I wasn't surprise to find is only 28 years old. The manga screams of youth.

Koe no Katachi, a comic released some years ago (2013 perhaps) recently got an adaption on the silver screen. Walking pass posters reminds me of my impression with the comic and the impression it created.
I wasn't impressed with the story and the characters unfortunately. They are cliche and the story is predictable. However do not be mistaken that the story or its characters are bad, they are quite well executed actually and I really appreciate the author effort to put many pages into exploring each and everyone of them instead of jumping over them (except for the last volume which is basically summing them up, it was very strange). It is well developed around the central theme of "growing up" with everyone facing their past, present and future. However it is soaked in hopefulness and mellow feeling, quite contrasting to the reality of school bullying and emotional pain that the characters were experiencing. I have a hunch that this was written from experience. It is very emotional but also inspirational (something Maeda didn't do to me, though that is more of because I don't want to be motivated by things like "life is precious", that's too generic), trying to show how far a person could go by putting in all their heart and soul and that's what this comic is really good in transferring. Helping that is the competent and consistent art style that feels very much fantastic and moving, giving the frames and character a little bit of life and movement in their actions and facial expression. Also well done is the dialogues that lack the usual for the lack of the better word "cringe" so often fall into by Japanese authors who never ever observe how real people talk (if you say anything otherwise, I have lived with Japanese, they don't talk like that). That is not to say there are no moments like that but I didn't have any memory of such imprinted and only comes up when I reread it for the movie so that is a job well done.
What is this comic for I asked and found it to be quite nicely fits into the emo teenagers the best. I think it really opens to them the real world of dramatic portrayal of real-life rather than the simplistic Shounen or the over-styled Seinen or Josei. It could be a good read for them to learn and grow up. I deemed it very fitting for modern society teenagers whose ego and self-interest make them very unobservant oblivious to the perils, emotions of others or how to behave appropriately (even decision making to a certain extend) that was portrayed. Somehow it makes me think of Catcher in the Rye. Unfortunately seasoned veterans like me (I do admit I do not want to be associated with Otaku and frequently mistaken as such) will find it lacking in creativity, vision and real emotional and memorable moments. Sounds controversial but I assure you after the 7th works with similar themes you start to feel cold.

Story: 4

The story started off predictably with a cliché underdog who has great potential to move to higher heights. However, as the chapters goes by, the story pace became so rushed that at the end, I'm left with an abrupt ending with a bitter taste in my mouth. The first few chapters, the pacing was great, details on the character and their motive was told clearly. Then it all went downhill.... Motives of some characters were not explained. Actions of some characters was just... confusing. It's as though you found a box of ice cream in the fridge and it turns out to be filled with frozen meat.

Your everyday pathetic underdog with a sad backstory. Was expecting more appearance from other characters and their progress but it seems like the author introduced them and just forgot about them, leaving them to rot in the wasteland of forgotten character. Like what happened to the horse?! What is the main purpose of introducing the horse when it'll all be forgotten after a few chapters?
After the Main Character went into berserk mode, it seems like everything is glossed over, making the character too OP.

It was drawn by the artist of Douluo Dalu. If you like art style like that, it's the manhua for you. Every page is fully coloured, adding to the viewing enjoyments.

Was interesting in the beginning but left dumbfounded in the end. The flow of the story takes a weird turn that I nearly gave up reading it.

Overall, I would recommend you to read the first few chapters and imagine the ending on your own. Create an ideal ending in your mind, Imagination is everything.....

This is a decent read. There are four one shots and the last one is a few pages about the mangaka (manga artist/writer), Shinjo Mayu. So although it says 5 chapters in this one volume, it's made up of 4 one-shot stories and a few articles about the creator.

To be fair I think the most interesting for me is really finding out about Shinjo Mayu, she comes across really cute and uber funny. Some of that is of course translated in her work but I found that part where she could be frank with the fans to be revealing and fun to read about.

As for the 4 one-shots, they were actually pretty decent to read. I'm being honest, not much subjugation of women or even emotional blackmail and rape. Most of the characters were just average characters with pretty nicely developed personalities. The men in general could be a bit arrogant and overbearing but other than that the guys were actually caring and great people. She's had a few abusive males and in this set there really isn't any of that.

**Here is some forewarning each of the stories delve into some sort of taboo or hang up. The first deal with incest, the second deals with yaoi, the third deals with and older girl with a younger boy and the last one deals with doctor/patient relationships. Most will think that yaoi is not taboo, but really homosexual relationships are problematic in this day and age and people still have hang ups. This just touches on it a bit, but it's not the focus of the story as the primary couple is heterosexual. The older girl and younger boy, it's a one year age difference but it's something that is far less common than a younger girl and an older man. The final one deals with doctor/patient---in the medical profession it' snot a big deal. But a psychiatrist would never date his patients and that is considered a no-no. So in Japan ANY doctor/patient relationship might hold the same taboo.

