Boku dake ga Inai Machi review

I actually came across this manga a few years ago, but didn't think much of it at first and didn't read it until last weekend. From what many said about the anime adaptation, I knew it has a good story. What I didn't expect was to get so immersed into the main character's situation (Satoru).

Story - 10
The manga started didn't go immediately to the problem, but set it in slowly in the very beginning. Everything gets real once certain events occur and you just find yourself reading it. I don't want to say too much, but it really is as good as they say story-wise.

Art - 7
The art itself isn't the best, but it is good. I'm not the best when judging it if it suits the story or not, but I think it does a good job with it.

Character - 9
I really like the characters in the manga, especially Satoru's mom. (She's the real MVP!) But I really like the development and changes with Satoru himself. He really does change from the first chapter all the way to the last. If you read the whole thing, you'll see what I mean when I say that the whole thing with Satoru in the beginning is brought full circle.

Enjoyment - 9
I enjoyed this quite a lot. I had a hard time putting this down when I knew I had to sleep.

Overall - 9
This manga is overall a really good read with a great story, and I enjoyed reading this very much!
