Real Clothes review

I picked up this manga randomly out of sheer boredom, never though that 6 hours later I would find my self still reading it and wanting more!!

there is nothing extraordinary about it. if you're looking for a super gorgeous manga full of hot stylish guys and a glamorous heroin then this is not for you.

"Real clothes" is simple, realistic and down to earth. Mainly it's about 27 years old Amano Kinue, la successful futon saleswoman in the department store (Echizenya). Kinue is plain, chubby and has absolutely no interest or knowledge about anything related to fashion and make up. Suddenly she gets transferred to the high class woman's clothing store, there we see her struggle while trying to adapt to her new job and new co-workers in a realistic, easy to relate to setting which was really fun to watch.

As for the characters: we have a few very lovable once; Kinue is very hard working and determent, it was very refreshing to have a female main character who isn't diving into the arms of every man she comes across, and I LOVED how she dales with her private matters in a non overly dramatic way.
And Tabuchi Yusakua, a big shot buyer and kinue's manager. I ABSOLUTELY ADORE this guy, his funny overly exited character was completely unexpected from someone in his position, and his assistant Nikolin with his unique afro is a breath of fresh air, the comedic scenes that they provided were hilarious.

the art wasn't something jaw dropping or memorable to say the least but it fits perfectly with the story and purpose of this manga; which is the clothes and a clear image the type of body each individual has.

Enjoyment: I'd give it an 8. solely on the fact that I read 55 chapters in one go (the number of chapter available at the moment.)

overall: I'd recommend this for anyone who loves fashion related manga or someone who is looking for something different to read.
If you're sick of romance filled mangas and whiny weak willed girls give this a try, even though I'm not that interested in fashion I certainly found my self wanting to work under Tabuchi-san, if only there were bosses like him in real life :(