The first one-shot is a relationship between cousins. This one actually had more things to be upset about because this poor girl was going to be taken advantage of by someone in authority. This really taps into the horrible position so many young girls are in by those in authority and who have a great deal of power to abuse and manipulate them. That was uncool. However the person she was in love with is a great guy and I was surprised that he sincerely had feelings for her. I actually liked the idea, and probably felt that it would have been better if he wasn't into her, but remained supportive. As a note incest turns off most people but cousins (first even) are allowed to marry in many places around the world even in the US. That being said, I had no personal hang ups, but for those who do have problems with incest romances I would recommend moving onto the other stories in the set because this is the ONLY one involving incest. Oh I liked the lead girls character in the story. She's very upbeat, fun, and is truly and madly in love with her cousin/teacher. She was an interesting character and done well.

The second one-shot wasn't that great. I found this one unimportant but it does touch on a bit of yaoi. So that's interesting. But the characters are lack luster. The girl did nothing for me and she was unimpressive same for the male lead. He was just lackluster. He could have had the same appeal as Akuma from Akuma na Eros but he feel disastrously short. I read this quickly and moved on.


The third one-shot was pretty good and I know a few people would be into it. It's basically dealing with a girl who has feelings for a younger guy. She has to over come her own hang ups until he even accepts her but he's in love with her. The male lead I felt seemed to try and appear domineering but he played off the nice guy far better.

The fourth one-shot was nice. I thought this one was well developed as most of them are, and it had a juicier depth. This was the funniest out of all the stories since there was a bit more gross comedy involved from flatulence to ghosts. So for entertainment quality out of all the stories I liked this one the best and the first one shot is a close second. The male lead is a good guy who seems entertained by the female lead antics and he takes it in stride which makes it even funnier. Nicely done with this one.

Anyway, I think most people should try this. There's some good stuff in here.

man.... every guy probably has fantasised about how your classmates will look like naked lol. Are they padded? What kind of panties do they wear? What do their nibbles look like? Any normal horny teen would have these thoughts, but not act on them, cus we got no balls. Well, Doge-san is our role model. We wanna be brave, not get turned down, living the best life anybody could ask(being able to look at the beauty of women) just like him. This twitter short manga gives us 10/10 entertainment, 10/10 fappable material(art), with 10/10 girls. Dogeza de Tanondemita is the ecstasy that every men need. This quickie 2D girl manga does a really good job by giving instant entertainment, mild erotism(10 seconds for every chapter) and so i highly recommend this short manga. XD pardon my english.

So a hungry joker review. where shall I start?

Let me just say that this surely a disappointing manga, why ? I shall tell you.

The story starts off nicely with character introduction, the learning of the powers that they using. So i got interested but halfway throughout the series I start to notice that they story is being rushed and that makes it a mess out of the series. this surely had great potential if it had dragged out a lot longer so that we can see good character development and see story play out a bit better.

Story:
story wise i gave this a 5. I was sincerely interested in the story because of the main character past, you saw all those dead people around him and makes you wonder what happened plus you get too know that he was being used for something. but then again since the story was rushed I cannot give it higher then a 5

Art:
Well i am not genius when it comes too art so i ll just rate however the art looks like for me. i give it a 8. although the characters look great, it doesn't make up lack of details in the background. Should it had beautiful surroundings I am sure the manga would have been better off

Characters:
While they have good characters. I find the main ones lacking. If only the manga had been longer maybe then the characters could development into more likable and enjoyable characters. So I gave it a 7

Enjoyment:
I did enjoy this manga to a certain extend but that was only until halfway, after that it was all "meh" . I gave this a 6 since I was interested in the first place.

Overall:
When I add all the things above in a rating I would say overall this manga is a 6, its real shame really. This manga could have achieve something great had it gotten some time. Read this manga if you have time or your bored. don't get your hopes up thinking this will be great when you start reading it.

Manga versions of long light novel series are often just disappointing advertisements for the novels. Unlimited Fafnir is a little bit better than that... but just a little bit.

Story: 5/10 There are WAY too many plot elements for 20 chapters. Three years earlier, a boy mysteriously saves his sister from a dragon. He then gets whisked off to be an assassin for the military, while she develops supernatural powers, related to the dragons, and is sent to a school to train those. This series starts with him joining her at that school--the only boy there--and encountering a pretty naked girl. Then come the harem antics, fights with three different dragons, betrayals at the academy, mysterious backgrounds for each of a dozen characters...

Like I said, way too much plot for 20 chapters. None of it is bad, but it all happens too fast to be comprehensible.

Art: 8/10 The art is solid. The character models are standard, shounen "cute", but done well. The backgrounds and battle sequences are pretty well drawn.

Character 7/10. Too many characters as well. I liked them all, for the most part. They all seemed to have interesting stories, and I wanted to know more about them. But, there is no depth to anyone... cause you know, a dozen characters in 20 chapters.

Enjoyment: 7/10. If you check your brain at the door, there are some amusing harem antics between well-drawn battle sequences. So yeah, pretty fun.

Overall: A generous 7/10. It's not a bad manga, at all, but it's not really good either. If you want to know whether to try out the Light Novel series, it's worth a read. If you really love manga like Trinity Seven or High School DxD... well, this is a not-bad manga in the same genre, and it won't take up much of your time.

