A Girls review
Sometimes I'm just in the mood to read something easy, short but still interesting. In one of these occasions I just happened to stumble upon A Girls.
Interesting basic premise? Check. Short? Check. Easy reading without obscure philosophies or hard-to-get scientific mumbo-jumbo? Check. Alrighty, let's dive right in... STORY 8/10 A story is well paced and keeps you interested form the first chapter to the last. It even has a few surprising plot-twists here and there, which is quite an accomplishment from a manga of this length. However, quite a few things were never really explained and the ending was such a convenient cop out. It was still good but I would have been happier if it were whom did Kazao actually choose in the end. I can't get into details without spoiling the entire manga, so let's just say the ending was a bit more open then I'd like it to be. Also, toning down fanservice a bit would've made the manga better. ART 7/10 Well, nothing to write home about here. It's good but nothing special really. CHARACTERS 7/10 The characters are interesting enough to keep you on with the story but that's all. After their first introduction you pretty much know all about them. No significant character development, hidden traits or anything the like. But hey, for 15 chapters this is enough and I have no serious complaints. ENJOYMENT 8/10 Did I get what I was looking for? Mostly. It was an enjoyable ride but the background info on the island and it's "mysteries" were a bit too vague and, as I've already said the ending left me hanging. OVERALL 8/10 If you want an interesting, easy to read love story with some mystery twist in it, go for it. You won't regret it. Chances are that this won't be the manga of your life but it's definitely an enjoyable and fun way to spend an hour or so.

Mitama Security review
Slice-of-life with ghosts.
This story is about a school girl called Haze Rena. She always has a line of ghosts following her, but she’s used to it. One day, a guy called Mitama appears before her and tells her that he’s gonna protect her from all the ghosts. He is part of the SecuREIty (‚Rei‘ means ‚ghost‘, so they were going for a little wordplay there) a sort of organization that fights ghosts. She doesn’t really care about them, though - plus, Mitama is really bad at his job because he is actually really scared of ghosts. They start hanging out together and get into all sorts of little adventures. The fact that ghosts are present doesn’t always play a role, it really feels more like a slice-of-life story. The characters (who all have weird names, especially this one detective guy, I suppose it’s a parody of all those long names people used to have - made me laugh, anyways) feel chuunibyou-ish (but since the ghosts are actually there and the guys - for now Mitama and his ‚rival‘ Souya are part of the security, they’re not) they are still a bit delusional when it comes to their own abilities (they are very good at certain things, but pride themselves on being able to do completely different things that they’re actually pretty bad at) Some wordplay and the humor is kind of ‚loud‘, which I can find annoying in other series, but the characters are charming so it works for me here. As always, humor is very subjective, I personally had to laugh a lot reading it. Haz is always pretty chill, Mitama freaks out about every little thing - I like this kind of dynamic/balance. I like the scenes with Mitama and Souya the most. There is the possibility that some kind of romance between Haze and Mitama could develop but I really hope it won’t, I’d like to see more „special“ types of connections in mange that don’t have to be romantic, but maybe that’s just me (just kidding, I know it’s not just me) The art is not really my thing, but in comedy, it's forgivable. Anyways, I feel like this would be popular if it got animated. I’d recommend you check out the first few chapters if you like comedy. I’m afraid a lot of the humor could get lost in translation, though.

TSUMITSUKI review
I noticed that there weren't any reviews for this which is originally why I thought 'Oo, I should try that manga, it sounds interesting'...
Now I can see why there are no review. What to say... Story: In essense, the story is very interesting. It has a very Jigoku Shoujo sort of feel to it with Kuroe having a very Enma Ai like character where he kills the Tsumi-Tsuki and was also very episodic. It did however lack depth and in some places it felt very rushed and therefore the reader ended up feeling a little left out from the story. Art: I did love the art. This is the kinda art that I love. Dark and creepy with lots of shadows and a lot of creepy eyes. Very reminiscent of Higurashi art. Character: There was no character development at all. Kuroe has a little bit but otherwsie I felt you did not sympathise with any of the characters. Enjoyment: All in all, it was interesting for a half an hour read but I dont think I would rush to read this again. It needed a lot more chapter, a lot more explanation and a lot more depth but as a one off, the story was interesting enough.

