Shingeki no Kyojin review
Yeah, we are in the finale of this manga. Why i write a review now? Just because i want to show some dedication of my number #1 Series. And that's enough if u love something so much. And ofc because there are a lot of early reviews of the manga. So in balance here is my late review.

Story: 10/10
Well, I love the stories reflects to our world. And this series has one of the best of them. With emotions, not just on the characters face, but in my heart too. The first anime episode itself was enough evidence for that. And it gave me the "this is something else" feeling, and in the best way possible. For example Sadis's honesty about the sacrifice of his soldier towards the heartbroken mother. The plot twists sometimes slaps u realy hard. And i like that. Especially when their foreshadowings are right before your eyes. And sometimes u do a huge facepalm: "How i didn't notice that?!" I couldn't wait after the first anime season, that's why i started to read the manga. And i'm realy glad i did. I never made and read theories this much before.

Art: 9/10
Yeah, the art developed so much since the first 2 volume, what was a disappointment for some ppl back then. Nowdays some of the pages has more details than volume 1 itself. And i think Isayama finaly found his own art style. And i'm happy i can see that animated in the anime's finale. Thanks Mappa. For black haired Pieck too. <3

Characters: 8/10
This was the first and still the only one manga/anime that made me love it's own mc. Besides that, there are plenty of interesting characters we can see. They are all have different personalities. Most of them has reasonable acts, and you can understand why are they doing this or that. U will meet with badass and "less badass characters", funny, adorable, smart, jerk and total garbage characters and their combinations, just like irl. But they add to the story or just to the world itself. U will find your favs and the opposite of them. This is a very important thing in this genre.

Enjoyment: 10/10
Do you know the feel when something looks way shorter even if it's a 3 hours long drama? When an anime gives you the 5-10 minutes feel, but then u realize that it's 23-24 minutes in reality, well, then u realy enjoy the hell out of it. SnK is like that and the source manga gives the same feel to me every month like: ,,This was the normal amount of pages?" I want more! This kind of addiction is an another sign that you found ur fav anime/manga.

Overall: 10/10
All of the earlier mentioned things and the feeling that you realy read something special what is different from anything that u've seen and read before and want brainstorming about that all day and all night long.

Tokkaten review
Tokkaten is something I stumbled upon by incident, and at that time I had a very busy schedule and just wanted to have something that you can just read over over a cup of herb tea, and Tokkaten was just it.

It features a number Hanazawa-sensei's earliest works, a bunch of oneshots featuring different teens in separate stories that take place chronologically one year apart; and while the stories are fairly slice-of-life, he would later go on to create works like 'Ressentiment' and you can definitely see that in these: his unique take on things like bullying and young-adult relationships, and while it's nothing deep - it's really interesting.

I felt that the art was moderately basic (it WAS his early work), very Hanazawa-sensei-eesh. And for me, that gave the stories a childlike lightheartedness to them. The stories are anything *but* childlike: there's lots of lewdness, subtle black humour, and a bit cynicism - but still, it IS a bunch of stories about young adults and the stories themselves are like those things that you did once during your school years that no one remembers about, and don't really affect you after all these time.

With all these said - the characters are unmemorable, random people doing seemingly random things: but that adds more to the story; overall I enjoyed that tea-break. Would recommend it if you like weird things and looking to pass a quick time, and especially if you're a Hanazawa-sensei fan.

Ousama Game review
Well then. That's three hours of my life I'll never get back.

I've always had a soft spot for the survival game trope. Battle Royale, Hunger Games, hell, even Mirai Nikki - for all its ridiculousness and flaws - managed to keep me entertained right until the very end. There's something wholeheartedly fun about the idea of a group of people pit against each other in psychological/physical warfare to the death, nor is it a very hard thing to write and write well; so why is it that Ousama Game failed?

It all boils down to one single fact: Ousama Game takes itself way too seriously.

There's this desperation interwoven within the writing and art - a plea of "this manga is saying something deep about society and life...I don't know what, but something at least!" From the bloated cast of characters that go from one extreme emotion to the other to the exaggerated screaming expressions you'll become desensitized to due to overuse; all of this, and more form the foundations for a manga that will have you rolling your eyes more often than not.

It's stupid. I understand that's a pretty blunt thing to say, but that really is the only word to describe it. And I'm not above enjoying ridiculous entertainment for the sake of ridiculous entertainment; I love turning my brain off, chilling back, and watching something dumb to end the day on. But this kind of thing only works when there's a self-awareness contained within the work that keeps your logic from jumping in to ruin the fun. Here, Ousama Game is so convinced it's telling an epic survival tale that its shock value runs dry past the first two chapters, and it ends up tangled in too many threads and convoluted twists that result in an ending that just...stops.

Yeah. It just finishes. As if even the author can't wait to be done with this work.

In the end, I give Ousama Game a

3.3/10

POOR

With a recommendation to Skip It

Look, there's better survival game material out there than this. Better stuff that at least treats its audience with respect, or has even the slightest hint of subtlety to complement its art and writing. Reading Ousama Game was the equivalent to being beaten over the head repeatedly with a spiked hammer: I get it, people can be assholes when they find out they're going to die, but you're going to have to try harder than over the top constipation faces and one-note characters to get your point across.

GOOD; Only the most hardcore of survival game fans will find anything good here. It has its brief moments of entertainment and unintentional hilarity, but it's not worth the painful ride to get there.