For the rest of you, go elsewhere.

I know nothing about manga artist Hisae Iwaoka, so I walked into this with only curiosity because I liked the art and I love these kind of slice-of-life random stories. What I got was something heartwarming and cute, two simple stories involving kids and teachers at a school (schools? possibly two different schools.)

The first story is about a teacher who stumbles on two kids hanging out at the train tracks looking at something. He walk over and finds out that they are staring at a bunny, shivering with fear. The kids are in his class and after a little coaxing, convince him to let the bunny be the class pet. Then strange things start to happen, the bunny is escaping from its box. The kids find him every morning after a long night of......reliving himself... The kids and teacher really become confused when the bunny is still getting out, even after they put books on top of the box to secure him from escaping.

The second story is about two middle school girls who are trying to find the perfect club to join after one of them hurts her back while playing volleyball. They deiced to give the choir club a shot and find the the only two members are stranger then they thought. This one is a little more deep then the first one, diving into the mind of the main girl as she wishes she can play volleyball, but most coup with having to settle with something less exciting.

Both these stories are done in a melancholy kind-of-feel which is what drew me to it. I love simple stories about simple people doing simple things in their lives. Some people might find this manga boring or slow, understandable but I can't but help feel like smiling when I read these stories, it reminds me to respect and live the little moments.

A very funny story of short chapters and an easy reading, in this manga we see the day to day of a mother in her 40s but who has a body of 20 but does not realize it, are several very funny situations and with a little ecchi, a great mango to spend time and read without compromise.

In my personal opinion an excellent manga I had a lot of fun with reading and with the various comic situations, at first it may even seem like it's going to be just another manga perverted but it ends up being a good comedy showing the day to day of an owner of house that is actually a beauty.

I only missed her having more interactions with her son, in the manga has more comical situations with the son's friend than the son itself, this was a negative point for me.

This book contains seven stand alone stories, which have not much in common, except maybe graphic sex (they were published in Manga Erotics, so that much is not surprising).

At times you may find them disgusting, or something even worse, but if you are brave enough to take on this author's slightly deranged brain, you are in for one Hell of a ride!
The strong point of this book does not lie in the art - it is pleasant enough to look at, but nothing groundbreaking. Neither are the characters, which are as detailed as they need to be for a short story (which is to say, sketchy at best). The strength of this manga lies in the impact of the stories. They are amazing and imaginative and at times very crazy. If you have an open mind, they will make you laugh, cry and gasp in amazement at the author's imagination. Though if you prefer logical, clean-cut storylines in your comic books, you may want to steer clear of this one. Anyone else should get this right now.

Quintessential wish fulfillment reading for people who don't think they're too good for ecchi isekai. If you've ever thought that the line between ecchi manga and hentai doujins is too strict, and not enough proper stories include the bonking regardless of how well it'd fit, or half ass it when they do, this is the thing for you.

This manga does everything one would expect from "isekai". It doesn't have many, if any things other series wouldn't have, but what it shines in is the execution of concepts most people are already well acquainted with.

The artist of the series, Hyouju Issei, had his hand in drawing eromanga before, but this manga is without a doubt his best work so far. Both lewds and aside all the ero. I've never seen a girl look this soft on a piece of paper, nor have I ever been this engaged by infographics explaining the most mundane LitRPG mechanics. While the content was enjoyable enough for me to read through in a novel format, it is absolutely amazing when illustrated by this god amongst men.

Everything is delivered perfectly. The dungeon system is one of the most intricate in Japanese LitRPG, and its implementation functions as a solid core to the series. The combat within the dungeon gives off an air of intimidation at the start, although later on, it becomes a past-time for the crew, and acts as a carrier for general interaction. The dynamic combat shots really bring the dungeon to life, and even when the stakes lower, it's still a joy to read.

Now while it might be awkward if not downright disgusting to some, I think the slave dynamic in Isekai Meikyuu de Harem wo is fucking great. Well, the novel was originally 'Save Harem' instead of just 'Harem' before being serialized. Would be a shame if it didn't. All the "Sasuga" and "It's because it's master!" aside, Michio, against all that you'd expect, is a responsible owner and Roxanne is not only loyal, but adjusts well to the relationship as well. The eventual shift from both sides, from buying a slave because you're horny as fuck and wanted to fuck a cute beastgirl, and from showing obligatory signs of affection as you were instructed before being sold off as a slave, to genuine devotion towards each other. It's honestly a bit twisted, but rather than relying on Stockholm Syndrome shenanigans like most other isekai of the sort, it just feels right this time around.

There's still 3 more girls to be introduced as of writing the review, and the 2nd girl has barely had any time in the spotlight yet. All of the girls only get better with time in the novel, and if the manga keeps going as it has been so far, the series is set for a damn good lineup.

The series takes things easy and takes its time. Nothing feels rushed. It's such an enjoyable read. While I'd be lying if I said the lewds didn't make me biased, when they're drawn this fucking well, I'd say that's well deserved. An unashamed 10 out of 10. In every aspect.