NAMIDA WO YURUSHITA JIGOKU NO SHISHA review
Despite never having read anything quite like this, namida felt very generic. And that's about as much as I can criticize the manga. Other than that it was okay.
Story: 5/10 The plot has an intereseting premise, but it ended up going in another direction. I'm not entirely sure if I like or dislike it. Art: 6/10 Slightly better than average, it delivered nicely when it came to fighting scenes. Character: 5/10 You get to know a little bit about the MC, and that's about it. There isn't any development, but the character's aren't all that bad themselves. Enjoyment: 6/10 The plot premise distracted me a bit, but I still enjoyed it for what it was. Overall: 5/10 It was an ok manga. I'd recommend it to those who like action scenes, since it is a really short read.

ANNE FREAKS review
This manga does not disappoint, the story will get you invested fast just like the authors other work. While I wished for another ending, the story is quite well written and it never goes off the main story arc, and when it does it shows you the stories of other characters and what their intentions are, well sort of, since you are let to guess until the very end if there would be a double crossing. One thing that I liked, is the fact that even though it deals with murders and violence and crimes, you have an easy time to read it, so you'll
get to question yourself like why are you enjoying something like this? But don't think that you won't be shocked or moved by the actions in this manga. The characters are a interesting as you witness their descent into madness and a false idea of revenge. But the humor the author tried to put in this manga didn't click with the overall atmosphere. But still for me it's a solid 9 for a psychological thriller(since this isn't really a mystery) manga. It's isn't comparable to Kimi no Knife, which I consider the author's best work and one of the best manga's ever written, but it's still unique as it's more reality based then any other psychological thriller that usually goes into supernatural.

Ningyo Rhapsody review
This is by far one of the most moving stories I've ever read. Rather it be by personal feelings or past experiences, the fact that only around 100 people have read this criminally underrated manga is sad. Looking beyond the artwork and writing, it is a story about a forbidden love; one told from by the creativity and art of Tatsuki.
The ocean and the land may as well be the earth and the moon, relatively speaking. It is told many times throughout the story that the perspectives and beliefs of both mermaids and humans clash in a cultural conflict; whether it be by mermaids eating humans, or humans eating mermaids. Regardless, a universal unity exists from the creation of music. Music, as shown in this story, serves to illustrate the previously mentioned "forbidden love". It acts as a bridge between these foreign worlds. This concept isn't new in writing, but in terms of the plot, it is the first to run in tandem with the idea of forbidden love. Both parties exhibit a mutual bitterness for the ideals and beliefs of the other, but in the end, love still penetrates the veil of ignorance and hate that blinds everyone. I highly recommend anyone with a bit of spare time to thoroughly read through this. There is something for everybody in this little story.

Sakura Taisen review
I've read a few volumes of this series. I find that with all the Sakura Wars series it relies heavily on the characters. Most of the story is about how the characters develop. The setting is very unique. It takes place in the 1910s or 20s with a lot of steam powered machines including the mechs which is totally different style from gundams. Overall the story is interesting, well written and unique.
The drawing I would say basic not detailed to the point and doesn't lack in detail. Very clean and light drawings. The characters is the strong point in this series and also with all the other Sakura Wars series. The character designer, Kosuke Fujishima, is the god of female designs. He wrote Ah My Goddess and designed the characters for both the Sakura Wars series and some of the Tales of series including Tales of Symphonia. In this series the main heroine is very well designed however all the other heroine's designs really lacked in creativity. I didn't mind this too much though because the development with them is very well written. Although Fujishima is the god of female character designs his male character design are always too plain and in this series it is no exception. Other then the design and the development the characterization of all characters, male or female, is very strong. Although it is very unique in the plot and setting. I still find this a lot like reading just another herm series. Overall its not a bad series. Its very likable. I was hooked at some points.

Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo review
“Mild Spoiler review”
You may wondering about real-life romcom that “How would it work in real life?” Well, this manga is a perfect place for you. But, just like what you’re thinking, it won’t be that good as those cliched mangas. [This review contain lot’s of “realistic” word, but please know the reasons first. I just realized I overused this word in these paragraph, so I must tell you beforehand that “That’s how it is!” This may look silly to some of you but if you reconsider my words again, you will know why I over use it so much.] Story: 9 Starting as a typical idiot romcom harem protagonist, it made me feel very bored until the last part of the 1st chapter that twisted so hard I realize that “this manga is so damn real!” Most of readers may think that this want to show “how important ‘feelings’ are”, but that’s just a piece of the main idea. The story portray everything that you need to know to realize possibilities in the next panels. You may think some are predictable and some are unexpected, but all of them are “realistic”. There are none of “silly thought” or “unreasonable decision” in this story, even if you think so. People always decide things base on emotion and opinion, just these two with reasons and some facts as their excuses on something, which author realized that and illustrate it nicely but harshly. This is more clear in the second arc when people believe something in the media, even if it’s real or not, they would stick to it and stand on their own opinion. Also, the story even tell how far self-centered defensive instincts of human can be. As it showed in the story, there are some situation that lead to the conclusion that “I’m always right! But YOU are wrong!” This also influenced the readers’ thought too which make reader feel sad/desperate/or angry. It’s exactly how school work as a “small-sized society”. I feel really blessed by how real this story is and I recommend analyzing the story while reading this too. (Eventually, there are some of fan service too, but that’s forgivable for me because it’s mildly done and that’s a good thing for me) Art: 7 The art is pretty decent with little amount of noticeable flaws, but forgivable. It’s not the perfect way to show characters’ emotion. But the way how artist portray the difference between both side of protagonists is pretty good and clear, which make it easier to understand which character they were at the time. Background are inexistent for me because all readers’ attention got sucked by characters, all of them, which I will explain more in the next paragraph on the “Character”. Character: 8 All I have is “Wow!” It’s hard to realize that all characters should be real people, not only just a protagonist’s acquaintances. They have their own mind process and different reactions on a certain situation. You think some are cliched but that’s not all of their characters. The feeling when you know what this character would say on some situation is unlike when you guess the dialogue of NPC’s, it’s a feeling when you know how your friends would react in a certain situation. The bond between characters still have some flaws but author did a great job controlling them, especially between 5 people. But the most important person this the main guy, he mad me mad when he’s in the pressured situation and made me feel calm when he can rest. His fear/happiness/sadness/anger ultimately make readers comply with him , and that’s really great tbh. Kick-ass character can even feel other side of feeling and after the story clear up, the bond between them are apparently stronger than the first episode. I feel them as “trustable characters”, which make me feel safer and also the protagonist. After the second arc happen, connection circle of the protagonists’ group got wider, which make relationship between all of them weirder but still understandable. Still, the story is better and I hope the bond between them would improve in an interesting way. Enjoyment and Overall: 9 It’s not a manga that you really make you want to marathon, but you can if you just turn the next chapter’s page. It can make you addict but that addiction isn’t eternal, but, you can pause and it’s still hovering in your mind. I can’t forget what happened and can’t keep thinking of how the next chapter would be. Maybe it’s just me, but trust me that you won’t regret reading this. This may not be a masterpiece or a pure heart slice of life, but it’s “interesting and illustrates common human logic in a realistic way without those abstract thinking, which all of this are covered with a peaceful romcom cute cover artstyle”. I wish this review would be helpful on your decision on this manga. Hope you enjoy my review and have a great day while reading great mangas.

Domestic na Kanojo review
Once again, you'll see the very same review that flooded the internet full of anger and hatred towards Domestic na Kanojo aka Domestic Girlfriend. It was a fine journey until it met its demise.
At the time of corona pandemic, like many people out there who enjoys watching anime and reading manga, I too was searching from some rom-com slice of life thingy anime (since it is my fav genre) then I came across Domestic Girlfriend. Oh boy did I not enjoy it? It was at least 8/10 for me the first season of the anime. Then I decided to read the manga and started binge read it. And misery started... A good rom com has a good plot twist if not several, depending on how the mangaka wants to develop its characters relationships and finally come to a conclusion. But boy oh boy, Domestic na Kanojo took plot twists to cross several dimensions. Seriously?! I wanted to punch my monitor so hard at the ending but remembered I just got the monitor :( . I couldn't able to sleep that night with overflowing agony that was running through all of my veins. How could you do this? As if the amount of time we spent reading this manga was all for vain? We got stuck reading this like how a bug finds light source chase it down all the way and then boom finds out that it was a insect zapping lamp. It really had the potential to become one of the best romance manga and She(Mangaka) fukin ruined it. Great job!!