MIXED;; The art is serviceable, but its dragged down by just how over the top it becomes. Be prepared for a dozen panels of people screaming with spittle hanging off their lips. After the first two times, it becomes funny, as opposed to shocking. Could have been a cool idea, if executed right.

BAD;; Bloated cast that fluctuates between 'angelic' and 'asshole.' Ending is not only rushed, but confusing and downright "whaaaat?" Poor writing that garners no sympathy for its characters.

Fukushuu Kyoushitsu review
So, what is revenge classroom about?
Well, that's simple. It's about revenge.
Story- 10
I haven't really seen many manga or anime that do this.
They take someone who's been bullied, and in this case, the protagonist, Ayana, is consistently raped and stolen from, among other things.
And then, she's almost killed when pushed in front of a car.
And what does she decide to do?
Ruin the lives of everyone in her classroom. Gather information, and put plans into motion. Simple, yet the sheer anticipation kept me hooked in the story.
It's strangely invigorating, watching Ayana plan and execute her revenge.
Art- 9
The art fits the story and genres of the story extremely well. Ayana just has that sort of "Hey, I might be insane!" Kind of atmosphere. But, when the characters need to, they look cute. The artist also isn't afraid to show blood or death scenes.
So, again, the art fits the tone if the story extremely well.
Characters- 10
The characters are one of the reasons that I can't put this damn manga down, even with only 10 chapters currently out.
So, there's the main character, Ayana, who I've already explained.
Then there's her two sidekicks.
Ai, who is almost as demented as Ayana.
And the other one, who's simply trying to support his family.
The targets of Ayana's revenge are also well-done.
There's hardly a single one that's one-dimensional.
From a girl oppressed by her parents to a pair of suggestedly homosexual Highschool prostitutes, they're all captivating.
Enjoyment- 10
This was a diamond in the rough moment for me.
If it wasn't obvious from the way I went on about it, I really, really, enjoy this manga.
Overall- 10
It's an amazing manga with so much to offer.
If you're looking for a good psychological story, give this a try. I can guarantee that you won't regret it.

Two words: Holy. S***.
Despite being easily scared, I love the horror genre and have read and watched a fair amount of it.
Considering my love of the Meakashi-hen in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, I figured a manga couldn't be much bloodier. Boy was I wrong,

Story: 9/10
The story is very good, keeping the reader on the edge of their seat with fast paced, unpredictable horror. Unfortunately, there were a couple parts that I found somewhat boring and, being somewhat squeamish, some of the horror scenes freaked me out a bit more than I would've liked. Overall, it is very good though.

Art: 10/10
Creepy, memorable and consistent. The horror scenes are wonderfully fluid with lovely backgrounds and a very nice design given to the Lolita girl that makes her stand out and seem all the more creepy and insane, with hollow eyes and a filthy attire.

Character: 10/10
All the characters seemed to stay in character most if not all the time. The Lolita girl is scary as hell and the other characters are all relatively realistic, though a bit stereotypical at times.

Enjoyment: 9/10
Although this kept me enthralled an creeped out all the way through, I do have to chop marks off due to the somewhat abrupt ending as well as there being a couple instances fairly forced of female upper nudity with no real purpose other than fanservice. It's not something I'll probably read again, but I'm glad I read it.

Overall I give this creepy goodness a 9 out of ten.

Strange Dragon Manga Review
By: Ishihara Keiko
April 3, 2019

Overall: 8

Plot: 8

The story focuses on a young princess who's in search of a dragon in order to get back the throne of his deceased father. Though the story is fast paced since it only contains of 12 chapters, it clearly show the purpose the creator wanted the viewer to see. The will of the princess to take over the land and make up for the citizens who was treated poorly by the previous King, and the faithfulness of the dragon in her. Feels like a shorter and simpler version of Akatsuki no Yona. What is interesting on this manga is how the story show that not all we believe is true, that it is not appearance that matters. Yes, its kind of cliche but the way the creator laid it is great.

Characters: 7

Since the story is short, the chance for the characters to grow is critical. If not, impossible. Though it is minimal, the changes of the characters is there. How the guardian dragon excel in order to protect the princess is quite a catch. He change in a little bit of time he had. While he changed, the princess might take time. Yes, there are scenarios where she needs to stand up and speak for herself and that's good. It is understandable that growing in the position she have will take a lot of effort and time to achieve.

Art: 10

How I love the art of this one. It is cool, and polished. Every shade is almost perfect, the proportions of the body is great, and how the lips of the characters were made is really really attractive. It is such a waste that there is no colored page of how the dragon looks like. Just wanna see it with colors.

Enjoyment: 7

There's only a few stories which I love even if it is fast paced. It is because of rarity of the story, the way the story goes without a single loophole on it, with a thought that it really ends there. I love Historical Stories so it is a plus for this one. If only it is longer, I think I will enjoy it more. Since this type of story needs more time to grow and more adventures to encounter.

Ending: 8

The way the story ends by making the entity, the citizens believed in, the enemy is a great one. It is unexpected but expected. It is expected to the point that there should be an enemy the guardian dragon must overcome and unexpected that it is them. That is just how the story goes. The main point is how the guardian dragon accepts his bitter faith in order to love the princess and stay together. Even if he know that it will end the way he don't want to.
