by the summary of this manga. I was. The summary made it sound rather interesting. I wasn't looking for anything serious -- I mean, Oretachi has 4.5 chapters, how serious can it be? I just wanted a light read to waste time. Whatever. But this was more than a waste of time.
Story (2/10): There is no development whatsoever. But then again, I guess you shouldn't expect much from a manga that only has 4 chapters. Art (4/10): You know how there are some crappy manga that people still read because the art's drop dead gorgeous? Well this is not one of those manga. Move along. Character (4/10): I don't even want to start on this. It would've been more entertaining to see cardboard talk to each other than see the characters in this manga. Enjoyment (1/10): MAL should add negatives for this category. Overall (2/10): Normally I would be too lazy to write a review for manga/anime, but I really had to this time to ward people off. Take this review as a warning. Save yourselves and your brain cells.
